Property Overview
Ma'alaea Surf, Unit G5 - Just steps from one of Maui’s longest white sand beaches, newly remodeled G-5 has all the amenities of a luxury resort. Centrally located between the tourist's centers of Lahaina/Kapalua and Wailea/Makena, Maalaea Surf is just 15 minutes from the airport and the civic center of Maui. You are never far from most Maui attractions, but once you’ve settled in your spacious apartment, you’ll probably never want to leave this 5-acre oceanfront resort. You can walk or jog along the beach that seems to go forever in both directions and whale watch while enjoying a spectacular Maui sunset on your private patio (lanai). Sugar Beach is also great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding or just relaxing and working on your tan or watching the children building sandcastles.
A fully equipped kitchen makes dining in a breeze either in the dining area that seats 6 or out on the lanai. The unit has central AC or throw open the patio doors and keep cool with the ceiling fans. The King size bed and the Queen size sleeper sofa with luxury linens can accommodate four guests comfortably. There are two televisions, cable, high speed internet with Wi-Fi access, tennis court, two pickleball courts, two swimming pools, bar-b-que facilities, shuffleboard, coin operated laundry facilities and convenient parking.
G-5 is a ground floor unit which opens onto the lawn and tropical landscape. It has unobstructed ocean views and is near to one of two swimming pools.
Our condo is well-equipped with the following amenities:
Fully equipped gourmet kitchen (refrigerator, icemaker, dishwasher, microware, oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender)
Kitchen utensils (pots and pans, dishes, glassware and flatware and plastic ware for poolside sipping)
Two flat screen TV’s, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, Wi-Fi, wired access to the internet
Small library of books and games
Recreation equipment of beach chairs, towels, cooler, snorkel equipment
Two grill areas and Coin operated laundry facilities on site.
Our property is NOT impacted by the recent news regarding potential short-term rental (STR) restrictions in Maui. Because we are zoned as a hotel property, we are exempt from the County of Maui's proposed STR regulations.

You can relax on your lanai that is just steps from the massive pool and ocean. I hadn't been back to Ma'alaea since I was a teenager and now I was able to bring my kids, which was so special. It hasn't changed a bit. The grounds are impeccable, the management team is amazing and it has the amenities that make a vacation relaxing and fun. I hold a special placce in my heart for Ma'alaea Surf and can't wait to go back.
