Enjoy Panoramic Ocean Sunset Views From Your Private, Gated Residence

This house is perfect for a large family! We were at maximum capacity and never felt crowded. Outside area is perfect for down time. Furniture is comfortable and we all took plenty of naps on them! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We will be back and we will want to rent this again.

The host was always very quick to respond, the home was beautiful with a stunning view, the beds were very comfortable. We were welcomed with a big beautiful basket of fresh fruit! We had a large group of 9 adults and two children, we all loved it and would definitely stay again. We were in a pinch last minute to find accommodations and the owner made it happen fast! Excellent experience!

We stayed at this property for 7 days, all together there was 12 of us. The house was big enough for all of us and the location was great. Initially scored this property 4 stars due to, pool not being heated as advertised, ceiling fan in one of the upstairs bedrooms not functional, mold noted in that same room on a lamp shade, a second room with non functioning blinds upstairs, one of the king bedrooms upstairs with bathroom attached, shower did not drain and bed headboard was stained, there is a blow up mattress for use if needed - did not inflate, had what I’m assuming to be a hole somewhere, we had to go to the store for more toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags (knowing there are 12 people maybe more supplies would be good), the pool had a missing piece of the concrete and there are no railings or anything so be careful, the tile is very slippery, I went to test the water and I slipped and landed in the pool (no Injuries), communication with staff and owner was interesting, very slow to respond, if at all. We lost power at one point and took awhile to get any information back on next steps to fix the problem. The reason for change to 3 stars is 5 days after we left I was sent pictures of damage to the property with “what happened?” I was appalled as we left the house in the condition we found it. I immediately contacted each of my siblings and they too stated left as found. I responded back asking for more info, that was 5 days ago. No response. We won’t be back.

Beautiful house. Very comfortable stay. Lovely sunsets. Great location. Everything you need for the beach. Our family of 12 didn’t want to leave.

The beds were comfy it was really clean the view was unbelieveable loved it outside furniture comfortable loved that the kitchen was well stocked with cooking dishes pans etc

Pros: -Spacious house with plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfy and the rooms weren’t tiny. Enough bathrooms for the number of rooms. -Beautiful view of the ocean from the backyard. -Well stocked- this house is better stocked than most of the rental houses I’ve stayed at. They are generous with the paper goods and laundry and dishwasher pods. They also have pool toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, swim fins and all kinds of other things you might need during your stay. They have a ton of small appliances too, kettle, blender rise cooker, crockpot, etc. they also have plenty of games. Cons:-The pool was the biggest disappointment for us. The pool is billed as being heated but it’s solar heated so if the sun isn’t out the pool doesn’t get warm. It was 78 and cloudy and the pool was 73 degrees. For context, 80 is really the minimum temp for comfortable recreational use. The pool was a main draw in booking this house for our kids to use but they could only last 5-10 minutes at that temperature. -Overall the house isn’t well kept up. We ran into many things that were broken like some of the grill burners, missing screws on the deck chairs, broken iron, broken pieces of deck on the steps to the pool. -Also there is no oven, but they do have an air fryer. I read this in other reviews so I was prepared but it was a bit of a drawback as we were cooking for 10 people.

Our host was very helpful, the sunsets were beautiful, and the location was a great jumping off point for lots of exploration and adventures, but our favorite part was the lay-out. The house has a wonderful family room that opens onto the patio and pool through large sliding glass doors that make the two areas feel like one living space.

Our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) were so comfortable here! It’s very spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The pool was so nice and clean. And the house was fully stocked with everything you could think of! Plenty of towels, pool toys, high chair, kitchen supplies. We truly didn’t need a thing. It is very close to the downtown area and grocery stores. The host and manager were very responsive and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

You can not beat the sunsets from this house especially from the infinity pool.

Overall, it's a nice property with great views.However, communication with the property manager and host wasn't great as they only responded to initial messages but didn't address my concerns.Cleanliness was definitely an issue. The linens were dirty and needed rewashing, most of the kitchen utensils and plates were also dirty and needed to be put through the dishwasher before being safe to use.There were some safety issues. The showers were very slippery and didn't have large enough anti slip mats. My mother ended up falling and fracturing her foot. The pool also has a piece of stone broken off near the step entrance which is very sharp.I've relayed the feedback to the host and really hope they fix the issues.

Overall it was very nice. The house was beautiful, the view was fantastic and the infinity pool was great. However the first step of the pool was slippery and two of our guests slipped and fell coming out of it, one of whom got banged up pretty badly. The listing said it had a hot tub but it was just a jacuzzi in one of the bathrooms. Also the air-conditioning was only in the 5 bedrooms.

We absolutely loved the location, the pool and the gorgeous views! We were 3 families of four and fit perfectly. We never felt overcrowded. Sharing of bathrooms was no issue, as there are 4 full bathrooms. We appreciated having plenty beach towels and some beach chairs to use during our stay. Overall we all agreed it could use a bit of updating (namely laundry machines and living room couches), but that didn’t get in the way of having a great stay.

Our family of 10 stayed here for a week. The house was great for all of us! Perfect layout, perfect location! We loved how the living/dining room doors opened completely, sliding into the walls, and also had screens. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the sunset view was wonderful! We hated to leave!

I say “yuck” because the house was not clean, appliances were disgusting (refrigerator had corrosion on the outside!), washer and dryer was dirty. The overall house was in need of repair, found centipede in shower, cockroach in upstairs bathroom. Pool needs to be replastered. Advertised there is a putting green and spa couldn’t be found. Pictures are very deceptive, I would never recommend this place and has now made me not trust pictures on VRBO!! Gross and yucky!!

The property has the wow factor and i knew as soon as we drove in and opened the door that we were going to have an incredible time. The property was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and we all really enjoyed the pool. The view of the ocean was awesome and the location was so close and only a short drive to so many activities.Communication was great with the team, and we would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful place for a large group, opens up to great deck of lava rock. Well supplied, easy access and check in. Manager and owner responded quickly to inquiries. Very comfortable place to hang out.

The property itself is stunning. It was a perfect mix of both luxury and comfort. We had a large group of 11 people aged 8 to 80, and all loved the home. The property managers were responsive and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was supposed to be a special trip for our family spreading the ashes of my parents. That went well, but the stay at the house was very disappointing. First night we went to climb in bed and in the sheets were crusted bodily fluids along with black pubic hairs. When we called management in the morning, we were made to feel like we lied and that they didn't believe us, that the cleaning staff said they had changed all the sheets. Manager said "let me figure out how I can make it up to you", well a week has passed and no making up to us was done. The word of the cleaners was taken over the guests. The Livingroom furniture is disgusting!!! It was extremely dirty, stained, and worn out. One of the dryers did not work. The pool broke and was dirty, mirky and when I called the manager he did not respond, I texted him a second time later that day finally he responded with leave it alone someone will come tomorrow. Two days of dirty pool. The manager was responsive our first contact but the next couple was when I had to say "hello, did you receive my text", finally would hear from him. The best part of the place were the views, couldn't beat it but after talking with the neighbors, they too said getting ahold of management is next to none and they continue to hear from other customers staying at this house, lots of dirty, lack of manager contact, and a broken pool, seems to be the same with all customers. We were a family group of 10 people, and we enjoyed this house immensely. Beautiful bedrooms, amazing pool, kitchen is well-equipped. Lots of pool toys and beach gear provided, which was a very nice touch. Pool gets lots of sunshine. Location is good -just a short drive from anything within the Kona area. Neighbourhood is quiet. Families with toddlers, note that the staircase is a bit perilous. Our kids are older so it was fine, but I would have been nervous about it with little ones.

The highlight of this property is the location and views. The sunsets were stunning. The house itself is also incredible, and very modern. The open concept was great. There were a few issues, noted below: 1. I was not aware the house was not air conditioned. The rooms had split units, but the main family room, dining area and kitchen were not. As a result, it was 80+ degrees in those areas, making it a bit uncomfortable. 2. We encountered plumbing issues in two bathrooms downstairs. One sink was completely clogged and the barhrub had some brown water that came up. 3. Some of the pans were not thoroughly cleaned. We had to scrub them as it looked some like oil was burnt on still. 4. We ran out of paper towels mid stay, and couldn’t access more as they were locked up. Outside these issues, which the property manager Jesse did he best to remedy, the stay was fantastic.

Our stay at this property was 5 star the whole way. House was clean and inviting upon arrival. Slight issue with one of the beds, but Jesse the property manager came over and fixed it right away. Plenty of room for our group of 10 plus our grandbaby to spread out and get some quiet time if needed. The infinity pool was cool and refreshing. There are a ton of beach toys, beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. There was even a beach umbrella! You won't be disappointed with your stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. There was plenty of room for our group of 9 (6 adults + 3 kids) to spread out and sleep comfortably. Comfortable furniture overall and we appreciated that the house was stocked with lots of beach gear (umbrella, towels, chairs, snorkel masks and fins, etc.). The pool was just the right size for the kids in our group, and man what a view! Location was also ideal for us - nice and chill neighborhood that felt far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but also just a few minute drive to center of town and multiple shopping complexes. We would definitely consider staying here again during a future visit.

Our multi-generation family loved our stay in this spacious house. The sunset view was magnificent . Everyone enjoyed the beautiful pool. It was well supplied with beach equipment-cooler, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and boogie boards. The kitchen & barbecue was great. We hated to leave!!

Amazing View, Large House, Overall Ok. Here's some issues that would want to bring to owners attention especially this house being a vacation rental... 1st There is a cat population that we counted at least 11+ that is living on property & sleeping on outside furniture leaving cat hair all over & drinking out of the pool, 2nd there is no conventional oven especially for the peoples that likes to cook which is us, 3rd no A/C in main living area, dinning, kitchen & laundry room but when you opened the large glass doors in living & dinning area a cool breeze flowed through with alot of fans on & weather wasn't blazing so it worked out but at least all the bedrooms had A/C so sleeping was comfortable, 4th the pool needs to be re plastered, 5th needs some updating washer/dryer machines were rusted & found alot of termite droppings & it is expected living in hawaii but it can be treated. Overall our stay with a few issues was well rested & we enjoyed ourselves Thank You! Salley Family

This house was perfect for the trip. I especially loved the discovery of the windows sliding into the walls to completely open the living and dining area to the patio and outside. I do wish a 4.5 Star rating was available. This was better than 4 stars but many small items needed attention. No light over house number made it a challenge to find the first night, pool lights never worked, faucet leaked in main bathroom, side sink was disconnected and not labeled, suspected termites under the coffee table. However, the positives were amazing! Beach towels, chairs and cooler are so handy and appreciated. Excellent kitchen as we cooked and grilled almost every night. And loved the neighborhood. First time we went to the shops and beach area in Kona we were all instantly happy to have our house away from tourists. Incredible sunset views to include both ocean and mountain.
