Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location was the perfect fit for our family’s style of vacation. We enjoyed the spacious lanai in the mornings and evenings. During the day we made use of the cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and boogie board while we visited various beaches for snorkeling and swimming every day. The coqui frogs are part of the experience and we slept with windows open and enjoyed the fresh air from the cross breeze through the house. The only time we used the extra fans were on the first night to acclimate. In the evening there is a shade on the lanai that can be rolled down if you need a break from the sun. The view from the lanai is very pleasant and the sunsets are beautiful. Our kids really enjoyed the pool which is a salt water system and not full of chlorine. We had the pool area to ourselves every time we used it. It’s not heated but very refreshing on a nice day or even to cool down from the late afternoon heat if you are not at the beach. I really enjoyed our home away from home and being near the Captain Cook area. I’m not a fan of feeling like another tourist in the hive and this place allowed us to feel like we were living in Hawaii for a week. The kitchen has very basic amenities and we were able to cook our meals as needed. We ate breakfast and dinners at the dining table on the lanai. The washer and dryer were great as we used them everyday for our salty towels and swim suits. The only time we noticed the road noise (can’t see the road at all) was in the mornings on the lanai but that didn’t detract from our soothing vacation. 10/10 would stay here again. The communication is very easy with the Knutsen team and we would use them again in the future.

Condo was exactly as listed with all amenities to fill our needs for the duration of our trip. Check in & out was a breeze with very detailed easy to follow instructions. Very comfortable space for a family of 4. The beach chairs, umbrellas, & cooler were handy. Great ocean views with a huge lanai. Location was within 10 minute drive to all restaurants, shops, beach & grocery store. No AC in late July was a little rough during the day time. Cooled off good overnight. Several fans in the unit provided to help circulate air. Overall very quiet neighborhood and comfortable place.
View was spectacular even though we were not on water. Watched the boats and saw the whales spout!!For the price we paid i think our amenities should have been more. We got the same as if we were only stay a week. The place is very comfortable but does need to be upgraded.
Condo was comfortable and clean. Easy access although directions from the airport were rather convoluted and did not make much sense. Beautiful view! Being seniors with walking issues, having to climb two floors of stairs was very difficult when the elevator was out of use for a week of our stay and the fact that we had to walk a flight of stairs to get to the elevator was not really indicated in the VRBO posting. Over all a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was also nice to have the beach chairs and coolers. The pool was great as well. They had beach towels which was fantastic. It would have been beneficial to have a broom. Also just some spices like salt and pepper would have been helpful. But overall it was a great place to stay and would definitely stay there again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wouldn’t come back. I wasn’t planning to leave a review but I received multiple texts and emails- so here we are! We originally rented this property for 30 days, and checked out the second week in. The kitchen wasn’t stocked with basic necessities (baking sheet, can opener, etc.) so we ended up purchasing our own. What they fail to mention in their posting- is the frogs that sing at night are beyond unbearable. They do leave earplugs on the bedside- so they are aware of what a disturbance they are, but no mention in the listing. We found many cockroaches, and primary bedroom was overtaken with ants. (We used to live on Kaua’i - we are no strangers to little critters, so we are careful to clean after ourselves and not eat anywhere other than kitchen/dinning). When we reached out to management about this issue they responded with “ You can purchase a bottle of raid and we will reimburse you”. Raid is extremely toxic! We were not about to spray that along the headboard! Overall a disappointing stay.

There was no AC, but being very high in elevation made the condo nice and cool for a wonderful stay. It was really clean when we arrived and the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. The lanai was a great area to eat with my family and have coffee in the morning. The sunset and sunrise was amazing. We can't wait to come back!
