Kona Seaflower enhanced health and safety guidelines
With COVID 19, cleanliness is more important than ever. The following information is a summary of our cleaning and sanitation procedures between guest stays.
There is at minimum a 48-hour interval between guests. This effectively acts as a “booking buffer” to block out a space of time after a rental is used to allow time for airborne particles to settle.
For convenience and to minimize person-to-person contact, our condominium is equipped with a lockbox at the entrance door, letting your self-check-in and out.
A shoe rack at the front door is provided and guests are encouraged to leave them when entering condominium.
For our guests and staff, hand sanitizer and antibacterial soap products are provided at key points such as entrance, bathrooms, and kitchen.
Before every guest stays:
• To maximize ventilation and air out the home, our housekeeping staff will open windows while cleaning.
• High touch areas such as door handles, controls and switches, television remotes, fan pull chains, bathroom/kitchen faucets, toilet flush handles, and toilet seats are sanitized in preparation for your stay.
• Hardwood floors are mopped.
• Bathroom tiled floors are cleaned.
• Area rugs in the living room and bedrooms are thoroughly vacuumed.
• Sheets are freshly laundered at high temperatures and placed on beds.
• Towels are also laundered at high temperatures are placed in bathrooms and kitchen.
• All dishes and utensils are cleaned and the dishwasher is left empty.
• Refrigerator, freezer, oven, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker are cleaned.
• Lanai table and chairs are wiped down.
• Showers, bathtubs, and toilets are thoroughly cleaned.
• All trash cans are emptied and provided with a fresh liner.
• Safety equipment (fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and first aid kit) is available for guest protection.
• Housekeeping equipment is cleaned and disinfected before and after use.
• Finally, guests can simply arrive and relax, since we provide starter amenities like hair and body care products, cleaning supplies, and additional stock of basic household items like paper towels, toilet paper, a new sponge, dishwashing soap, and laundry detergent.

Location was great! AC worked wonderfully. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor grills frequently.
Location- GREAT !!!!! ,Condo - GREAT !!!!, A/C -GREAT !!! , Communication with Owner -GREAT !!! Just two things….If you will arrive after sunset it’s little tricky to find this condo.I called the owner and He guided me to the place but small map will do the trick .Numbers on the buildings are hard to find in the dark.This is a problem.Second… it’s tropical area and you will find some bugs upstairs ( the warmest spot in the condo) It’s not terrible but more traps will do job. If I will ever come back to Big Island I will try to make a reservation again to this condo .
Perfect to located close to the pier, king Kamehameha hotel beach, restaurants and bars. The place is also walking distance to groceries and delicious coffee. Everything was clean and well stocked.
We loved the view from the balcony, how quiet it was and yet it was so close to the centre of the village. We would just walk to the pier for a morning / evening swim. The condo was clean, spacious and so well equipped, thank you! To us, it really felt like a home far away from home.
Larry and Joyce have a beautiful condo which was very well maintained and immaculate. The home is well decorated with lovely furnishings. We were accommodated with more than the basic amenities. The location is convenient and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and ocean. The condo area is well kept and quiet. Larry had reached out letting me know we left an item at the condo which I greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay again.
It was difficult to find in the dark. Maybe a well place light turned on saying it’s on the third floor might be helpful. We really enjoyed the property and its location. Beautiful property close to the ocean. We had a wonderful time!
The unit was clean and inviting. We had a great view and saw whales breaching during the early morning from the Lanai. The onsite pool/hot tub was great and we enjoyed behaving access to the bbq's.
You can walk to many restaurants stores, waterfront, etc. It was nice to be able to walk to things, instead of always getting in the car. The unit was very nice and well equipped.
Property is well maintained. Property owner very responsive to any questions or concerns. The property is really well stocked with beach equipment, washer, dryer, laundry soap, kitchen has about anything you need to fix basic meals and location is great for walking into Kailua Village!
We had a pleasant visit celebrating Thanksgiving with families from 3 generations. Only issue with cleanliness we saw daily little cockroaches crawling in & out of the drawers, walls & under the counter in the kitchen. Not easy to keep those nasty bugs away when all your walls are attached to other condo units in a cluster complex.
Everything was perfect for these accommodations! Check in, house rules, cleanliness, perfect location and ideas for things to do in Hawaii were all communicated fabulously!! This place was Amazing!!!
This location was the ideal place for our trip to Kona. Easy access to the beach, with a fantastic view from the patio where we would gather to eat breakfast. Parking option was great as we did travel around with our rental car some. But so easy to just walk to Ali'i Drive instead as well. The hot tub and pool suited nice as well. The hosts are very clear with instructions and communicated well - very supportive. They even have plenty of options to plug in electronics. I honestly could not have picked a better option for the trip of a lifetime. Thank you!
Wonderful accommodation, close to everything we needed, walked everywhere. Overall had a fabulous time staying here from Australia for the Queen Liliuokalani Race. Would highly recommend Larry and Joy’s place would definitely stay here again.
This place is perfect. The owners were easy to communicate with if there were any concerns. The location was awesome easy access to everything in downtown Kona. People with mobility issues please understand it’s on the third floor with no elevator People for long stays it has 34 stairs so carrying groceries (water beer😂) takes a little out of you We had absolutely had no complaints it was exactly what we wanted. The place is clean and we slept in both beds. They were both amazing. The 3 air conditioners are awesome. You get the morning sun on the deck even with the shades pulled down it’s really warm. The table and chairs on the deck are beautiful teak but not comfortable for short or people with mobility problems (they are like bar height table and chairs) We would definitely stay there again. Perfect location for a stay in Kona
This Kona condo is very comfortable. Its location is only a block or two away from Ali'i Drive (shopping) and a small in-town beach. Only about 15 minutes from the airport. Neighbors are quiet, although there seems to be a rash of loud cars and motorcycles that can be heard when the windows are open. Water pressure in the shower is great and the owner promptly helped with one small problem we had when we arrived. A very nice place!
