The unit was well equipped, and clean, fairly recent remodel. The location was great, about 30 feet from the oceans edge. Parking was good, check-in easy, all in all a great place to stay. No negatives. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was adequate...wasnt as I had expected from the online description. Was expecting a more updated kitchen, the sofa smelled, but the views were great. MY MAIN DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THE BUGS THAT CAME OUT ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER AT NIGHT

Host was very responsive & the condo was exactly as described. It really is the perfect location with lovely sunset views every night.

As you can see, the sunsets from the lanai are amazing. Stephanie's condo fit the bill for our vacation. Bed was super comfy, kitchen adequately supplied. Didnt even turn on the television and only used the AC once. Every room was spotless. My husband and i were the only guests but we had friends staying in two other condos. Needless to say, we spent alot of time in the pool and BBQ area. Kona Reef is perfect for that!

Kona Reef our favorite location. Our 4th stay at this complex, first at this unit. Ocean front great, enjoyed lanai, close walking to town, farmers market. Unit was clean, all we needed for 2 of us. Quiet location

Great condo on the second floor with the sound of the waves all day. Great view for the sunset. The whole entire property was nice and clean. Pool area was excellent. It was nice to go for a hot tub and swim after a busy day. You are within walking distance to town and Huggos on the rocks. Will definitely be back.

This condo is very comfortable, well supplied and has a great view out over the beach and ocean. We have stayed in the Kona Reef three times and we will be back!

The view was breathtaking. Kona never disappoints. The location was key. Such a short walk to/from Huggos. We would walk over for dinner/drinks. Pictures and description were accurate. AC worked great during the day when it got hot then we left the door open so we could hear the ocean when we slept. Highly recommend!

The view is exactly as shown online. The entire unit is thoughtfully equipped, especially the kitchen. Pool was never overcrowded and we always found a parking spot somewhere on the property. Close to restaurants, beaches.

We have stayed at Kona Reef in various units over the years. This unit was nicely updated and the owner was very responsive to any questions and issues. The bed was very comfortable. The view and easy walk to town is what makes this place exceptional.

The condo was perfect for the two of us. It had everything we needed. The view was amazing. We saw whales every day! It was nice to be able to walk into town. The pool and hot tub was aldo a bonus.

This location in kona seems busy but once you enter the condo you are removed to the serene oceanside view:)

Leaking shower and disposal not repaired while we were there. Blender leaking as well. Single chair sunk down without adding a pillow underneath the cushion. Bed is small. The view is fanstatic with lovely sunset.

The views from the condo are amazing. The swimming pool area was very nice with lots of seating. Very close to shops and restaurants. We had a great time.

In Kona for the Queen Liliuokalani Race. The condo was comfortable. Beautiful views from the balcony. Unit was comfortably equipped with cooking utensils

The condo was perfect for my 5 days of diving, less than a 15 minute drive to the harbor. It is also an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The condo was clean and comfortably furnished and well-equipped to cook simple meals. I didn't find anything lacking. The views from the balcony, which you can also see from the living room and kitchen, are just as advertised. The only negatives were that it is an old building and a bit dated and the parking fills if you return later in the evening. One night after a night dive both lots were full and I parked on the street in front of the building which really wasn't a problem. All in all this is a great place for a single person or couple and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or stay her again.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the deck and even saw a rainbow after the rain. This property was within walking distance of stores and restaurants which was great!

Very comfortable, excellent location for walking into downtown Kona or sitting on the lanai listening to the ocean and hearing the waves break against the rocks. The condo had everything we needed. We will definitely book this condo again when returning to the Big Island/

First and foremost, the view is the absolute USP of this apartment. It is truly wonderful to sit on the terrace for breakfast or dinner and watch the sunset over the sea. Additionally, the kitchen is incredibly well-equipped and diverse, leaving no desires unfulfilled when cooking. The apartment is clean and well-maintained, and the communication with the owner was smooth as she responds very quickly. However, the big BUT is the air conditioning. It is only in the living room, not in the bedroom or bathroom. Since it got very hot at night in Hawaii, we could hardly get a peaceful night’s sleep in the bedroom on several nights, so we sometimes had to sleep on the sofa in the living room because it was unbearably hot in the bedroom. Moreover, the bedroom window is only equipped with a small roller blind that is semi-transparent. This means that you are woken up by the sunlight every day starting at 5:30 AM. These two points somewhat detracted from our stay. It was a nice stay and I would still come back.

The view of the ocean and sunset is awesome, with the addition of being able to watch the boogy boarders and surfers off to the left from the lanai when the surf is up. The condo was very clean, nice and had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to snorkel masks. The location close to town and restaurants was great, my wife and I enjoyed being able to walk to many dinner spots, especially two of the restaurants within a 5 minute walk for Happy Hour. Stephanie responded quickly to messages and the check in process was very easy. We had a great time and we couldn't ask for more in a condo!

We have had such an enjoyable stay here at Kona Reef! Everything was ready for us when we got here, all of the communication was emailed to us in advance, so that all we needed to do was open the door and enjoy our beloved Kona! The condo was clean and lovely with everything we needed for our stay! Located right on Ali’i Dr.! Hope to stay again soon.Thank you ❤️

The condo is located a few steps from downtown Kona. You are able to walk to the shops and restaurants which is great because parking is very expensive in town. The condo faces the ocean with great views of the sunset. Definitely stay here again.

This condo is perfect for 2. Clean and quiet. Great views of the ocean. Oceanfront so you can hear the waves from the lanai. Beautiful sunsets. You won’t be disappointed. Condo has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit was convenient. Even has binoculars to view all the ocean activities from the lanai. If you have a problem climbing stairs, there’s 5 steps up to the condo front door. Couldn’t ask for more in a condo. I’ll be back.

Condo was furnished with everything we needed. The view of the ocean spectacular. Sunsets are beautiful. We loved being able to walk to Kailua Village and have a choice of restaurants to choose from. Easy access to the rest of the island. Mahalo for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I had a great time at this property. The check-in was seamless. The first thing that hits you when you walk in the door is the crashing ocean waves right off the lanai. Spectacular! We spent a lot of mornings and evenings on the lanai. We really appreciated the quiet surroundings of the complex while also being only a few minutes walk into town. Everything you need is there in the kitchen to make meals and and then enjoy them while watching the sunset. The bed was comfortable and shower was roomy. Parking was easy, and the A/C was much appreciated when it got a little toasty during the day. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay again. Mahalo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kona Reef Condo. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. The selling point of booking it was the deck!! The deck overlooks the ocean, and having coffee daily, watching the sunrise and beverages later watching the sunset was amazing!! The condo is in a great location! Honl's Beach is next door; you are within walking distance of downtown. There is a parking spot available for your rental car. The pool/hot tub area is clean and well-maintained. It was a great place to make our base camp since there were SO many things to do on the big island. We loved our stay and would love to come back!!

We enjoyed our stay, it was close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. It was nice to be able to park, and not have to pay for parking in the Kona area. It was nice to leave the door open and listen to the waves crashing all night. Loved the stay, and we would highly recommend it!
