Good to Know
• Split A/C ductless system was installed 5/15/24 and is featured in the living room and bedroom and can be independently controlled
• Construction Notice: The condominium complex is undergoing scheduled concrete restoration (spalling) work. Guests may occasionally see contractors, scaffolding, or equipment on the property, and intermittent noise may occur Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (excluding major holidays).
• Reservations have been blocked during the period when work is scheduled directly on our building (late August–late September), but work may occur elsewhere in the complex at other times. The unit is equipped with A/C and upgraded windows and doors, which help keep the interior quiet and comfortable.
• To account for these impacts, we have reduced the rental rates for this unit accordingly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as the resort completes these essential improvements to ensure the property's long-term safety and quality.
• This property does not have the capability to charge electric vehicles. Guests with electric vehicles will need to plan their own charging arrangements during their stay.

Kona Reef F11 apartment was perfect - location with lovely sea view, large balcony, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, easy walking distance to restaurants. Communication for check-in and check-out was easy and clear. Everything was exactly as described; highly recommend.
Great view of the ocean. We walked to restaurants and shops every day. Very convenient, clean, and comfortable. The AC was amazing. We would stay again for sure!
Checkin was good and kitchen was well stocked. Klenex would be nice.
Well spent a lot of time in the room. We both caught really bad colds. Still did some things. If we ever come back we’re renting this condo again. Thank you for letting us use your place.
This place was great! Super walkable to restaurants, shops and bars. We spent most of our days exploring the island, returning “home”, and then walking over to get dinner, drinks, or anything we realized we needed from the convenient store. Condo was super clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, ac was lovely, and the washer and dryer were very convenient. Watching the sun go down just feet from the ocean on the loungers on the grass was so relaxing, and the jacuzzi and pool were a nice luxury before calling it a night. Would definitely book again, miss it already so much!
We loved our stay, the location was great to walk into town. Great restaurants close by to sit and relax by the ocean. The condo was clean and met our needs for the long weekend. We had a rental car to go explore the island during the day, but enjoyed walking into town for dinner and drinks in the evenings.
The property's location is excellent. It's within walking distance from the shops yet far enough away to not be caught up in all the commotion. It's also right next to a little beach. The communication with the management was excellent. They were very accommodating and provided a nice welcome basket. The check-in process was also very easy. The only knock is the cleanliness could have been.a bit better.
We enjoyed our stay so much at Kona Reef. Close to everything yet quiet. Will come again
The ocean view was really spectacular and the condo was very clean. There is some significant road noise from Ali’i drive, especially in the bedroom. Parking was convenient and there is an elevator nearby.
Awesome area.
We loved our stay at Kona Reef Condos! The location was excellent with a short walk to coffee and dinner in the morning, and the beach around the corner. This unit in particular has exceptional views and really enjoyed sitting on the lanai drinking wine and watching the boogie-boarders while the sun set. The unit is a bit dated but comfortable and had everything we needed. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast each morning and enjoyed eating out on the lanai. The bed was comfortable and the AC and fan were a lifesaver to keep us cool while we slept. The unit has various beach chairs, snorkle gear, umbrella and cooler. The umbrella was a life-saver when we went to Hanapa Beach for the day. The cooler was a bit small and "well used" (has lost the zelcro to stay closed) but kept our snacks cold while we traveled the island. We attempted to use the fins to swim at Honl Beach next door (which is quite rocky and water shoes would be good to use), but the back strap was broken. The condo was easy to find, easy to access, and we had no issues during our stay. It was a big bonus to have the washer/dryer in unit (as compared to staying at a hotel). Oh, and the pool is also a really nice bonus! All in all, really enjoyed our stay!
Condo was excellent and the listing description was accurate. The ocean view from the Lanai is incredible. Only comment is that something needs to be done with the vacant property on the north side of the complex. The specific unit is a bit difficult to locate oinitially
The condo had AC in both living room and bedroom, all expected amenities and a very easy, contactless check-in process. The parking is tight at the location and can fill up quickly in the evenings. While the condo is in walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Kailua, there is an abandoned lot between the condo and that "boardwalk" area - as well as a nice little beach on the other side of the condo - that there seems to be some homeless congregating. That being said, they were all friendly or kept to themselves and were very respectful of the beach and giving people space, so we never felt unsafe (but certainly locked the vehicle and left nothing in it!) There were some residents of the condos that blew conchs every evening for sunset and who also had a group sunrise yoga and meditation on the beach next door. Very nice community and the pool/grill/waterfront grounds were kept immaculate! We were a little disappointed with the check-out only because the cleaning company hired by the property management showed up between 7:45-8am and started banging on the door (we had a late night flight and planned to sleep in and stay until our 10am checkout). When we answered the door, they wanted to know if we would be leaving soon. We explained our checkout was 10am and we planned to stay until then and they kept pressing to know if we would leave sooner. It was a very uncomfortable and unnecessary disturbance on the last day of our Honeymoon! But otherwise, it was wonderful!
We stayed at Kona Reef F11 for a week and it was perfect. The condo has everything you might need. The bed is comfortable and the A/C in the living room and bedroom works great! The view from the lanai is awesome and we spent every morning out there with our coffee. We will definitely be back!
