Great view/access of the ocean

Condo was clean and adequately furnished. All appliances worked. AC kept condo comfortable. Third floor ocean view was ok. Located fairly close to a couple of small beaches and the core area of Kona. Check-in and out was seamless and easy. Host provided all access codes prior to arrival.

First, the parking situation is horrendous. It is first come first serve and spots are significantly short within the gates. Most nights we had to park outside of the secure gates (behind a shady liquor store) and walk to the other end of the property because the condo is at the far end of the property. The first night we stayed there I had to lug my partners 50lb bag up 3 flights of stairs after walking way too far because we couldn't find the elevator. Our jeep rental was parked outside the gate with a bunch of homeless people drinking outside of the liquor store. Secondly, it borders a property where they have placed about 40 goats. The entire side of the complex where the condo is smelled like a petting zoo. That beautiful Hawaii breeze did nothing but carry the smell of poo. The goats weren't a a particularly large annoyance other than the fact that there were 2 herding dogs guarding them, and on several occasions they were continually barking while we were trying to sleep. The last morning of our "lovely" hawaii vacation we were woken up at 6AM. I had left the window to the bedroom open to listen to the waves to go to sleep and forgotten about the smell and dogs. We woke up to the bedroom smelling/sounding like it did next door. A fisherman was sitting on the wall on the corner of their property egging them on. They barked for about 2 hours straight. Third. This condo exceeded our expectations. I was initially worried about getting groceries nearby without having to drive, but that turned out to be a non-issue. There’s a deli market just a 2-minute walk from the condo with milk, eggs, cereal, Bisquick pancake mix, maple syrup —everything our kids love for breakfast. There’s also a great coffee shop called Berry Bird about a 5-minute walk southeast toward Ali’s Drive, offering an excellent selection of coffee drinks. Just two more minutes past that is a small farmers market next to Living Stone Church, with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, freshly baked bread, cinnamon rolls (they sell out fast!), and cookies. Lastly, the condo is actually much closer to the ocean than it appears in the pictures, which was a wonderful surprise.

The condo was just as describe, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and the host provided basic necessities such as soap, detergent and coffee. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at this property. The complex this unit is located in is beautiful and has two pools, a huge outdoor eating space, plenty of room to lounge by the pool or ocean, and 3 large grills available to use. Unit 336 was everything I was looking for in a trip to Hawaii. We had stunning views of the ocean from the living room and balcony, comfortable and clean bedrooms, and living area, a kitchen for making breakfast and dinner if you wanted, washing machine and dryer, and air conditioning. A lot of places in Kona didn't have A/C and I almost booked a place without it. If you're visiting in July or August, you definitely want a unit with A/C!.The host was responsive to all of our questions and there were tons of beach items available to use as well: beach chairs, pool noodles, cooler, snorkel gear, beach mats. We loved our time here and would love to stay again in the future.

Everything great. Two items to fix. Handle on small bath shower is loose and needs to be tightened. Binoculars are a nice amenity for whale watching except the right lense will not adjust

The location was great! The condo was very clean. The ocean views are spectacular. The kitchen is well stocked for everything you need. Had some beach equipment that we were very happy to have that made the beach days easier. Umbrella, chairs and towels. No cooler. The second bedroom with 2 twin beds is TINY. Not for 2 adults-small children would be fine, and no where to put luggage. The pull out was terrible and old, like sleeping on rocks. But we made it work. Had 2 nights the power went out only in this unit but this issue was revolved quickly . The cable tv also went out and that was never fixed. All minor things but good to know for future guests. Overall it was a great stay and would recommend to others.

This was one of the nicest short term vacation rentals I have ever stayed in! The grounds are beautiful and the rental itself is excellent! We could not have asked for anything better! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

A great property. Very well kept. We had a serious noise problem at night with a smoke alarm. We called the emergency number repeatedly and they answered. They called someone to deal with it but no one came that night. The call back came the next morning. So do not expect any help if it is after hours. You will have to deal with any emergency yourself. Other than that a great property with very nice people to deal with. The unit itself is fantastic as are the grounds. Very quiet and beautiful.

The location of the condo was wonderful with views of the ocean. The condo was also nicely equipped with everything we needed.

My husband and I stayed here 6 days. It is a nice Property and Condo. The bedrooms are small if you have lots of luggage. We were fine since we could use the other bedroom to sore it all. The living and dining area is big and comfortable. The huge covered patio common area between the two pools does not affect the view from your balcony. We would return, but only with two of us. Four adults in there would be cramped. Oh, the shower in the master is really nice with extra spouts!!

Outstanding condo! We’ll equipped & in a beautiful setting. Quiet surroundings were ideal. Loved the views & the pool & beach!
