This two-story, townhome style condo opens into a spacious main floor, boasting a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, and all new appliances. The modern kitchen, with ocean views, overlooks an open living space with large screen TV, and ample seating for the whole family. You will also find a washer and dryer, and spacious half bath on the main floor. Air Conditioning available on the Main Floor & Master Bedroom Upstairs! No AC in the twin bedroom upstairs.
Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom with a walk in shower only (no tub) with updated amenities. The master bedroom offers a large lanai with stunning ocean views, and a cozy table where you are invited to take in the beauty of the Kona coast. The second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds, which can be converted into a King for your convenience. Everything you need for a memorable vacation is here!

The condo was great. The location is ideal, the sunsets were fabulous, and the amenities were plentiful. The condo is well-stocked and we would recommend it to visitors looking for a great Hawaii experience.If I had to nitpick, there were a few minor issues. There were two great professional corkscrews but no wine glasses! Just a couple of beer glasses that we used for wine.Also, and I could be wrong about this, there was no mention that the smaller bedroom upstairs does not have an air conditioner. Just the master BR and living room. Since it's an upstairs unit, this could be an issue during the hotter summer months. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would easily recommend it.
Beautifully remodled property. The second bedroom is a little warm but the rest of the house is well air conditioned. Drank my coffee and watched the sunrise over the ocean every morning from the deck. Within walking distance of downtown tourist shopping area. We listened to a band play one night. Love that they provide snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and beach towels from what others have left behind. Perfect location for people on a budget. And don't have to pay for parking!!
We used to own a property in Kona, so we know the island well. We picked this property because of the views and proximity to town. It did not disappoint! We were able to walk everywhere, and having coffee on lanai looking at the ocean was great. Parking is super convenient, and the unit was spotless and well-stocked. Walua Social is pretty much across the street, and it's a great restaurant for a nice meal. We would absolutely stay here again! Thanks!
The positive energy was felt the minute we opened the door, this unit was so clean, so organized and it has given my family and I the most rewarding memories anyone could have. This place was great. It's a quiet community (other than the coqui frogs). From the balcony you had a great view of the ocean and you could watch the cruise ships come in while you had breakfast. Most of the house is air conditioned except for the room with 2 twin beds. They provided some boogie boards, snorkels and other beach toys. I would definitely stay again, especially if they get a/c in the 2nd bedroom.
We absolutely loved our stay at Kona Mansions! The space had everything we needed, including lots of convenient extras like beach toys, beach chairs, even a cooler bag for lunches on the go. Very convenient to have a key code and not worry about keeping keys on us as we visited all around the island! Parking was so convenient and easy walking to everything around town. Laundry in the unit was a huge perk for us as well! The property manager was very communicative and checked in on the phone to make sure everything was going well.

43 steps to get your suitcases from the parking area to the bedroom. Not fun if you are a senior!! Balcony is off the bedroom so not convenient to eat there to watch the ocean.Within walking distance to most things. No dishwasher.
Amazing property friendly people.
We were very happy with this unit. It was well-stocked with what we needed. We did not cook much, so I cannot comment much on that, but plenty of towels, tp, washer/dryer. The unit was VERY clean. Our property contact was very attentive and even answered a couple of texts I sent outside of regular hours.

The place was great. They had a nice welcome basket and stayed in touch for the entire stay to make sure everything was going well. It is a short walk to down town Kona. We could see the ocean from the living room which was really cool.
It was comfortable love the location
The property was well kept. Two bedrooms were perfect for our family. At first no a/c in second bedroom worried me, but we all adjusted to the Hawaii temps and didn't even use the a/c much after day 3. Parking spot was close to the unit. Unit was clean and we were greeted in person at check in. The pool was a huge hit since the kids were timid of the ocean waves. We would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. We explored a bit more outside of Kona on this trip and found the condo a perfect hub to come back to everyday. Linens and pillows could be updated, and washer has a loud spin cycle. However, it was critical to have a washer and dryer since we packed light. The kitchen was fully stocked with any sort of cooking utensil you may need and the welcome gifts were a nice touch. There was also beach towels, some flotas, pool noodles, and beach chairs and umbrellas. The sunscreen they had was not reef friendly, so I'd suggest against using that at the beach and invest in a bottle of reef friendly sunscreen. The ocean life is incredible and we brought our own snorkels on this trip. The kids loved the chocolate covered macadamia nuts. This would be a great place to book if you're looking for a mix of local activities and day trips out of Kona.
Everything was exactly as stated. The only problem we had was that there wasn’t central air and the upstairs a/c unit wasn’t working when we arrived so our first night was rather miserable sleeping with only open windows and fans. It was fixed the next day but the unit really only cools the main bedroom, not the entire upstairs floor. Well supplied, great location. Walking distance to a lot of places. Would recommend!

This property is excellent! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. They could upgrade a few of the pots and pans and maybe add an electric tea kettle but we had everything we needed and they left a nice goodie bag. The walk to downtown Kona is very easy and convenient. Gorgeous view from the master bedroom deck as well. Property management was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
