Kona Makai 3-205 2nd Floor unit with Ocean Views & Ac

My husband, daughter and myself had a wonderful stay at Kona Makai. The host made the pull out couch bed for my daughter before we arrived. The place was clean and fully stocked. We enjoy the sunset views from our lanai each night. We also loved being able to walk down to the ocean easily and swim in the pool. It’s a central location with lots of shops and amenities close by. We’d go back in a heart beat!

Condo was ok. The bed was small. Kitchen Cupboards need an up grade as most of the doors didnt fit. Cups needed to be replaced as were stained and small. The grounds were great. The pool area was not kid friendly as was the hot Tub. The gym was small and the equipment is in great need of replacement. The management company was awesome!!

Unit of a condo association, so there were rules for quiet time, much appreciated. Pool and hot tub were clean, as well as the property. Our unit was clean and comfortable, with beach amenities provided. Would’ve been better if it was located on a beach, but that’s kinda hard on Hawaii island. Had an issue with the internet which we went back and forth with for a day. But it got resolved with only a tiny fraction of our vacation interrupted

Staff was friendly accommodations were nice and well kept by the property such as hot tub, trash all that jazz. Having the ac was a must it go so hot without it so I would definitely recommend this place.

Place as described. Nice. WiFi didn’t work, spotty at best. Staircase painting for 1 day. Prohibited from coming and going. Monetarily appeased though. Otherwise very nice property.

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. The location was great and very accessible to all the places around. I hope to visit here soon again.Feedback - Would be helpful if you could have better utilities (Soap, Body Wash, and Shower), since people often do not carry those of their own to a vacation rental.

The view of the ocean from the lanai is very beautiful!This unit had all the dishes, pans and appliances needed, and a good selection of towels and linens. It was perfectly clean and Knutson and Associates communicated clearly and kindly from the moment we booked our stay. They are very responsive.Highly recommend!
