Kona Lunapule is centrally located in Kailua Kona, in the Island of Hawaii. It's just a short drive to local restaurants and shops along the coast of Ali’i Drive. This quaint complex features a communal pool and onsite parking. Upstairs you will find 205B; a quiet and comfortable 2-bedroom unit.
Bask in the warm natural sunlight that enters the living area through the lanai sliding doors. Enjoy views of the ocean while you lounge on the lanai. Sit back and drink a cool beverage as you watch the gorgeous coastal sunsets that Kailua Bay has to offer.
There is plenty of space to enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner from the kitchen bar or the dining area. The kitchen comes equipped with cooking appliances and a dishwasher.
The primary bedroom has a California king bed and a full walk-in tub and shower. The guest bedroom has two twin size beds with a full bathroom. This unit comfortably sleeps four people.
Please note: This unit is upstairs and has no elevator and is not fully accessible for those with disabilities. While we also welcome children the lanai is NOT childproof. There is no AC but it has wonderful ocean breezes and fans to keep you cool.

Property was clean and. It was close to the beach . It was very humid though and it is hard to get used too. That was really my only complaint is that you don't get any relief from the heat . All of us are used to air conditioning so it was a struggle that's for sure. Otherwise it was an okay place.
This property was so close to downtown Kona! Perfect location to go into town or on the main road to explore. Condo was clean and perfect size for my group of 4! There was no AC but they provide you with numerous fans. We opened up the screened in windows and sliding doors for more air and it was perfectly comfortable the whole stay day and night. They also provide beach amenities and a cooler that came in hand! 10/10 would stay again!
Great location in Kailua near shops and the beach. The pool area is lovely. The space was quiet and peaceful. Great location for island adventures! The unit is very simple but has all the necessities.
We loved staying in this condo. It was very clean and the neighbors were quiet and freindly. We liked having a close parking spot and plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed. The wonderful breeze that kept the place cool
It was a great place definitely would rent again. Only wish there was AC in this unit. It was hot sometimes. But we used all the fans to try and cool down the house. Other than that it was amazing!

The condo is in OK shape. A few dinged tiles & scuff marks. So akin to a Motel 6. Would have been a fine place to sleep if it hadn’t been for the constant contact with roaches. It’s Hawai’i- bugs exist, but to have them in the utensil drawer, dishwasher, both bathrooms and to have multiple roaches run out of the toaster while using it was less than copacetic . I attempted to contact the people in charge and got silence in return. Will be sterilizing my luggage and everything in them when I get home. DO NOT STAY HERE
If you can't tolerate heat don't stay here! Location is very convenient to Kona town, many places are walkable. Condo could use a facelift but was adequate, just did not cool down at night. Be prepared to be in a bit of a fishbowl with neighbors uncomfortably close close.
The two bed apartment was clean and had a fully supplied kitchen for meals. The unit is quiet even thought there are permanent tenements. There is road noise being close to the main road. Within walking distance to the town of Kona and beaches. The one negative is that the unit does not face the ocean, so don’t get a crossbreeez without running fans. Overall a good place to stay for the money.
Well prepared, clean, interestingly located apartment, easy to use. Nice pool. Small remarks: It is worth repairing (lubricating) the lock on the entrance door because it is difficult to open and close. Also, the gate to the pool closes too hard by itself (it caused minor leg damage).
Beds are comfortable, house had all we needed, pool was nice. I'd stay here again!
The condo is well located, albait not exactly across the street from Holn beach, 4 minutes walk away, but still great. Very clean large rooms, lots of fans to help with the fact there is no A/C, but we were aware and accepted the fact before renting. Very close to the Hot Spots in Kona. Well equipped en the kitchen and comfortable beds and sheets. The only complaint, even though we were not there for that is the TV service has no Live TV. If you like old shows…
Beautiful apartment. Nice pool . Great neighbors . A lot of stores near by . The grill is a plus to bbq . Beauty view. Art gallery . We highly recommend this place

This condo is so convenient to downtown Kona. Having two bedrooms and baths as well as full size washer and dryer made it very comfortable for our family. The view of sunsets from the back deck was amazing, and the pool is lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here!
We enjoyed our stay and it was only a 10-15-minute walk to downtown Kona. It would have been good to know that the Hele On shuttle was free, but we probably would have walked anyway because there was construction elsewhere on the route that made stop times unpredictable. The unit was clean and we enjoyed having the pool. It was a bit hot a couple nights, but otherwise had a good time and saved a little money by making a few meals in the kitchen. Of course we ate out too. It was a great vacation.
The blinds really need to be replaced, all broken and could not close for privacy. Great lanai, pool and barbecue. Very comfortable!

The place is clean and quite large for a place in Hawaii. I did not notice when I booked that there was no air conditioning. Except for the first night, when it was unbearably hot, that wasn't a problem. But I will be careful to check in the future for air conditioning. Also, you should know that one of the bedroom windows opens almost directly onto a fairly busy street. That's why I gave four stars for location and neighborhood.
The condo itself needs some upkeep. Our refrigerator broke on Christmas Eve. We did get a replacement that set in our dining room area. The owners made a decision to try to fix instead of replacing. We were stuck with a dining/living room refrigerator for the remainder if our vacation. 3 weeks. We had knives and pots/pans that were rusted out. Two of the dining room chairs had big tips in them. But Kona was wonderful.
I liked property was near the water. The unit didn't have internet fix before we came.
