Completely remodeled (July 2021) 1st floor poolside studio (2min walk to the ocean) is located in the Kona Islander Inn complex that extends from Kuakini Hwy to Alii Drive. The beautiful tropical gardens with banana trees, exotic flowers and green lawns surround you as you find your way to the Pool, Jacuzzi, and Barbecue area. You may never want to use your car once you settle in because many of the finest restaurants, great dancing and live entertainment are within a short walk. You are also close to shopping, a farmers market, snorkeling, surfing, fishing, and paddle boarding and many other ocean sports.
The room has a good size refrigerator and cabinet space for your groceries, but don't over-shop as you are surrounded by great restaurants. You will appreciate the queen size bed both for its comfort and the 8 drawers underneath for your belongings. There is even a space to tuck away your empty suitcase. The sofa has another Queen pullout bed with the latest design for comfort.
You will love sitting on the lanai watching the cute colorful birds and sunbathers. A short 2 minute walk will take you to beautiful sunsets and the colorful tourist.

USB outlets for charging your devices and Bluetooth JBL speaker clock

Great food, great people sunshine barely rained walk on the sidewalk with a walk through heaven. My wife even liked it so that made it special.
Perfect location if you want to just enjoy Kona town! We loved how close we were to everything. It was incredibly quiet despite being in the middle of town. The parking was easy, even when we needed to park on the street. We would definitely stay there again.
Perfect location to restaurants.
Great location to downtown. This unit was very quiet with a view of the pool. It is a hotel converted to condos. Owner Richard was great to deal with but found the property management not so clear for procedures. There were beach items available and a barbecues by the pool. Otherwise just a hot plate and full size fridge.
Very comfortable and location was perfect. My only issue was navigating the remotes for tv. We are sports fans and watched half fb playoffs in rm.
Nice location. The layout of the house was not great as the bathroom had to be accessed through the kitchen and it didn't have a sink.
This was a nice property, clean and very centrally located in Kona so was able to walk to shops very easily.
This rental unit was perfect for two people. It is on the smaller side but utilizes its space optimally. It opens on a pool and barbecue area shared by three other buildings, which gives a community feel to the place. At night tiki torches are lit around the pool lending a Hawaiian ambiance. The location of the property is perfect for those who want to have easy access to retail and restaurants. Lastly the owner-manager went out of his way to communicate promptly and to provide excellent service even after we checked out.
Clean, safe and a short walk to restaurants, shopping and the water.
We enjoyed this poolside villa. Walking distance to bars and restaurants but still quiet.
Enjoyed our stay. Great location. Walking distance from restaurants. Beach chairs and towels included. Would stay there again.
