Stunning Ocean Views + Designer Designed Kona Home

Lovely house, very clean, with a beautiful view of the sunset every evening. Check in process was very smooth.

Not sure if I missed it in the listing but it was a lower level rental with people upstairs. For a light sleeper like myself it was a bit annoying to hear the footsteps above, especially when trying to sleep. Everything else was great.

This property was perfect. Everything was clean and we had just what we needed. The most amazing part was the large porch/deck where we relaxed and played card games. Beautiful view!!!Check-in super easy. Excellent communication from host. Super comfortable beds. Everything clean.I only have one suggestion and this is an easy fix and is not meant to be negative at all. The shower could use a mat, something grippy because the bath tub was extremely slippery. We ended up laying out a hand towel to stand on to prevent falling. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

We stayed here for 5 days and overall had a pleasant experience. There are a couple of things future guests may want to be aware of when booking this property.The house has two levels, and we stayed on the lower floor. Since it’s a wooden structure, sound carries quite a bit — we were occasionally woken up at night by noise from upstairs. Another thing to note is the frogs — they can be quite loud at night, which made it a bit difficult for us to get a good night’s sleep.On the positive side, the view is beautiful, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. One small suggestion would be to refresh or wash the blankets and pillows on the veranda, as they seemed quite worn.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, just wanted to share these details to help future guests plan accordingly.

This property was great!Highlights:-Super clean-Updated appliances and recently remodeled throughout -breathtaking views, feels like you’re truly in the tropics!Considerations:-there is no a/c so it can get warm/humid inside-you will hear the upstairs neighbors walking and potentially even talking, music, tv, etc. Just be prepared for this -bathroom could use a vent to mitigate the humidity level I’m still giving this property a high star rating because it was everything we needed for the price and would stay there again.

Excellent place to stay very convenient and extremely well equipped! Kitchen bathroom had everything we needed! Great views!! We stayed in the lower unit and the only issue would be is when the upstairs neighbors are even slightly walking around it’s loud downstairs in this unit. So as long as your on the same schedule as you neighbors you’ll be fine. Without a doubt we would rent this again just would request the upper unit. The host was amazing and calls or messages were responded to immediately.

Would stay here again. The setting was superb. The wall of sliding door windows and lanai were fantastic. The place was spotless and the host was quick to respond.

The views were AMAZING and everything was up to date and very clean. It felt so peaceful as if we were in a tropical wonderland! We would absolutely come here again!

A wonderful place to stay. We love waking up every morning and looking at the weather on the coast.

The place is large, airy, and bright, with a large porch (with swing seat!) offering spectacular views of the Kona coast. Inspire of some unforeseen circumstances, the host made every efforts to communicate with us and to arrange alternate help to have the place ready for us. The apartment is close to the airport as well as the only Costco store on the island. Enjoyed our stay!

Our rental was absolutely gorgeous! We had basic kitchen necessities available to us as well as some extra amenities, plenty of space for groceries and dining alongside lots of natural light that brought out the perfect vacation ambiance. The bedrooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, the master came with a walk in closet that held a couple weeks worth of clothes for two, towels for each of us, and our own private patio space on the lower level. Bathroom was clean and we were provided with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, small face towels, the works. The shower doesn’t close all the way but it wasn’t an issue with the overhead shower head - also had the option for a detachable shower head and bath faucet. Our view was perfect for watching the sunset, spacious for relaxing and even had a spot where we could enjoy local take out. If you’re staying on the lower level, you’ll sometimes hear the upstairs renters moving around but it was never obnoxious; but you’re also right next to the laundry room (communal + detergent pods provided) which contains storage for a plethora of beach gear: chairs, floaties, coolers, beach bags, snorkels, flippers, water shoes (a godsend!!!), etc. We loved the location since so many things were nearby and an easy drive: Snorkeling with Manta Rays with Marine Life Charters - about a 20 minute drive Downtown Kona shopping - about 15 minute drive Kona beaches - about 15 minute drive

It was a good stay home was nice and clean and the check in process was smooth.

We had a lovely stay, the property is beautiful and very clean! Stunning views of the ocean and the laundry room was a massive bonus, especially as it is kitted out of its body boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs etc! A great stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Just an FYI, the toaster could do with being replaced but no complaints from us at all. Thanks for having us.

Clean, spacious with amazing views. Property manager was great in communication and accommodated our check out request which made for a comfortable week long stay.

We had a fantastic experience staying at this home. It truly made the vacation. The space very clean, well appointed, and equipped with everything needed to make the stay easier. It also had a variety of recreational items that made going to the beach or anywhere on the island stress-free. All of that, combined with the views from the porch and the quiet neighborhood made the stay both cozy and relaxing. The photos of the space accurately reflect how amazing it is, and we felt it was a rare find among vacation homes. Can’t wait to come back sometime in the future.

We had a wonderful stay here! I was a little nervous about no AC but being up the mountain it was beautiful. When we lost power for a short time they immediately reached out to us to keep us informed. If I’m ever back on the big island again I will definitely stay here again. My nephew loved our friendly balcony geckos.

This place is amazing. Modern and beautiful. The lanai was amazing. Loved this beautiful place. We could hear the upstairs tenants walking around late at night, but that was minor. It’s like a rainforest getaway with beautiful views.

We stayed 4 nights and explored various Kona-side beaches and hikes from this location each day. Exactly as pictured and described. We would definitely stay again if returning to the Big Island.

Very clean! Perfect size for family of 4 to come back to and rest every evening after going out to explore the island every day. Very convenient to airport. Very relaxing front porch and very well stocked with all our needs. Great selection of beach chairs and swimming gear for us to use while staying as well! Highly, highly, highly recommend this place. Thanks again for helping us make great memories on our first trip to Hawaii!!

Beautiful! Very clean, roomy, and inviting. Beds are super comfortable with top notch bedding. The closets are roomy and come with plenty of hangers. Large living area with great furnishings. The kitchen is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sunset. Although beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and a little soft-sided cooler are available, chairs are older, one of the umbrellas was broken (which we didn't find out until trying to set it up on the beach), and the cooler was ripped. Boogie boards were great. Still, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful place. Everything was as described. Clean, modern with a great view over the ocean! We can highly recommend and would rebook whenever we come back to big island.

My family and I had an absolutely amazing time at this property! The morning sunrises, and evening sunsets off the massive deck/porch were unbelievable.We stayed in the lower unit of the two - but didn’t even notice the upstairs neighbors. It was incredibly clean, newly renovated, and well equipped for us to cook dinners in when we weren’t out on the town. Not too far from town, not too far from our favourite beach. The host had also provided a lot of great beach equipment (snorkels, boards, umbrella, chairs) that we used almost on a daily basis.Only regret is that we didn’t book this for our entire trip. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re on the island.

What a great place! We loved the evening sunsets on the great deck. Easily assessable to what we had planned for our days in Kona.

Property is clean and modern- feels very peaceful. In great location-15 minutes from the airport and downtown. Porch was beautiful. This is as advertised.

Fit our families needs perfectly! Great view, host was very responsive, and the beach gear was a nice added bonus. We stayed in the lower level, it can get a little noisy depending who’s upstairs, but overall it wasn’t an issue for us.

The unit was very airy, spacious and the view spectacular.No consideration for the experience seemed spared. Location was great, when hot days ran too hot on the coast, escaping to the rental was a fantastic cool down with vibrant sunsets. The kitchen was well supplied, bathroom too. We could not be more pleased.

Modern, clean design unit with fabulous views. Watching the sunrise and sunset from a covered deck that runs the whole length of the place is the best part of the house. Kitchen supplies were fine and beds were comfortable. Being up the hill from the coast keeps the place cool without needing a/c or fans. I just wish thee were dimmers on all the lights so it wasn’t so bright at night. Would definitely stay here again.

This property exceeded my expectations! The home was lovely and the outside deck was simply perfect. The host was very responsive, and we loved being able to watch the sun set from the front deck. Fabulous property all around!

We we overwhelmed when we walked into the property. It was absolutely beautiful. Every detail has been thought out and beyond what one would expect. The apartment was beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The view from the oversized balcony was worth the price of admission alone. Not only did they supply beach towels and chairs, but also umbrellas and even beach toys specifically for kids. There were TV's in both bedrooms - although not sure why one would stay home when they could be out exploring the island. We would highly recommend this property as it was a 5 star stay.

Lovely accommodation. Beautiful view! Everything you need. Only downside is people above us were very loud.

Overall our stay was fine. The thing that caught us off guard was the noise in the neighborhood with lots of traffic up and down the steep hill, and the amount of critters and insects making noise 24/7. That's just the nature of tropical climates I suppose, but without AC in the home, windows/doors had to be left open for a breeze, and with that, all the noise from the outside. Sleeping was a little challenging but the house itself was very well kept and clean. No fan in the bathroom for shower and such. It was nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella to use though! And having laundry on-site was handy. Overall good stay.

This was perfect for my wife and I (with an extra bedroom to spare). Nicely appointed with a deck perfect for sunset viewing. I would highly recommend.

Really appreciated the hospitality of our host. She was super responsive and they provided a very clean very comfortable home in a great location overlooking Kona. We loved the sound of the frogs at night. The altitude of that location it really cools off nice at night and you can sleep really well. The kitchen was well equipped, clean, and very nicely designed. The bathroom Was great and everything worked really well. It was so great to have all the comfort of home nearly and it’s such a great price! Thank you so so much for sharing your home with our family!!!

We enjoyed this house so much the first time, we decided to come back this year. Before, we were in the upstairs unit, this trip we were downstairs. The upstairs had been unrenovated the first time, but we thought it was lovely nonetheless. For this trip, we enjoyed the fully renovated downstairs unit and wow! Spectacular change! This property is on the slopes above the hot, flat lava fields that Kona proper sits on, so it's at least 10 degrees cooler and much wetter, a welcome relief after a day of rambling around the town. The view from the balcony lanai is stunning. The unit was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well-equipped for the simple cooking we did and the bed was very comfortable. Our only gripe was the family upstairs. There was a young boy who decided he had to run around the unit, dashing from room to room. His parents didn't stop him and they, themselves thumped around like elephants. This continued, even after we complained to the manager, who asked them to be considerate of their downstairs neighbors. We endured this for almost a week. The takeaway lesson--we will specifically ask for the upstairs unit, renovated or not! But, all in all, we loved this place and will make this our go-to home away from home when next we visit Kona.

Originally we booked the property only for 3 nights but once we landed and found how close enough for things that we wanted to do we extended the stay by another 4nights. Property was clean and the host was awesome! We will stay here again!

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful sunsets and view from the Lanais. Close to Kailua Kona. Great place to relax and cool down after long days at the beach. Beds are comfortable and clean. Beach equipment and a washer and dryer were helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Pictures don’t do it justice- this house is stunning inside and out- The everyday sunset is magical- my teenage girls had an opportunity to take amazing portraits…. The neighborhood gave my husband and I an opportunity to do our morning hikes every day. Great place to stay. Close enough to it all but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet.

This place was great for 2 people. Well situated between most places we wanted to go in Kona, close to shopping if needed. Would highly recommend. Would recommend some privacy shades over the sliding glass windows along the deck if possible in the future. Definitely check this place out.

This was one of the best homes we have stayed at on vacation! So clean and in a great location for everything. The views were stunning and so relaxing to sit out on the deck and soak up the sounds and views of the island. They had everything we needed in the home and for the beach! Highly recommend and hope to return when we get back the big island!

The location was great for our stay on HI with easy access to the beaches, Costco, 15 minutes to Makani Golf course and the the airport. The home was spacious with comfortable beds and the lanai was a great place to unwind and enjoy the sunset. We liked being up in elevation which provided cool nights for sleeping. A big thank you to Laura, Martha and Kona. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was great. Host thought of everything. Toilet was clogged, host had it fixed within hours. They even offered us a full refund when the three guests above us were stomping and keeping us awake. Super clean, even by my high standards. Great location. Fantastic view. So comfortable. Literally perfect. Don’t miss out.
