Host was awesome and responsive. Amazing place to stay. Well furnished and super clean. Just be sure to check your messages in the app. The emails I received had slightly different instructions. Just use the app and this won’t be an issue.
Overall a good looking condo but patio door has no locking mechanism. Washing machine is extremely loud. Couch was soiled and broken. Three of the kitchen chairs were in disrepair. The fridge handle is broken and taped together. Kitchen accessories were below expectations. Not what we would expect for price paid.
Relaxing and next ti.e will rent a car to do more site seeing around the island.
the home was perfectly located and close to everything we did over the weekend. We joked after we got into the car and parked on Ali’i drive when we realized we were so close and in walking distance. We didn’t use the pool amenity but the unit is right next to it so that is awesome. Be sure to screenshot your information before heading in. If you’re not connected to wifi, service will be spotty in the area.
One-bedroom condo just a few blocks from main tourist section of Kailua Kona was clean and convenient. Kitchen was well-equipped for our week-long stay. And bathroom was large with plenty of linens. As it is on the bottom floor, there is limited natural light, but if you're not spending large chunks of your day in the condo, not a big factor. Willi was easy to communicate with and answered our few questions quickly. Note, the bed is comfortable, but mattress is soft--in case you are more accustomed to or need a firmer mattress. Also, the back slider doors do not lock, which made us a bit uncomfortable even though someone would have to climb a high fence to access the back porch and slider door.
Lovely property with close proximity to many wonderful spots in Kona. Having access to the pool/hot tub and grill area was a real plus! And the private lanai was gorgeous. Great to have access to beach supplies as well.
