The apartment was clean and had things for the beach in the closet, dishes and pans for cooking, a lovely place to sit outdoors and it was close to some attractions. It's only problem is it has a Kuerig coffee pot which made it tough to drink the Kona coffee in the morning. Hopefully they will think to add a reusable coffee cup pod. Also the pictures make it seem bigger than it was. Still I would stay there again.
I do not recommend this place. We ended up leaving 3 days into our stay. There was cockroaches inside the house, one crawed on to my pizza when I went to grab another slice (this was my final straw), no ac, no laundry, most of the windows had broken panels letting bugs in, the walls and the ceiling are paper thin you can hear everything the neighbors are doing and talking about at normal talking levels, the house is very dark, all the dishes needed to be washed before using them, it very hard to find on the maps and has no outside lighting so if you come in when it's dark out good luck and last there was not enough hot water to take a full shower let alone fill the bath for my son. The only positive I have to say is the bed was comfortable, the appliances work (microwave, fridge and Krueger coffee machine) and a spot to park.
It needs help - well it took us 2 1/2 hours to find a place because they had the wrong address written down. They also had the wrong code to get in the door. We couldn’t get in the door until we found out that the assistant manager lived upstairs no hot water for days will not never come back here
This place was alright. However, I would not stay here again. Unfortunately I have. More negative things to say then positive. Let’s start with the positive. I was really happy with the the items available to use in the storage closet. Such as, chairs, an umbrella and beach towels. I liked the easy access to the property with the keypad entry and we had access instructions well within the time we needed. The appliances we used worked just fine and there was plenty of hot water and enough space for three people. The lanai was tiled well and I liked the drying string hung out there too. Ok, for the negative feedback, here goes. Half of the lightbulbs were burnt out. It was so dark. I was using my phone flash light to dig through my suitcase. If i had no light, then the cleaners had no light-how did they get the room clean? The bed in the master is really big, that was kind of nice but we could not access the closet on the other side of the bed, so in that small room you have a bed, two suitcases on the floor and no room to walk. In the dark. Because there is no light. I love coffee and I was pleased that there was a coffee machine that worked! However, no filters. I discovered there were no filters by checking around and seeing if maybe the coffee machine had a built in one. It didn’t. I knew because there was someone else’s grinds that I found in the coffee machine crusted in the bottom. Someone added the grounds thinking it was a built in filter then left them. This was not cleaned up beforehand. So again, the cleaning was not great and I was extra irritate because I was under caffeinated. The clothes line was super cool being that there is no washer or dryer. However, only one clothes pin. That made me laugh. We stayed a full week and were provided only three towels to shower with. No washer. No dryer and three people showering every day. It’s a lot of hanging towels on the one line where you have other stuff so ultimately its a lot of using the same damp towel that never fully gets dried. Ok, last one although there’s a few more nit picky things. The pull out bed was in my top 3 worst beds ever. My kid had to sleep on the bed and woke up like an 80 year old cement worker every day. I feel bad to report such negativity, we were great full for the space. It did the job but honestly, it made the first leg of our trim stressful. I didn't realize how stressful all the things made our life until we arrived at our second VRBO and it felt like a relief. Best of wishes moving forward -lacy
3 of us stayed comfortable for a few days. Place was clean and had everything we needed.
The unit was clean from what we could tell for the brief time we were inside. Our interactions with the property management team were pleasant. However that’s where the positives end, and the negatives begin. No air conditioning in the unit, and it was miserably hot from the moment we walked in the door. No privacy, we could hear the upstairs neighbors on the deck like they were sitting in the same room with us. (They were talking in a normal tone) Less than ideal neighborhood for vacation rental. I would like to post pictures for anyone considering this rental to make a more informed decision. I think the picture of the "on-sight laundry" sums it up very well. The pictures on the ad are not inaccurate but they don’t show everything. My wife and I were there for only a half an hour and walked away from a substantial amount of money rather than be miserable for the rest of our vacation. I have written a more detailed, very similar review on the Evolve property website. This has cured us from ever using VRBO again. We will stick with brand name resorts and hotels because we know what we are getting for our money.
Not impressed. We paid good money for what was little more than a down stairs apartment that had mouse droppings on the countertop, next to the cabinets, and on the night stand. The warming drawer of the oven had the start of a mouse nest too. We could hear them eating during the night. Also, the toilet was loose and felt like it was going to buck us free every time we leaded to wipe. We also listened to a domestic disturbance close by and spoke with the police one night. Finally, the sound proofing between our bottom floor room and the upstairs apartment was non existent. We could hear every word and move that they made. Not worth your money at any price.
Everything was good except there is no address on the main house hard to find and the maps don’t help cause it sends u down a small back road other then that the stay was good
Great way to relax
We had a great stay. Richard was very hospitable. Room was very clean and well stocked with supplies. Full size fridge and beach supplies were great too. Had a little trouble finding the unit when we arrived, but other than that we had a really nice time.
