Enjoy a great view of the ocean and pool. An elevator makes for easy access from the ground floor. Amenities include high speed wifi, perfect for video chatting or zoom meetings for those who work remotely while enjoying being in Hawaii. Kona by the Sea has 2 pools. One is a saltwater pool situated right on the waterfront. Additional on-site amenities include a spa and barbeque area.
Set along Kona's notorious black lava shoreline, Kona by the Sea opens up to stunning views of the Pacific, creating the backdrop for a dream Kona Beach Vacation. In a popular location for snorkeling and surfing, this condominium resort is within ideal proximity to must-do Kona activities, while still offering a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
Driving is optional. Unless you are planning to explore the island during your stay, you won't necessarily need a vehicle. The Kona Trolley (Hele-On Route 201) is a convenient, open-air transit option connecting Kailua-Kona and Keauhou via Ali'i Drive. The trolley runs seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with buses arriving approximately every 60 minutes. The general one-way fare is just $2.

Great location, friendly staff, would stay here again
Best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a VRBO. We stayed over 2 months and it had everything we needed. Will actually buy the same brand of pots and pans and the mattress for the condo we're buying later this month. Tracy was easy to deal with in getting a fan replaced and issues with the internet/TV situation both of which were solved quickly by lovely gentlemen. We received a late checkout (additional two hours) which we greatly appreciated. Pool area was enjoyable. One thing we'd suggest is new patio furniture, very very rusty and it made the lanai less inviting than it could have been.
Loved the condo and the property. Furniture was great and comfortable. We may have left a small baggie with our dental mouth guards in it. If this is found can you please let us know. We will defibately be back
We have a lovely stay…… it’s an older condo, it could use some freshening up.
The condo was exactly as described and very clean. Owners did a great job of answering any questions we had and were quick to help us when we locked our keys in the room. The only issue we had was the constant construction going on in the building as well as across the street. Most of the windows are the tilting glass panes therefore they do not do a good job of keeping out sound. For the month we were there, we were woken up almost every morning quite early . Other than that we had a great stay:)
The property manager, Taina was awesome! She went over and above to address a broken coffee pot and bought a new shower curtain as well as a mattress topper ( the mattress was not for 2 adults). Our 2 month stay was spectacular!
Comfortable with everything you need. It's a little unfortunate to have to pick up the key card at another location, but they made it work just fine, even with a late check in.
We loved the view and location. The condo was great. We did end up leaving a medical device and I need to give you a new visa number so you can ship it. Carolyn
