Let the soothing sound of the sea lull you to sleep. An elevator conveniently connects the ground floor to the unit. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for video chatting or Zoom meetings, making it an ideal choice for remote workers. This is a minimum 30-day rental.
Kona by the Sea is an absolute oceanfront property and features a large freshwater swimming pool with a generous sunbathing area. Additionally, there's the Historic Alii Saltwater Pool, conveniently located right on the waterfront. Onsite amenities include a spa and a barbeque area.
This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler for guests' use. While some snorkel gear may have been left by previous guests, we don't provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear can ruin the fun, so it's best to rent your own equipment during your stay.

The first minute we arrived, we ended up on the balcony looking at the waves for an hour.... This place is perfect! Right over the water, with a big clean room, and everything we could possibly want. The kitchen is bigger than my own house, and it has everything. (even the view) Gigantic bedroom and living room. Did I mention that they take care of everything - We walked along the beach, watched the surfers, big swimming pool. We are coming back here for sure.
Our stay could not have been nicer. They were so thoughtful - they had a welcome basket in our room ready for us when we arrived, with everything to make it a true Hawaii experience! The balcony really is ocean front - we had the sunset and our daughter could even see fish. Then she could run down to the tidepools and explore some more. My husband and I had a wonderful time, slept to the sound of the ocean, and woke up refreshed every day. We feel lucky we found this bit of paradise!

Everything we need is right here! A big kitchen, our own private balcony right over the beach, and lots to do. And the location is a pleasant walk into town, and there are is a farmer's market across the street on weekends. They are very thoughtful, and took care of everything. We have already made plans for our next stay in the winter.

This is the very BEST one-bedroom unit at Kona by the Sea !! It is at the very end of the building, practically over the water, with a tremendous view of the beach, the surf, and the ocean. My wife and I have been coming here for 7 years and we never had such a good place. Go for a unit that is NOT operated by Aston, so you have less to worry about. This rental company really has their act together, and they know what you need to have a great time. This unit has a good kitchen, with all of the appliances and kitchen tools. It has a big bedroom, and two bathrooms. The Living Room has a separate desk with really fast internet. The furniture is practically brand new. The carpet and everything were spotless - if you want things CLEAN, this is the place ! It has a Washer and Dryer - big refrigerator - great AC that works well. Park your car in the garage. Nice swimming pool and jacuzzi with friendly people from all over. There is plenty of room on the generous balcony - we sat there for hours and watched the surf, and ate most of our meals out there. This place is perfect for a one bedroom -- you will not regret it !
We have visited the Big Island many times but rarely with the amazing view and refreshing sound of the water so close. This rental offers a lovely open floor plan for the kitchen, living room out to the double door lanai, making it feel even more spacious than it is. The kitchen is nicely appointed and fully stocked with almost everything I have at home. New appliances-everything in good working condition. Both bathrooms updated and spacious as well. Easy in and out keypad so no worries about who has the key and where are they or when are they coming back! Would happily stay here again. Mahalo and Aloha till next time

This is a BIG unit with a lot of space, and a big kitchen as well, and its own covered balcony. And everything is really clean - you can tell when the owner looks after things. The first day we arrived, we spent over an hour watching the waves come up on the tide pools and the surfers and the fish swimming in the waves. This unit has everything for entertaining and relaxation. This place is away from the crowds and traffic, and they have a really big beachfront as well. This is a perfect getaway for a couple.
