Property Overview
This is a beautifully renovated 2nd floor (Townhouse). Spectacular view from the 600 sq. ft. lanai. Located just minutes to the beach and downtown Kona. Private entrance & ALL NEW furnishings. The lanai on this home is absolutely breathtaking! Both bedrooms have sliding glass door access to the patio in addition to the living area and dining area. Take your yoga mat and enjoy some quiet mornings listening to nature or enjoy Kona coffee in the morning and glass of wine at sunset. Every guest will have access to our ocean equipment including 2 snorkel sets and 2 beach chairs, and a boogie board. Aloha Rejoice has consistently ranked extremely high in reviews for another rental property cite over the last three years with at least 65 reviews averaging 4.8 out of 5 stars. We are excited to now make Aloha Rejoice available to the VRBO community.
ABOUT ALOHA REJOICE:
Aloha Rejoice is a 2 bedroom, one bathroom town-home, with living area, dining area, and full kitchen. It is located on the top floor and accessed though a private entrance. Each bedroom is equipped with a queen bed. Aloha Rejoice was renovated in January 2016 and outfitted with all new furnishings, paint, flooring, appliances, and electronics.
WI-FI: Free Wi-Fi is provided.
BEDROOMS: Each bedroom has a brand new bed with a Tuft & Needle mattress. If you have not heard of this amazing mattress company I highly recommend that you check them out at You will sleep amazing! Fresh brand-new linens, hangers, closet storage, lamp, nightstand, alarm clock, towels, and beach towels are provided. Both the king and queen bedrooms have private access to the Lanai.
BATHROOM: Enjoy the beautifully renovated bathroom complete with mirror, vanity, toilet, tub, shower, and fresh brand new rugs. Hand soap, shampoo, and body wash are provided for your convenience.
KITCHEN: The kitchen has everything you will need to enjoy a meal on the outdoor lanai. It includes brand-new stainless steel appliances (the refrigerator is amazing), microwave, dishwasher, toaster, crock-pot, coffee pot, and a shared outdoor barbecue grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with wine glasses, cups, mugs, plates, mixing bowels, pots/pans, measuring cups, utensils, etc. To save on buying bottled water we suggest using the filtered water from the refrigerator.
LIVING AREA: The living area has a very nice sofa with a chaise lounge for relaxing while enjoying a movie in the evening (it is a sofa bed in case you need some additional sleeping space). The television is a 40” LED Smart TV where you can enjoy movies on Netflix though our free Wi-Fi. Cable service is not provided. We have also provided our favorite resource for the Big Island, “Big Island Revealed.” Use this guidebook to enjoy all the amazing sites, restaurants, shopping, and hidden adventures that the island has to offer.
LANAI: The beautiful wrap-around lanai is equipped with a luxurious seating area for enjoying the beautiful Hawaiian outdoors. The front lanai also has a quaint seating area with two chairs. The back lanai has a full sized table and four chairs to enjoy dining outdoors.
BARBECUE GRILL: The barbecue grill is shared with the downstairs unit. It is located on the first floor on the back patio. We ask that you kindly clean the grill after each use. Please take appropriate care of the grill and ensure that the gas is turned off after each use. An extra propane tank is provided in case you need it. Instant message or call Nate for the location of the replacement propane tank information.
BEACH EQUIPMENT: We have supplied you with snorkel sets, beach chairs, and umbrella.
OUTDOOR SHOWER: The outdoor shower is open and shared with the downstairs unit. Please rinse off in your bathing suit after a long day in the sun and sand prior to entering the home. There is a drying rack available for use to dry your wet bathing suits outside. This helps keep everything clean.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Nate's comfortable, pleasant rental. The unit is pretty, fresh, well-maintained, roomy, and stocked with both the right basic amenities (such as bath and hand soap, dish soap, a clean dish sponge, a truly comfortable mattress--items some other VRBO units omit or fall down on) as well as great extras, such as snorkel gear and an electric kettle (loved that!). Everything was wonderfully clean. The almost-wraparound lanai really expanded the unit's space and was a lovely place to sit. Nate is incredibly prompt and very clear and detailed in communications. When we encountered a small issue, Nate resolved it immediately (even though he was an ocean away!), with no effort at all required on our part other than alerting Nate to the issue. The only reason I didn't give the property five "out-of-this-world!" stars is to mitigate other renters' expectations about the location: This is a very pleasant but modest spot in a snug residential neighborhood, where the houses are so close together that you will hear neighbors chatting into the evening (and, at least this weekend, carousing late into Friday night), or making coffee early in the morning. For us, this provided a sense of being in a real place inhabited by real people; but renters seeking to "get away from it all" should be aware. Kudos to Nate for being so responsive and just plain nice.
