This ocean view condo with a generous lanai at the Island Surf resort in Kihei is just steps away from amazing beaches and in the perfect location for enjoying all South Maui has to offer. Open the gigantic sliding glass door to soak in the sounds of the beach and the park across the street, or keep it closed in quiet, air conditioned comfort as you marvel at the Pacific Ocean’s ever changing beauty.
The living room includes brand new queen sofa bed with comfortable memory foam, and AC unit. The kitchen has appliances including stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The condo is fully stocked for your comfort and includes all the necessary kitchen tools for preparing meals in, linen and towels, dishwasher, washer/dryer inside the unit, a telephone for free calls to the US and Canada, free WiFi, and cable TV. The master bedroom has an AC unit and all new bedroom furniture, including brand new king size luxury bed & mattress for your sleeping comfort. There are boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and chairs for chilling on the beach. This unit sleeps up to four guests. This home is popular and receives many repeat guests. The resort has a swimming pool, 2 BBQs, and retail stores on the first floor. This condo includes a very convenient private parking lot. However, it is walking distance to everything you need to enjoy the incredible Maui lifestyle if you choose not to rent a car. A public bus system is a short stroll down the road if you want to venture out and explore the island further on a budget.
Across the street to the west your view encompasses Kalama Park, the premiere ocean spot in Kihei for surfing and stand-up paddling. Across the street to the south is Maui Wave Riders where you can rent surf boards, stand up paddle boards, and get lessons on either if this is your first time.
When your day of activity is done, sit on the large lanai with dinner from one of the dozens of restaurants in walking distance and watch the gorgeous sunset skies. During whale season, you will be mesmerized by these magnificent creatures frolicking just off shore. All year round, you will be treated to the sight of local fishermen pulling a fresh catch out of the water and the tantalizing aroma of experts plying their BBQ skills in the park.

Very clean
My main reason for traveling to Kihei was to observe the humpback whale migration and the ocean view from this unit was exceptional!!! There were days that I watched six separate whale groups in the ocean from the lanai! The unit was the perfect size for 2 travelers, very clean, and very easy to get around Kihei without a rental car. The owner was very easy to reach and responsive. I reached out via VRBO message early in our stay just to let her know the toaster wasn't working and that same day a brand new toaster was at our door. Excellent rental in all ways and I can't wait to return next whale season!
We really enjoyed our stay. Location was very handy. The condo felt safe and family friendly. We had all the things we needed.

Great little place. Very comfortable, strong quiet a/c, comfortable bed, well stocked. Everything as described. Great location, so much right there in walking distance. South Maui Gardens out the back door is the spot.
Perfect location to enjoy south Maui beaches. Dining is nearby, easily accessible, easy parking and amazing sunsets from the balcony.
Linda’s condo was in such a perfect location. Nice view of the water, quick access to all the best beaches in Kihei and walkable to places to eat and drink. There were some surprises during our stay such as construction and building maintenance which I wish we were informed about ahead of time. But all things considered it was still a great stay!
This property is as pictured. The condo is clean and location is perfect. It’s close (walking distance) to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants, coffee shops. There’s a surfing lesson place and lots of food trucks nearby. It was perfect for a family of 4. I would definitely rent from Linda again.
First time visiting Hawaii and was not disappointed with the location. There's a lot of construction going on but ease to beach locations was perfect. I will say that I had to wash all silverware, a few of the dishes and the frying pans prior to use. Also, need to take care of the curtains in the bedroom as the hall lights basically keep the bedroom bright throughout the night. Nothing that will keep us from returning.
If you are looking for a grand resort in Waimea, this is not it. But if you want clean, comfortable, well stocked, good location with ocean views…THIS IS THE PLACE. Stayed 8 nights first week of February. Charming older building in the heart of Kihei. Perfect size for couples. Spent every morning having coffee/breakfast on the lanai watching the whales jump and play. Food trucks and several restaurants a short walk away (Happy Belly was a favorite). Grocery store 10 min walk. There is a community gardens to the north of the building and most nights there would be a show or concert. Can open the door to the unit and listen quite well or attend the gardens for a small fee. Linda was very easy to communicate with. Thank you Linda for allowing us to use your condo. Hope to stay again someday.

The apartment was perfect. Really liked the key pad so we didn't have to carry keys. Very clean. We watched beginner surfers and whales from the lanai over morning coffee. The only thing some people may care about is the pool doesn't get much sun so doesnt seem to be used much. We were able to walk to all the Kam 1,2,3 Beaches. Also central to many restaurants and bars. Foodland 2 blocks away. Easy to get a parking place. Thank you very much. We recommend your place to people!
We enjoyed our stay at Island Surf. You are in the heart of a lot of walkers, paddle boarding, parks, skateboarders and very nice locals at this location. We thorough Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching Volleyball every morning and evening. If you love being outdoors in beautiful weather, then go to Kihei!! Very good accommodations, clean and everything you need for your stay! Will definitely go back.
Our view from the lanai was beautiful! Restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, and some shopping within walking distance. Love Kihei!!
