Property Overview
Aloha, and a warm welcome to our spacious (818 sq ft) condo located in the Kamaole Sands Resort located in South Kihei directly across the street from the famous Kamaole Beach Park III. The condo is located in building 4 on the third floor, away from the busy part of the resort, offering lots of privacy. Enjoy beautiful mountain views from the bedroom and partial ocean views from our large, shaded lanai. There are tile floors throughout and two newly remodeled bathrooms. There are air conditioners in both the living room and a portable a/c in the bedroom, plus ceiling fans to keep you cool. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a large Smart TV in the living-room, plus a 43 inch smart TV in the bedroom, both with free cable.

Kamaole Sands has been voted the "Best Condominium Complex on Maui" three times by the travel industry. This upscale property is located in beautiful, sunny South Kihei. The complex is set on 15 acres of lush tropical gardens, including fountains and waterfalls. This property is within walking distance of nearby beaches, restaurants and shopping.
Kamaole Sands features a pool area, outdoor showers, lounge chairs, two separate Jacuzzis, a kid's wading pool and a game area with table tennis as well as an exercise room. Nine BBQ areas are spread throughout the property, with one being right next to our building. There are also 2 tennis courts and 3 pickle ball courts on property.

Our on island agent is Maui Condo & Home located in South Kihei, in case you need assistance of any kind.
All guests need to check in at the front desk to receive their assigned free parking spot and check in paperwork.

Most enjoyable
Suggest this condo gets a new couch. It is terribly squeaky.
This was our third time in building 4, but first time in this condo. We were completely happy and will likely return if the dates fit. Having two bathrooms sets this condo development apart from the others. The unit was extremely clean and well prepared for our arrival. We never needed AC, as the airflow through the whole unit was amazing with the lanai, front door and bedroom window open. The lanai was one of the larger square-shaped ones, so the roominess and functionality were great. We fit six people around the lanai table, although two of the chairs out there were oversized so it was a bit tight. The lanai had a full overhead cover and was in shade 100% of the time. It's not a great view but it completely met out needs, Our main activity in Maui is morning snorkeling, and having the fantastic Kam beaches and all the many great snorkeling spots in south Maui is amazing. In general, the location is just perfect (we have tried many), with the fantastic beaches, a bunch of easily walkable food places and the fantastic beach-town vibe in south Kihei. The condo was very well-equipped, with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and kitchen items. We really appreciated having both a traditional and Keurig-style coffee maker - thanks Helli. Lastly, Helli was extremely responsive and great to work with overall.

Overall we are happy with our stay. We typically stay very active and do not spend much time in the unit. However, we very much enjoyed the grounds and the pool! The unit itself was a bit outdated and should be updated.
Was a great place to stay - close to a nice beach, right by bus stop, walkable to groceries, dining, shopping - safe and secure.
Condo met out needs as we do not come to Maui to sit in condo. The major negative was the traffic noise. The housekeeping staff could do a better job with the lanai floor and also the tops and bottoms of the glass tables. We greatly appreciated being able to stay in your condo and will definitely be back to Kamaole Sands. This was our 8th trip to Maui and 6 times to Kamaole Sands.
We had a great time, the condo was the right price. It is street side, tucked away in the corner of Kamale Sands. Very affordable and retro! Thank you for the stay.

The Kamaole Sands condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed in the kitchen and for the beach. It made our stay easy and fun. I would stay here again.

I stayed in this well equipped condo on my solo retreat to Maui. I loved the island feel of the furnishings and really felt like I was at home. Morning coffee on the large lanai was a great way to start the day. Communication was excellent and I had no issues during my stay. I would easily book this unit again.
