Maui Kamaole I102 is a one-bedroom, two-bath, single-level condo for up to four guests, with two beds, air conditioning, a kitchen, WiFi, and a washer and dryer. Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road for a morning swim, snorkeling, or sandcastle time, and Keawakapu Beach is nearby when you are ready for a longer walk. The tropical grounds offer two pools, including a heated lower pool, a spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas. Cable TV and a DVD player are there for the occasional low-key evening, while Wailea offers an easy dinner option just south. I102 gives a couple or small family a practical base with a softer, greener point of view.
The Space:
I102 is a single-level one-bedroom, two-bath condo with two beds for up to four guests. Its garden view makes the furnished outdoor space a pleasant spot to start or end the day. Inside, the well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, WiFi, cable TV, and DVD player provide the comforts of home, and the washer and dryer keep beach clothes from taking over the trip.
Guest Access:
Guests at Maui Kamaole enjoy access to the resort's two pools, pool spa, tennis courts, barbecue areas, and tropical garden grounds. Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road, making beach time easy to work into the day. The resort's low-rise layout has no elevators.
The Neighborhood:
Kamaole Beach Park III is close enough to make a quick swim or snorkel part of the day, sitting across South Kihei Road from Maui Kamaole. Keawakapu Beach is nearby for a different shoreline, and Wailea is an easy drive south for dining and a change of scenery. The complex brings two pools, including a heated lower pool, a spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas into the mix. South Kihei works well when you want beach access without giving up the convenience of a home base.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

The location was great. The property is so beautiful and having two different pools was excellent. The unit is great with all the amenities we could need. We had a great stay and will be back.

Absolutely zero complaints. It’s an older home, but very clean and well stocked. Even beach supplies for use!
Has everything you would expect.
Tara Tabon has been outstanding assisting us with the replacement of our microwave and catching a potential water leak on the unit above ours. Her communication with us is quick and efficient and she never misses a beat! We feel so fortunate to have her as our manager.
Very nice, clean unit. No frills. Flat panel TVs are really small. Stove is probably 20 years old. Toilets barely have enough water pressure to flush completely. Adequate space for 2 people. This was one of the last units available for the time period at the end of April 2022. I now can see why.
We really liked how spacious the condo is, the ground floor made everything very easy coming, going and relaxing outside. It was great
You will find everything you’d need for a relaxing stay. We had two adults, and two kids under 10 and really liked that there were four beach chairs, four boogie boards, an umbrella, and a cooler. So close to the beach and restaurants that our rental car stayed parked for days at a time. The kids watched Youtube videos on the internet connected TV, and cartoons on cable when they were taking a respite from the sun. There's also a collection of board games, card games and books. You might have to depend on those in the evening, because of the power outages we experienced. Two evenings of our seven night stay, several clusters of condos as well as the adjacent pool and offices were out of power. I found the night watchman/security after getting no answer on the office phone. He added our group of condos to the list that had no power. I sent an email to Vacasa regarding the lack of use of the swimming pool, hot water, doing dishes, laundry, A/C while we were staying there. No response to my email has been received as of this review. The owners put a lot of effort into this property, but the lack of communication when things go wrong makes me want to stay away from Vacasa. They texted, emailed, called and even visited on the first day to make sure everything was good. Even a reply saying kick sand in the dark would be better than radio silence. ps. I think this unit is prone to power failures because the flashlight above the refrigerator was already dead. So bring your own flashlights!
We’ve stayed here multiple times now and absolutely love the space and location! It was a great spot to come as a couple and now with our little one! Steps from the ocean and a great pool just across our backyard!
The unit is in a great location to the beach and both pools. Everything you need is supplied. The bed is really comfortable. Air conditioning is great but the unit also has a cross wind through the unit that is really lovely. It took me 3 days to get communication with the management company regarding a question I had. Otherwise, unit is good.
