Kihei gives a family an unfussy South Maui base: oceanfront time close by, casual restaurants and groceries around town, and bigger beach choices when you want them. Kalama Park is useful for a shoreline walk, while the Kamaole beach parks offer familiar swimming and sunset stops. Wailea and Makena are natural drives south for a different beach day. Staying here means you can keep the schedule loose, make meals at home, and still have plenty of Maui within reach.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

The condo was very comfortable and perfect for the 4 of us. And being on the ground floor was an extra bonus! The complex was very peaceful and even though we were very close to the pool, everyone was respectful of the quiet time hours. We would definitely stay here again!
Beach view was semi blocked by the fencing around the pool. Ground floor unit so easily accessible. Some noisy evenings; with permanent residents who were partying near the room.But the unit has a remodeled and well stocked kitchen, many utensils even an air fryer. Master bathroom also remodeled. It is very comfortable.
Right on the beach and close to everything. Always clean and parking is easy. Love the pool as well.
We enjoyed our stay in this unit and although we had a couple of issues when we arrived, the property manager was wonderful. We had a broken chair on the lanai and a burn mark/hole on one of the couch cushions. We reported it immediately and were very happy with their response. The broken chair was removed and they already knew about the couch cushion. Beautiful views. Phenomenal beach. Mahalo!
We had a great week long stay. This condo met all our family needs and the location can’t be beat for all the island exploring we did. The condo and property amenities were everything we needed to enjoy our stay and make great memories. Thank you!
This is the third time staying here. Right on the beach and close to everything.
We love this area. You can’t beat walking out to the beach and a short drive from some popular areas (Wailea, Papa, etc.) We loved it!
We were on the first floor and the condo was great. They greet you with a little welcome bag, house was spotless, great location- literally right near the beach. A quick 1 minute walk over grass and the beach is there. Everything was great! Will absolutely stay again. Convenient to shops too. Loved it.

we had a great trip. This location is very centrally located. Stores are close by the facility is very clean very well taken care of pool and the beach are very easily accessed and it was nice to be able to barbecue.
