Stunning views from this charming beachfront cottage located in the heart of Kihei town! This 850 square foot one-bedroom, two-bath home fronts a sandy beach and offers gorgeous sunset views. Conveniently all one level, this home is ideal for families of four or couples. Beach Front Honu Cottage offers the perfect paradise getaway, with a million-dollar view!
The Space:
As you enter you are drawn to the amazing ocean views and expansive lawn. The sandy beach front is perfect for sunning, snorkeling, swimming, and surfing. There is a large lanai with dining table for four, lounge chairs and gas grill, making this the perfect place to enjoy the incredible sunsets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the home chef would need. The living area offers flat screen TV, ceiling fans and of course the magnificent view! There is a queen murphy bed for additional sleeping. The guest bath is conveniently located just off the living area with a large walk-in shower.
Drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves in this nicely appointed primary bedroom with a king bed, flat screen TV, and ceiling fan. There is a portable AC for the bedroom. There is a full-size washer and dryer, with street parking available.
Everything you will need to enjoy a day at the beach is all here from beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, beach cooler and boogie boards! During season (December - April) watch the majestic Humpback whales right from the lanai.

Just a short walk away, you'll find the sun-kissed shores perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and a variety of water sports like surfing, snorkeling, diving, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Explore the local scene at the farmer's market or enjoy the lively atmosphere of Kalama Park, also within walking distance. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to world-class golf clubs in Wailea and Makena, less than a 10-minute drive, making this the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure.
Getting Around:
For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and whale watching. Also, a golfer's paradise with nearby world-class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk.

We always love staying at this property. The location could not be better for us and the house has two baths and a washer/dryer which are must haves for us for longer stays. While the property is dated in many respects it remains a solid value for the money and the management group has always been responsive and helpful during our stays. If we are able to do so, we will stay here again in the future. We also like the very short walk to the beach (probably 100 feet) where we can launch our paddle boards, swim or snorkle.
Perfect location with a private beach a few steps outside the back door. All kitchen essentials available and a bbq included. Perfect place to relax and beautiful scenery.
We stayed here during our honeymoon in Hawaii, and it truly couldn’t have been more perfect. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had that peaceful island charm that made it feel like our own little paradise. We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean, having coffee on the lanai, and watching the sunset each evening.The location was ideal — close enough to great beaches, restaurants, and shops, but still tucked away enough to feel private and relaxing. We made so many special memories here and can’t wait to come back. We would love to rent this place out again someday — it truly felt like our own little piece of paradise. Highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting Hawaii!
We stayed a week in this cute beach front cottage. It is central located with walking distance to restaurants, surfing lessons, groceries and shops. The owner/host was easily get in touch with and accommodated us with early check in since we had a very early flight in. The view is beautiful and we watched sunset every day from our lanai.
Over all great time. You will loose your parking spot almost every time you leave as it is next to beach access.
A fantastic place to recharge and reconnect. We've stayed in Kihei many times so we know the area pretty well. This was the perfect spot. Almost no need to leave the property. We bbq'd and watched the sunset almost every evening. Went swimming in the ocean every morning. Walked over and rented surf boards to surf in the cove a couple of mornings. Went on several excursions around the island but always made it back to sit out on the lānai and watch the sunset in the evening. Mahalo.
