Welcome to Your Kona Getaway at Keauhou Palena
Located just minutes from dining, shopping, beaches, and some of the best experiences the Big Island has to offer, Keauhou Palena is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your Hawaiian vacation.
Our spacious two-bedroom, two-bath condo offers a comfortable and flexible layout for couples, families, or friends traveling together. The primary bedroom features a private en-suite bathroom and its own dedicated AC unit for added comfort. The second bedroom is connected to the main living area and can be separated with a retractable wall, creating a private sleeping space when desired. The main living area also features AC, helping keep the entire space comfortable during your stay.
The open living area leads out to a large lanai, a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, relax after a day of exploring, or take in the beautiful Kona evenings. Because of the way the condo is positioned within the complex, the lanai has a private and peaceful feel compared to many other units.
The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, utensils, and accessories, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy the comforts of home during your stay.
One of the highlights of staying at Keauhou Palena is the convenient location. The Keauhou Shopping Center is within a short walk and offers a variety of restaurants, shops, a large grocery store, Saturday farmers market, movie theater, banks, medical clinic, pharmacy, post office, and gas station, all with beautiful views of the Kona coastline.
The condo is also close to Kahaluu Beach Park, one of Kona’s most popular snorkeling and surf spots. The clear waters are filled with tropical fish, and Hawaiian green sea turtles (Honu) are frequently seen here. You may even spot them resting on the beach in the evening. Snorkeling equipment rentals are available nearby, making it easy to enjoy one of Hawaii’s most memorable experiences.
A short walk further will take you to White Sands Beach, also known as Magic Sands. This beautiful beach is popular for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the ocean views. During certain times of the year, seasonal changes can affect the amount of sand on the beach, creating a unique landscape and a great spot for watching the ocean and, during whale season, migrating humpback whales.
Beautiful Kona sunsets are just a short walk away. While the condo is not directly on the water, you can easily enjoy spectacular sunsets along the nearby coastline.
Golf enthusiasts will love the location, as Keauhou Palena is situated next to the Kona Country Club, home to the Ocean Golf Course and Ali'i Golf Course, offering 36 holes surrounded by the beauty of the island.
Kona is famous for incredible ocean adventures, including world-renowned manta ray night dives, excellent snorkeling and diving, and unforgettable marine experiences. The area is also home to major events including the Ironman World Championship and the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament.
Beyond Kona, the Big Island offers endless adventures. A visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is a must-see destination and showcases the incredible volcanic landscape that makes this island so unique.
For added peace of mind, exterior security cameras are installed monitoring both entrances and parking areas.

Adam was very responsive and the place was overall quite good! We expected the AC to be in multiple rooms but it was just in one. The kitchen was well stocked with good seal on windows to limit bugs and numerous ant traps. We noticed some gaps in the sealing of the main door and the balcony door and later had to chase a cockroach that snuck in, which I imagine is common for Hawaii. Overall, quite happy with the place!
Came home for my mother in laws 80th birthday condo was perfect and close to everything we needed.
Adam was a fantastic host! Very prompt answering our questions. The condo is in a great location and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of beach gear. The beds are comfortable with nice sheets. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was really great especially for the price offered. The location was awesome right next to longs drugs so we could run over there when ever we needed. The only thing I will say is that there is only one air conditioner but other than that the stay was absolutely fantastic. Super clean with no cockroaches.

The condo was everything we hoped for from check in to check out. It was clean, well furnished and the location was beautiful and quiet. We wanted for nothing. We would stay here again!

Great location quiet condo
Great location for departures from Keahou Bay, snorkeling at Kahulu, farmers market, easy drives to Greenwell Coffee and Mountain Thunder coffee, Two Step snorkeling. Good size for family. Super quiet except for birds (but that was also lovely). Good kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Bath and beach towels handy Friendly and helpful host communication. Easiest check-in ever. Great value. Our stay was great. The apartment had everything we needed. The pool was not crowded at all and the kids enjoyed going everyday. The grounds staff is super friendly. It’s a super quick walk to the bay for manta ray night swims and a quick walk across the golf course to watch the sun set. Thanks for the great stay!
My family of 4 stayed 7 nights here. We loved three quiet location, breakfasts on the lenai, walks to Keauhou harbor for sunsets, and great central location. The property easily fit all 4 adults. 2 bathrooms was a huge plus. All the gear you need for the beach. Great host and a great property!

This was a lovely condo in a great location that was quieter than downtown Kona. It was well stocked with everything for a beach vacation including beach towels, chairs, umbrella and even sunscreen. The checkin process was a little difficult to figure out but everything else was great. We really enjoyed this rental.
