The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children and other water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.
The owners of Unit#5201 want to provide the best service possible for their guests.
Knutson & Associates will offer guests who book Unit#5201 the following additional services as a benefit, to you, the guest!
1. You have a complimentary concierge service to make Restaurant/Activity Reservations if you so desire to utilize
2. Need us to go grocery shopping or pick up certain items from the store before you arrive? We can ensure everything is in the property waiting for you upon your arrival! (Additional Service Charge May Apply)
3. Any guests who book 14 nights or longer will receive a Fruit Basket upon their arrival as a gift from the owner.
4. Face to Face Arrival Experience Offered Complimentary! All guests who book Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet 5201 will be met by Property Management Staff upon their arrival to go over property specifics. We will turn on any fans/lights and ensure you enter into a comfortable inviting environment!

Reviewer Comments: The best part about this property is the outstanding, near-immediate response from Knutson & Assoc, whether it's about area information or rental questions. They are above first class.While the condo advertises that it accommodates four people, it really only comfortably accommodates two. Both bathrooms have only one sink, and the master bedroom opens to the general living area and kitchen. It would be okay for two adults and two children. Noise from the unit above can penetrate, but it is tolerable.The living area and kitchen are large and open onto a beautiful lanai, which commands a wonderful view of the ocean and is likely where you will eat all your meals. This is a large condominium resort with a pool, tennis and pickleball courts, but no hot tub. It is south of Kona proper and well-located for venturing north or south. It is close to two beaches, but they are usually overcrowded. The best beaches are about an hour north.We enjoyed this place as our first time on the Big Island.
Property was great and enjoyed the private beach and pickleball courts were so fun. The only thing I would change is the master fan, needed itv on to cool off but pretty loud. Overall I would book it again.

The unit is amazing - spacious main room and granite top kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Huge corner lanai where you can watch spectacular sunsets while having a dinner (yes, it's exactly as shown in the unit's pictures!). Unit does not have an AC, but we did not feel that we need one (in late August).There's a good grocery store nearby and we often cooked for dinner (the kitchen is well equipped).Very clean, feels very recently furnished. There's new washer and dryer in one of the bathrooms.We very greeted by the host representative, Heather, who showed us the unit; she was very nice and even came back and brought us a new pitcher filter. Great communication with the host company.There's a beach next to the complex - not really a swimming one, but nice for an evening stroll. Less than a mile to the popular Kahalu'u beach, 5 min to Keahou harbor (if you're up for tour), 12 min to Kona, 25 min to Two Step beach (our favorite).We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Loved the full-size fridge. Great linens, etc. Now about the complex...Pickleball every day? Oh my gosh I was in heaven! And our whole family learned how to play. When we weren’t playing pickleball, the boys were out on the rocks right in front of our unit fishing. They caught a few things that we cooked and ate. All of the Owners and tenants in the complex are so friendly and nice. It was such a laid-back feel with nobody breathing down our neck. We just loved it! And, like I said, I’m hooked - I’ve already started planning our next vacation at this complex, and even maybe in our same unit! Thank you so much for the best vacation of our lives. MAHALO!
