The views were excellent! The Tupperware, the dishes, and washer/ dryer in the apartment were great! Everything else, not so much. The walls, window rails, fans, shower, the couches, were all dirty and dingy. In need of some love and deep cleaning. The ice dispenser in the fridge is all moldy, we realized because black flakes were falling from there. Thankful we had a roof over our head and somewhere to sleep and go to the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this condo.
We really loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean. Definitely worth the extra cost to be right on the beach. Assigned parking was a plus. Would highly recommended. Cant wait to go back.
Great support from property manager Ali'i Resorts including smooth check-in and late check-out. Balcony provides a great place to enjoy sunset drinks. Condo kitchen is well equipped. We made good use of the beach chairs and towels provided. The bedroom cabinets are starting to look tired. The master bedroom is smaller than the guest bedroom. Only the guest bedroom and lounge have AC. The master bedroom as a ceiling fan which we found adequate for our stay in December. Most afternoons there was a breeze. We loved our stay in the condo.
Quiet and peaceful stay. Mornings watching the canoe clubs and inviting ocean swims after a Long Beach walk!
I originally reserved this room for 10 nights but I had to ask for relocation due to the overwhelming number of bugs-- about 1 inch size huge ants with wings. I vacuumed all of them (45 of them at least) and contacted the property management and sent them the pictures and videos of those. The management team quickly relocated us, which was awesome. This property's view was awesome but all the windows and its rails were too dirty, so I never felt like opening them. It's such a waste of nice view, by not to cleaning behind blinds. Sorry, but I can not recommend this place. I appreciated the Ali Resort for relocating us so quickly.
The view is spectacular. Everything was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The gentleman that met us there was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Location was perfect! Corner view of pool and ocean was beautiful. The unit though... The bedroom with the queen bed had NO a/c and the ceiling fan barley moved. The bedroom with the twin beds had a/c. We've been married 40 some years, go to Maui to celebrate our retirement and had to sleep in separate beds !! That really upset us. During our welcome walk through the evening we arrived the welcoming man mentioned it and honestly we didn't think anything about it. Then a couple hours later it was so horriblely hot in the condo we knew the a/c was going to be a huge problem. IT WAS! No ceiling fan in the bathroom or kitchen. The couches where so uncomfortable we sat on the dinning room table chairs in the evenings.
This property is beautiful inside and outside. Best sunset on the beach. The only thing was the air in the master bedroom, there was none. It was okay for us because we could keep the door open and fan on. It was well supplied with cooking items. The grill was so good to have access to.
Our condo had the best view and access to the water in Maui. I would never stay in a hotel on Maui again.
This condo is suitable for a small family, one comfortable queen bed in bedroom one and two twins in a second bedroom. Shower is great and kitchen has all you need to cook meals. We loved the view of the ocean! And access to beach is amazing! It is just as pictures show, right on sugar beach. Beach is great for boogie boarding, walks and family fun. The property has basic beach gear- boogie boards, pool noodles and flippers. Recommendations when staying include: bring snorkels of your own to snorkel at beach, pack your own beach towels(there’s only four at condo that are not great), be sure to spend time in Kihei at awesome family owned small restaurants and food trucks.
