Wonderful house so close to kepuhi beach! Small but spacious, with comfortable Queen bed and plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cooking tools, and small appliances. Lovely decor and lots of puzzles, plus some games. Beach chairs were a huge plus! Charcoal grill worked well, and there was even some charcoal here to use. Layout is a little funny, with the twin room being on the other side of a big, open bathroom that also houses the laundry facilities, but there were only 2 of us and we didn't use that bedroom. Could have been awkward if traveling with more guests. This has been one of our favorite lodgings on the north shore, and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again!

Reviewer Comments: We are two seniors, and this is a great place to go and just relax in a area that is close enough to town for convenience, but far enough to be quiet and away from things. General condition was knocked down one star because the bathroom sink needed some maintenance. I had to reach under the sink to operate the drain stopper in the main bathroom. Initially electrical outlets in the bathrooms did not work, but few days later we found a circuit breaker turned off. Cleanliness was knocked down two stars because my wife was not impressed with the overall cleanliness of the place, particularly the cleanliness of the bathtub. However, we would not hesitate to rent it again.

Expect the Northshore to be windy with some intermittent rain. The beach out front has a rocky reef shelf sheltering it from the big outside reef waves, making for good, though more experienced, snorkeling. To swim you can walk towards the beach colony for more sand and a safer entry. The house was clean, well stocked, quiet, and classically furnished. It’s hard to find a midcentury classic house on the beach these days and we loved it! Don’t expect contemporary luxury but something more authentic and special and you’ll be happy.

We really enjoyed our stay. the house was much nicer than the photos, a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. it was light, bright, and comfortable. we love being able to walk to Tunnels. the rental company was very responsive and helpful.

The location is great. Until you realize this property description doesn't mention another rental property 25 feet away on the same lot that looks directly into your living area with no privacy wall or dilineation. In fact, property host goes so far as to manipulate the photographs to hide the property. Very Deceitful. Incredible that no other review exposes this fact. Found the property neglected (landscaping, dirty outdoor grilling equipment, cracked porcelain sinks, dangerous shower plate glass door, non-working entertainment gear, motion alert alarm present but nonfunctional), and when I did communicate with management they expected me to know the nickname of the house although I gave them the exact address and my name. They offered no resolution. Not very aloha, nor professional. The adjacent property not shown had a family of 5 staying with 3 screaming toddlers that got us up every morning at 5:30 a.m.. To add injury to insult we had a theft at the property while we were present. Found old barbequed meat in the Weber kettle outside. The gas BBQ was nauseatingly dirty and way past its prime. Do your homework people.

There weren’t many photos, or a ton of reviews, but we decided to just go for it choosing location over being in love with the property (or even super confident in it). We ended up loving everything about our stay. The house is adequate, but not fancy. Perfect for getting a real island vibe and not a touristy/resort experience. We LOVED leaving the louvered windows open at night to hear the waves, and waking up to the birds in the morning. The views of the ocean and palms out front, and the lush mountains behind the property are great as well. This is our 4th trip to Kauai and by far our favorite stay!
