Our host was very helpful and our place was very comfortable and very well equipped. Naalehu is a nice place to start from on the south end.
Very good location. Quiet and clean.
Clean with all the needed amenities. Cool breezes at night! Will stay again when in the area.
We had a great time at Na'alehu. We arrived after dark and the road to the apartment was a little bit scary, as some parts are not paved. But just keep going to the top of the hill and you'll find the place. Vickie and Wesley were very friendly and exeptionally helpful during our stay - thank you! The place is close to south point, green sands beach and Punalu'u black sand beach (where green sea turtles sometimes come to rest). We also recommend the Punalu'u bakeshop with delicious treats.
Remote area but only 10 minutes to the little town of Naalehu… the cottage is attached to the owners main house .. it’s small but clean..
Very enjoyable stay. Beautiful apartment. Would definitely stay there again
There was nothing that I didn't like.
The sunsets and sunrises were superb! Very convenient to South Point and Black Sand Beach area.
What a lovely spot. The perfect location for exploring the Ka’u area or even Hawaiian Volcano National Park. The rental was lovely and perfect for us two. Very clean and well equipped, and quiet except for some neighbors chickens aroused by a nighttime rain storm. It was nice to do some local things (Farmer’s market, lazing at nearby Whittington Beach Park, exploring South Point) and not just whiz by like we have in the past. Hosts were really nice, gecko watching was fun, and Vickie’s artwork is exceptional as well. I’d stay again and do a quad tour next time.
Lovely place just a little hard to get to. But worth it. Very clean and nice deck. Great place.
Beautiful Ohana suite. Very clean, very comfortable bed! This was perfect for my husband and I - we stayed for a week. Located half way between Hilo and Kona in a beautiful little town, Naalahu. Vickie provided soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc and that was very convenient. The wild chickens and goats are adorable.
Secluded, quiet place to relax and enjoy nature.
Vicki supplied everything you could possibly need. Perfectly stocked kitchen for preparing our own meals. We felt like we were the only ones there, very private. The bed was the most comfortable bed of our whole trip. Very convenient location to go to the volcano’s or beaches. Only drawback….it was way to close to the bakery. 😉😉
We only spent 1 night as this sweet home. We had complete privacy. Everything we required was available in the unit. The bed was quite comfortable and I as I like to cook, I had all I needed, even olive oil salt & pepper.
Loved the area. We were only staying for an overnight but everything was as expected
It was remote which is what i was looking for. The location was perfect and the ocean view was an added plus.
