Vacation Retreat at Kamaole Sands, Steps from Kamaole Beach III!

I’m indifferent about this condo. First, the good: The communication with the host was great, they addressed our concerns and promptly. The landscape and ocean view is pretty much why I booked the place, mornings with coffee on the lanai are a key part of our stay. The images of the main living room, bedroom, and kitchen are accurate. The space was simple and tidy. The not so good: parts of the place seemed run down, missing baseboards, old dirty cabinets, plastic kitchen utensils with much of the kitchenware breaking, teflon peeling off the pots/pans, and the master bathroom fan didn’t work. Now the host did quickly door dash us a new good quality ceramic pan set and they did offer to fix the fan (but we didn’t want people in the place while we were away/we just used the other shower the whole time). If you are dreaming of a gourmet kitchen for dining in, this isn’t it. Because of the high price tag for the space, I’d give it a 3/5. If it was a bit more updated/better kitchen with kitchenware then I’d give it a higher score. Overall it met the basic needs but was a bit disappointed here and there.

The room was really nice with 2 full bathrooms. This condo is right in the middle of the properties so you have a wonderful view of the grass area, swimming pool area and then the ocean! Lots of extras like beach towels, snorkel, beach chairs and mats and an umbrella. Keurig was a plus. Nice dishes and wine glasses. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Exactly what we had hoped it would be, even a little larger than the pictures suggested. Perfect beach condo for a honeymoon.

Everything was awesome. Great unit!

The view was breathtaking while sitting on the balcony, washing dishes or just hanging out in the living room. The place was clean with plenty of towels for the beach. Having a private washer/dryer to use made it feel like home and we never wanted to leave. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was ideal and made everything so convenient. The host was very prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend!

Well maintained property with free parking

Condo was clean and comfortable. Good bed. Nice to have beach chairs and towels. Beach umbrella would have been a plus. Loved the bbq area. Kitchen had everything we needed. A grill pan for fish and vegetables on tubby would be a suggestion. Dishwasher needs replacing soon. Very old and interior is falling apart. Sliding screen on lanai is not working and some concern about birds coming in. Otherwise I would highly recommend this rental

New washer and dryer, new fluffy and clean smelling beach towels, new bed mattress and carpeting. This place was nicely maintained. Any concerns were addressed immediately. Romvari was prompt in communication from booking to departure. Good location, across from Kamole 3 beach and walking distance. No issues with parking or noise from construction. Cute decor! We had an overall comfortable amd great stay. Pool was a little underwhelming but a nice amenity to have. We spent most of our time at the beaches. Mahalo! We’ll be back again!

The property is beautiful and close to the beach, within walking distance to some shopping and food options. Despite the busy resort and property facing the pool, it was unexpecedly quiet. The included beach chairs, towels and cooler were greatly appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and some basic spices were included. Towels and extra bedding were in abundance. The newer washer and dryer were very nice feature, though the other appliances and electronics need some updating. Sofa bed was not usable, but the manager noted to change it. We had some issues with the extra bed and internet/cable, but the property manager did the best to address all issues ASAP.
