Kamaole Beach Park III sits right across the street, ready for a beach morning that does not need a car or a detailed plan. This two-bedroom, two-bath Kamaole Sands condo sleeps up to six with four beds, air conditioning, a full kitchen, a private lanai, and a washer and dryer. The resort fills the gaps between outings with a heated pool, two hot tubs, four tennis courts, a gym, a poolside game room, and eight gas-grill areas. When the beach bags are put down, your group can still choose movement, a quiet soak, or a meal outdoors. South Kihei adds casual food and shops, and Keawakapu Beach is nearby for a longer stretch of sand. It is a capable family base for a Maui trip where everyone gets both beach time and room to reset.
The Space:
Two bedrooms, two baths, and four beds give up to six guests room to reset between beach plans. Air conditioning, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a private lanai cover the everyday comforts. The interior is a practical place to return after Kamaole III, while the heated pool, two hot tubs, tennis courts, gym, and grills add plenty of on-site choices.
Guest Access:
This Kamaole Sands condo offers access to the communal pool, hot tub, and outdoor pool, plus elevator service and a disabled parking spot. A private patio or balcony and BBQ grill let you dine outside, and an EV charger is available on site. Beach access is just across the street in Kihei.
The Neighborhood:
South Kihei is organized around the Kamaole Beach Parks, three sandy stops that make the water part of the daily routine. Kamaole III is directly across the street for swimming, a picnic, or sunset watching. South Kihei Road provides coffee, casual food, and shops within easy reach, while Keawakapu Beach is nearby for a longer golden-sand walk. Families like this part of Maui because a good beach hour does not require a major expedition. The pool-and-beach combination keeps each day flexible when different ages want different things.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Our family loved this condo right on the water. Great pre arrival communication and directions. The condo itself is perfect for a family or friends and came with all the nice little touches that make you feel welcome. Super close to the action at Misson Beach, or just enjoy the morning view of the sailboats on the water.
Great spot with easy access to pool and beach
We have made many trips to Kihei and stayed at several condo buldings there. PROS: Kam Sands is one of the better complexes, with a large and lively pool. Your kids can meet other kids. This unit is somewhat rare in that it has two enclosed bedrooms, versus one bedroom and an open loft as the second BR. This unit is decently updated. Vacasa mgmt made logistics easy. Kitchen supplied pretty well, and chairs, boogie boards, sand toys in outside closet. CONS: this is one of the only units in the entire complex with ZERO view from its lanai, which is blocked by large palm trees. Its lanai is also directly above the office area used by the complex's landscaping crew. They arrived early every day and were quite loud. You also get a fair bit of noise from people walking by below the lanai, given the unit is located on a corner. The TVs in this unit are small and old (not smart, other than the living room). This may not matter, as you are in Maui after all. But we were there during holiday college football, and were underwhelmed compared to what our other family members had in other units. Washing machine is loud AF. A/C unit also old and loud.
We love this location right across from the beach. This is an end unit so it was very quiet. We’ve always been able to find a shady spot at the pool. We used the supplied chairs and cooler almost every day. The extra fans were appreciated and we had everything we needed in the kitchen.

This is a great unit. Very clean and just as described. Short walk to the beach and the Kamaole Sands grounds are beautiful. We would definitely stay again.
We had a lovely stay at this condo for our trip. When we arrived there was a lovely gift basket full of local treats for us to try and the owners had provided a binder that they have made for guests with tips and tricks for your island stay as well as amazing places to eat. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. they even had some beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkeling gear for our use. we would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. the grounds at Kamaole Sands were also immaculately kept and so beautiful.
