Kamaole Sands - 3BR/2BA, Ocean View- AC unit- great location

The condo was spacious and was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 children 4ys and 10yrs old. The air conditioners work well and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms were a very nice addtion. It was well stocked with cups, glasses, and all the other dishes and silverware, although it was oddly short on spoons. There was a nice supply of beach chairs and sand toys for the kids. There is a great grassy area outside the lani which was utilized very much and better than having a small balcony on an upper floor. Only a 3 or 4 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the pool. Overall a great place and we highly recommend it.

wonderful spot in kihei, responsive host. this suite is on the ground floor which is good for beach access and kids. BBQs here are amazing but first-come-first serve and get busy!

Wonderful location and condo! We had 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. Loved the ground floor access and easy walk to the beach and pool. Everything we needed was in the unit, including a generous supply of beach chairs and boogie boards.

Wow .. exactly what we wanted .. great pools .. great beaches and the unit had lots of vacation toys ! I highly recommend this for other families!

This unit is so nice and close to the beach and restaurants. There was plenty of room for the six of us that went although it would be just perfect if there was a loveseat added for more seating. But we got along well enough with what there is. The unit is very clean which is appreciated. We love being on the ground level too. Thank you for a lovely trip!

A great place for 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 3 kids. Plenty of room to spread out. The two lanais connect to a nice grassy area that feels like a private lawn with an easy walk to the beach park, pool, and grill pits. Boogie boards, cooler, beach chairs, foldable wagon and umbrella were included.Kam 3 beach park has great sandy areas and a rocky reef with good snorkeling. Lots of turtles!

Well maintained property; well suited for a larger group and the grounds were well maintained. And of course walkable to the beautiful beaches.

If you are looking for new, luxurious accommodations, this is not the place. If you are happy with a little bit of 'wonk' then this will work. Bedrooms: beds were fine, sheets clean. Kids room blankets were disappointing. Cleanliness: high traffic/high use areas very clean, edges/corners were run down. No bugs at all. A/C: Can't go below 70. Was fine for March, but not sure it would keep up in the summer. Kitchen: adequate supplies, but basics only. Dryer: took 2 hours to dry (when it ran) probably better off with the drying rack. SMALL washer. Bathrooms: Weird layout. No counters in primary bath, and weird showers. NO extra bath towels if you fill to capacity. VERY FEW hand towels/wash cloths. Didn't like the bathrooms. Beach stuff: 5 beach chairs, 3 boogie boards, 3 umbrellas, 2 sets of fins were in the Patio and was very nice to have. Drying rack on back porch was awesome. 5 min walk to the beach! Loved that! Only 7 beach towels for a rental that sleeps 8! I wish I had brought my own microfiber beach towels that take up less space. Resort: Beautiful, very well kept. Safe and secure feeling. Reserved parking was awesome. Pool/hot tub area was great. Rent snorkel gear and wagon near the pool. Great deal, great service, very convenient. Other: Loved the lanai's and lawn space in back for kids to play. Loved the cinnamon roll place down the street. Jenny was great. Internet good. Would I stay here again? Yes. Would I recommend it to fancy people? No.

Condo is spacious and in a great location. First time we have stayed behind main gardens. It was actually very handy and private. Condo could use a little TLC here and there but property manager is great to deal with and we would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing unit - ground floor, grass law outside two lanais, sparkling clean, comfy beds & sleeping arrangements, tastefully decorated, spacious-feeling, and an ocean view from the living room window. It was spendy after taxes & fees, but felt posh. Beautiful complex with lots of families. Gorgeous grounds. Park & beach right across the street. Bit of a walk to amenities but natural foods store in walking distance and easy parking. Overall a luxe stay and beautiful place. I'll add that the property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful.
