Walk across the street with fins in hand and spend the morning in Kahaluʻu Bay, one of Kona’s favorite places to learn to surf and look for reef fish. This three-bedroom, second-floor corner condo sleeps six and sits steps from Kahaluʻu Beach Park, with ocean views from the covered lanai and plenty of space for a family to come home, rinse off, and regroup. The Beach Villas at Kahaluʻu add an infinity pool, spa, and grill area for the days you stay close. Inside, central air conditioning, ceiling fans, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer keep the practical side easy. The primary bedroom has a king bed and lanai access, the second has a queen, and the third has two twins. Keauhou Harbor is nearby for manta ray tours, and Kona Country Club is about a mile away. A seven-night minimum applies during the Kona Ironman and December 22 through January 3 periods.
The Space:
This second-floor corner condo keeps the ocean in view and gives six guests three true bedrooms and two baths. The primary has a king bed, TV, lanai access, and an en suite bath with walk-in shower; the second has a queen bed and TV; the third has two twins. Central air conditioning, ceiling fans, a full kitchen, and a covered lanai make it comfortable for a family stay.
Guest Access:
This Kahaluu Beach Villas condo offers access to the communal pool and hot tub, plus an outdoor pool and BBQ grill area for outdoor meals. A private entrance and lit path make for easy arrivals, and the property sits close to the beach with sea views. A sound system adds a nice touch for relaxing evenings in.
The Neighborhood:
Kahaluʻu sits south of Kailua-Kona on the sunny Kona Coast, with Kahaluʻu Beach Park as the neighborhood’s big draw for beginner surf lessons and protected-bay snorkeling. Keauhou Harbor is nearby for manta ray tours, while Keauhou Shopping Center adds groceries, restaurants, and a movie option for an easy evening. Drive north for Kailua-Kona’s Alii Drive and waterfront energy, or stay close for a beach day that needs little more than reef-safe sunscreen and a towel. It is a practical Big Island base for families who want snorkeling close to home.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 25 to 35 minutes away from Kahaluʻu Beach. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Kona Coast, including downtown Kailua-Kona, Keauhou, beaches, markets, and restaurants. On-site parking makes it easy to come and go.
Other Things to Note:
Minimum stay: 7 nights required for the Kona Ironman and the Christmas/New Year's period (Dec 22 to Jan 3).

This condo is in a perfect location --right across from a great snorkeling beach and close to shopping and restaurants in Kona. The condo was exactly as described and perfect for our group.

We actually didnt stay here because the a/c unit had broken down the week before our stay. Our host, Lawrence, had informed us of this , and we thought we could make it work, but it was just too hot without the a/c. However, Lawrence was gracious and helped us by issuing a refund for the stay. He was also great to communicate with. Plus the a/c issue wasnt his fault. Otherwise, the condo was clean and very nice. I would definitely recommend it.
We liked the location of this particular condo. Balcony with outdoor table with view of the pool and the ocean, plus right across the street from the beach and park. Great location!
For our family, we loved the location right by a snorkeling and surfing beach!! Easy walk to the beach, and surfboard rentals. We loved and used the pool and hot tub. Very clean. Would visit here again for sure!!
Condo was lovely & very clean. It took many phone calls & many door codes before we were given the correct code, but other than that, everything was great.

This was a perfect place for our family of four to spend a week exploring the big island. We loved the view from the patio, the pool, having great snorkeling right across the street, and plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The location was great- close to Kona town but in a more residential area. We lucked out and got to see actual lava flow at Volcanoes park, we snorkeled with Manta Rays, enjoyed a luau and a helicopter ride from Hilo in addition to great beach time.
Very clean and everything works. Great location and great view. Easy to get in and start our vacation.
Location is great with beautiful snorkeling right across the street. Surfing lessons right next door. Do not buy snorkel gear. Bring some alcohol swaps and clean whatever you want to use in the huge cache of snorkel gear and we left a nice boogie board behind. Highly recommend you go to Costco straight from the airport as it’s between the airport and the house. The amenities and cleanliness of this place are outstanding and the management is quick to reply to text. Really helpful staff. Hilo is about 1.5 to 2 hour drive but while there goto Carl Smith beach and swim with turtles. The pool and barbecue are great and we cooked several nights. The Apuna is a good Sandy beach about a 50 minute drive. Magics is a good Barb and restaurant about a mile from the house. Again the management of this property is top notch.
Great place
Our family of 5 (9, 12 and 14) stayed here for 4 days. The kitchen was well set, the rooms and bed set up was great, there were beach / pool towels and some snorkel and fin gear. The walk to the beach was 2 minutes and there were turtles, great snorkeling and some surf. We would definitely stay here again.
This home had everything we could possibly need, very comfortable and what a view. Half a block from Kahalu'u Beach, fantastic snorkeling and life guards. We truly enjoyed our stay, the only problem, it was way to SHORT!!

This rental was a decent value per night and has some nice amenities, like the hot tub, pool and BBQ. The bathrooms were nice, but for some reason there was quite limited hot water. The furnishings were also nice. The guest bedroom mattress was very stiff though.
