Welcome to Hualalai Hale—Your personal luxury resort home nestled within the exclusive and gated Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on Hawaii’s Big Island. Consistently rated a "10" by our guests, it is one of the best homes to enjoy precious times in the islands with family and friends. Situated on 1.5 tropical and manicured acres at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this expansive single-level resort home offers the ultimate in privacy, open green-garden spaces for kids, games and yoga all with breathtaking, year round sunset and ocean views.
This beautifully presented residence features a grand and spacious entertainment room, 15 foot tall ceilings with a combined, living room, dining room and expansive kitchen for grand family entertainment with four private, spacious bedroom suites, each with natural wood floors (no carpet in the home) and private en-suite baths/tubs/showers.
Designed for both relaxation and entertainment, the home’s open floor plan, recently upgraded furnishings and linens, allow for a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience making it ideal for multiple couples, families or intimate anniversary and holiday gatherings.
Outdoors, unwind in the newly finished black-bottom, free-form pool with custom soaking ledges and inset turtle mosaics. Soak in the elevated tiled spa, sunbathe on the expansive and laid back outdoor sofas and chaise lounges or dine al fresco in the Bali-style mahogany pool pavilion with seating for eight. Two private outdoor "open to the sky" showers, a spacious, manicured lawn, and lush tropical landscaping throughout the 1.5 acres complete the intimate island experience.
Inside, the home is appointed with rich wood finishes including limestone floors and hardwood doors, new wood plank flooring with slate stone accents, mahogany cabinetry give a rich palette of fine finishes and highest in quality. 10 foot tall Sapele wood entry doors, and wood-beamed ceilings finish the tounh. Tall pocketing glass doors connect the living room to the spacious black bottom pool, and outdoor areas. Enjoy the tropical breezes while the tall transom windows fill the home with natural light and tropical landscape views.
The gourmet kitchen is the central family entertainment and gathering space and features an expansive "Bordeaux" granite island with sink and hot water dispenser. Includes Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf gas range, Nespresso Coffee Maker and a fully equipped butler’s pantry with wine fridge and wet bar with cocktail making accessories—perfect for year round entertaining.

Bali styled outdoor Pool Pavilion overlooking pool, spa, expansive yard and garden: features a teak wood dining table with comfortable teak wood seating for eight. There is a large cushioned outdoor sofa pool side that is ideal for all day lounging/reading along with two large chaise lounges and a four person teak breakfast table for morning coffee or evening cocktails.

The house was amazing! It was clean updated and well appointed. The host was terrific
Great host and great on site property manger who helped in many ways…including bringing in perishable groceries which an Instacart delivery person left outside in the sun and moving heavy bags from one location at the resort to another as well as prompt inquiries to all questions.
We keep returning (and will be back again) because it is such a great property. It is private, quiet and so comfortable. Has everything we need and great access to all the Four Seasons amenities and restaurants. Super clean and neat and the property manager is very responsive. By far, one of our favorite places to visit. Feels like a home away from home.
Have been visiting FS Hualalai for 15 years as a hotel guest and villa renter. Love this property. Hualalai Hale is an amazing piece of property, rental experience and responsiveness of the property management were all first class. The property is a little tired, furnishings particularly were a little frayed and soiled. Hot tub controls were not working and unfortunately not repaired until the second to last day of our trip. Property management apologized with a beautiful bottle of wine which was unexpected.With a make over and some updated electronics this house would be a Five Star
We spent the week of Thanksgiving and it was great. We were able to relax by the pool and enjoy the outdoor space. We will definitely stay again
We have vacationed multiple times at this home. What continues to bring us back is the comforts of home. Beautifully decorated. Private pool and grounds. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. The 4 bedrooms are all ensuite and a couple have outdoor showers connected. The golf carts that come with the home get you to and from the beach and The Four Seasons restaurants. There really isn’t much more you need. We will return!
My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at Hualalai Hale in July and early August 2024. There were seven of us total, including five children, the youngest of whom were three. This house was perfect for us. It is better than advertised. There were days we didn’t leave the property because having both a large pool (with plenty of toys) and hot tub with an expansive yard was enough and the kids were able to play all day. The pool is shaded in the morning and sunny in the afternoon which is also nice. Having access to the Four Seasons amenities was an added plus, we were easily able to drive the house’s golf carts to their pools and beaches. We also ate at FS’s restaurants several times and attended a luau on property. It’s worth noting you can also use FS’s concierge to arrange activities, which we did and were happy with. Masa, the house manager was incredibly responsive and check-in was a breeze. I cannot recommend this house enough. Also, they give you ample towels, I hate it when I go to beach houses and there aren’t enough towels. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
What a terrific place to stay with a family of 8 ranging in ages from 5-75. Would do it again anytime!
This house is amazing & idillic. We (two families with 5 total kids ages 1-7) had a wonderful stay. The house is amazing & the house manager, Masa, is responsive and very helpful. We had two hiccups though: 1.) there are thorn bushes surrounding the backyard and they were freshly trimmed/weed wacked leaving 1-2 inch long super sharp prickers all over the yard. My daughter had to prickers pierce deep into her foot. The yard is a huge draw but not if you can’t be barefoot and have to watch out for dangerous thorns. 2.) our checkout time was 11am but the cleaners came at 9:30am and made packing to catch our flight much more difficult than it needed to be. If these 2 things can be fixed I would come back to this exact property many more times!
This was our 7th time. Clearly we enjoy the home! It is beautiful, private and comfortable. We like the privacy, of having a pool to ourselves. The golf carts are a big plus. The bedrooms are all en suites with full bathrooms. And the outdoor showers are awesome! Once again, a great trip.

This was our third time staying at Hualalai and this house was by far our favorite! The host, Jamie, was responsive and welcoming, and the house itself was just perfect for my family of five; beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, well stocked, clean, spacious, perfectly located etc. We easily got around the resort, using the golf carts as our main mode of transportation. The yard is also huge and lovely, and we spent a lot of time relaxing and lounging by the pool when we weren’t at the resort. The concierge was also super helpful and responsive. All in all, a perfect vacation spot! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us for a week, Jamie!
