Everything was wonderful!
The bungalow was exactly what we needed. It was quiet during the week, it was secure, had a nice bed and with our rental car, easy to get around. We stayed over Valentine's Day and we had an amazing time. It was perfect. We had a beautiful outdoor shower and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host is a remarkable person. We really enjoyed meeting him. Very kind. Knowledgeable, friendly. We usually never meet the hosts while travelling, but it was a real treat to meet him and chat with him. I would definitely come back and will recommend this little bungalow to anyone visiting the big island
Simple bungalow, but very comfortable. Loved the outdoor shower! Farsheed was an excellent host.
If you intend to be out and about in Kona this is a great place to stay. If you need a place to hang out there is not a good place for more than one person and there is no TV.
It’s a cute place and great for people who are mainly out and active. The kitchen was tiny but manageable! The outside shower was an all time favorite even getting back late at night. Definitely not a place to relax though.. Main stay was quick in and outs of the bungalow and immediately passing out. Not really a place to sit and relax after going out to the beach unless you want to shower or get the bed dirty. This is also attached to another bungalow and you can hear everything but was respectful. Also if you’re not super active the outside noise will be bothersome at night as it is very loud but again if you’re active you won’t be able to hear them as you’ll crash. Main point- great for active people who need a super simple place to sleep and eat and bath. Not a place to relax and lounge. Also loved how close it was to everything!
The location is good: right above Kona and the place is very quiet. The place is very adequately supplied with kitchen 'everything-tocook', towels and there is a decent outdoors shower. For me those were positives. However, the owner was very difficult to communicate with before the check-in. I traveled half of the world: usually I'd get the rental address right after my payment, but at this property I had to wait for the check in day, which was very stresseful because I was traveling from one location to another and did not have data on my cell. For me this was the last resort-late minute booking and I had to accept the consequences. If given other choices in the same area I would not have selected this property.
Nice view of the ocean. The outdoor shower is an amazing experience. Great value. Check-in process was easy — we located the place at night in the dark and had no issues. Just FYI, there are loud birds/frogs at night. It was a cool experience for us heavy sleepers.
Good little getaway in wonderful location. The frogs are loud! Bring earplugs.
Beautiful, clean, great location
I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived here. It's a quiet place in the hills. No TV, outdoor shower, and frogs chirping all night/morning. I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't this, and I was very happy with it. We arrived at night and were a little uncertain we found the right place when we turned in, but aside from that minor hiccup it's not hard to access (would be much easier had we arrived in daylight). We are staying here again on the return leg of our trek and I'm looking forward to it.
We absolutely love the bungalow , we spent seven nights there, the outside shower was awesome, it’s a great location, close to fantastic beaches. If you like hiking and snorkeling, we recommend the Captain Cook Trail down the beach, where we saw stingray, octopus, and dolphins, which is10 min away We had amazing time on the island and in the bungalow. Out host was very accommodating, we loved everything minute there.
Pretty good.
A nice landlord’s. Very accommodating simple inexpensive property
