Pickleball Update (Effective September 15)
To help us keep Holua Kai’s racquet facilities in great condition for everyone, a few updates are being introduced this fall:
- Open Play Sessions: Non-member drop-in rates will adjust from $10 to $15 per person, per session.
Punch Cards:
- 7-punch card: $90 (saves $15).
- 10-punch card: $120 (saves $30).
- Punch cards are valid for Open Play only (not reservations).
- Court Reservations: Tennis and pickleball reservations remain unchanged at $10 per person, per hour.
- Sign-In: For smoother check-ins, all guests will use a quick QR code sign-in.
- Members: simply enter your name.
- Non-members: name plus phone number (and email if requested).
These updates allow Holua Kai to maintain vibrant, well-managed facilities — ensuring you and fellow players can enjoy high-quality courts and a thriving pickleball community year-round.

Beautiful!! This property was perfect for our group of six. Spent every night out on the lanai watching the sunset. The house had everything you could want and was exceptionally clean. Will definitely return for another visit!
Our two families absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed after four nights of car camping on Maui and this was the exact luxury we were looking for. Sitting on the patio watching the waves and sunset was such a beautiful and peaceful thing to do. The house is well equipped, we were easily able to cook the Mahi-mahi we caught for our family. The kids loved the pool and hot tub after our days of adventure or even after beach days. The course gave a local area rate for staying here, which was a nice bonus. We would 100% stay here again!!

This house was nothing but amazing! A definite highlight of our trip! We loved it so much we didnt want to leave! The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We spent majority of our time in the backyard.

This was our first visit to the Big Island, and truly enjoy the house, location and views. The house allowed us to host another couple for 4 nights with plenty of room and nice accommodations for all of us. We enjoy the private pool, hot tub every evening, while watching a fantastic sunset. The daily activity of the golfers on the 2nd hole of the Kona Country Club was a great way to enjoy your morning coffee sitting out of the patio while admiring the Pacific Ocean. The bedrooms are all nice, and there is plenty of other day beds for a large family. Lastly, it was terrific to stay at a place that had a well equipped Kitchen, and a very nice grill for the evening we decided to cook and stay in.
Everything was great. Very clean, everything we needed and was nice for family. View was fantastic.
We stayed here with two other couples and their babies. The house had everything we needed and was a perfect place to spend a few days. We loved the pool, kitchen, and furnishings. The master bedroom was stunning. The other rooms were beautiful as well.
Pool, palm trees, golf course, ocean, this is the view from the porch. Unreliable, gorgeous views. And most importantly, the sun sets right in front of your eyes!!!!!
This place is absolutely beautiful! Better even than the pictures. The pool and hot tub are very refreshing. Only drawback is that the pool had a vacuum it it which had to stay in at all times. The hose was slightly annoying. The kitchen had the latest equipment and all necessary supplies for cooking. We had a problem with enough beach towels for our group of 6. We contacted the help line upon arrival about this issue and were told they were in there and we just had to look harder. They were not in the unit. They said they would pass it along. We contacted them 3 more times about this same issue. We did not get more towels until the 3rd day of our 6 day stay. The office is only open 9-5 weekdays and the on -call management was slow to respond to requests. Other than that we loved the view of the sunsets over the water.
Beautiful beautiful house and backyard only thing I would complain about is more kitchen utilities and beach items. For a house this nice that should be a huge plus. Overall beautiful beautiful view which is truly what your paying for!!!
Perfect place for a relaxing family vacation
Overall we had a fun stay just some minor issues with getting hot water to all the showers and the pool temp varried a bit too much. Other than that our stay was great.
