I had stayed at this property before with no significant issues. However during this most recent there was a plumbing issue that left the toilet unusable. Simply reaching a live agent on the phone required multiple prompts from an AI agent, we then found out that there were no maintenance teams on site so one had to be brought in but they couldn't say when. The staff in the office tried their hardest I believe but the property manager was completely unreachable and unable to provide us with any back up accommodations or even an estimate on when the issue would be resolved. It was an extremely confused situation. Basically we were left without a working toilet for almost 2 days and not given an alternative option till the night before we left.
Do not stay here, spend the extra money and get a better room. Black mold in the shower, lights that don't work a sink you can barely use and a unusable microwave. Chipped paint stains on the walls and curtains and a air-conditioner filter so caked with dust it wouldn't blow cold air.
Had trouble plugging microwave into an outlet.Refrigerator was jammed into wall and baseboard so was very difficult to open and close doors.Numerous light bulbs blinking and need replacement.Was no live TV of normal cable or local broadcast channels.Was difficult using shower controller needs replacement.Bed, view, and other accessories in room were fine.Overall ok but many would not give this above a 1 star.
I thought this room was delightful, with both decor and value, in an older hotel, given the extreme prices for the Waikiki area. It was supplied with essential kitchen items for preparing meals.
Room reeked of urine when we first arrived. Maintenance was helpful but had to wait a long time to receive a response from the property owner. Was allowed a refund on the room but was not allowed a refund for the parking.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had problems getting the remote to work for the TV. The bed is smaller than it looks in the picture. The faucet is so loose it moves whej you turn the water on and off. the bathtub was a bit dirty and looked to me that it had some mold around the tub meeting the wall area. There were no glasses for drinks, only a coffeee cup and 3 soup cups. My friends got a room in the same building for the same price and their room was remodeled, had a kitchen, a queen bed, and fully stocked kitchen utensils. I would stay in the room they had, not this room.
