~ Kitchen Remodeled March 6 to April 19, 2019 ~ Enjoyed a lovely stay at Mindy's place. It was an excellent value and appreciated renting a full condo at an intimate complex instead of staying in a bedroom at a big resort. Liked walking directly out to the pool and beach from the lanai -- benefit of being on the first floor. I strolled to the farmers market and local fish market for food on occasion. And sat on the beach most days and read a nice book. People were friendly yet kept to themselves which I loved. ~ Suzanne M.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the easy access to the pool/hot tub. The furniture on the lanai is nice, we enjoyed our meals outside. The condo is very well stocked with kitchen item, the bathroom and bedroom linen was clean and in good condition. We did have a major problem with a plugged shower drain, it took several calls/texting to get a maintenance man to come look at it and it took him a long time to fix it, he was in and out of the condo for several hours, then I was left to clean up all of the "yuck" There is no AC usually this isn't a problem for us in the winter months but we stayed during the month of August, the fan in the living area worked but was old, dirty and broken. The master bed, sofa and murphy bed are comfortable and in good condition.

But we had a lot of towels, a lot of toilet paper, a lot of dishwasher pods and clothes detergent. The dishes and cups were adequate and overall we loved it. One bad thing is that we could not get down to the ocean unless we jumped down a big wall and landed on the sand and then rolled. Once we were down there we could not get back up unless somebody helped us. Ocean access is nonexistent unless you have a ladder or your half monkey. We will come back once the tide settles down and brings back the sand so that we can walk onto the beach again.

Had lots of beach equipment (some broken and should be thrown out). Lots of room for a good sized family. Value was great. The suite is close to parking lot, elevator and road out front. Was noisy from 4am a few days with people early checkouts headed to the airport and loud vehicles. I would stay again as the main floor access to pool and beach cannot be beat.

The first thing I noticed was how dirty the bathroom was, the toilet seat is worn out and needs to be replaced a long time ago(they only cost about 25.00) the bath room mirror was not cleaned and there was hair on the floor by shower. The ceiling fans in both master and living room are caked with dust months of no cleaning so we did not use them. the kitchen had ants all over by the back splash. we had a mouse running around the living room area. our fourth night there the smoke detector started to beep due to low battery, I took the battery out at 4:00 AM and noticed the battery was marked 3/18/2018. we have 4 people in our family and there were only 2 beach towels. the dryer never worked. the floor seemed dirty throughout. the lanai was never swept. The furniture is worn out and the same from 6 years ago when we stayed here. The outside grounds seemed like it was lacking attention. After a long day of travel my wife spent the first 1.5 hours cleaning what she could, mirror floors etc. We will no longer be using Chase N rainbows or this unit

We were in this unit just this past October 2021 as well. Upon arrival after a long day of travel and needed to freshen up. The shower had black mold on the grout in multiple areas, the glass wall, the corners of the walls, the shower bottom. literally 1-2 feet up, it was gross. There were dead bugs and used Kleenex behind the nightstand that was discovered when plugging the phone charger in.It's time to have a tile cleaning company clean all the grout lines in the whole unit as I think the look would enhance the unit. Another need is there has to be an inventory of kitchen items and replacements of pots and pans along with complete sets of glasses, it looks like Goodwill shelves in the cabinets. Rusty cookie sheet pan as well.The dishwasher handle was missing and it was only a 2 1/2 year old dishwasher. The refrigerator had dirty shelfs and the over the stove microwave light needs replacement as well.The management company sent a cleaning person over and the Shower was cleaned along with the cleaning behind 2 nightstands, plus the glass windows were cleaned as they had fingerprints all over. I could think of more items in the kitchen if I had more time.So my wife and I had friends meet us at Hale Mahina and they had to split units for the 9 nights. Those 2 other units were far superior in cleanliness and the set up with everything a kitchen was newer and very well organized. From pots and pans, glass bakeware, glasses and cups, every cooking utensil, silverware and knife sets you name it Amazing set ups.Lesson here is the management company and Trinity cleaners need to address the unit to make it desirable for my future and future guests. A solid checklist and reporting system for all their clients.My wife and I owned a cleaning company in the past and we feel that a need for supervisor is in order so Chasen Rainbows doesn
