⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
💨COOLING NOTICE: Hale Mahina does NOT have air conditioning. Each room has ceiling fans and jalousie-style windows that allow natural trade-wind airflow throughout.
🚧 CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
A number of sinkholes have appeared on the property which restricts access to the lawn in some areas. These areas are cordoned off for guest safety. In 2026, repairs to the seawall will begin and will continue into 2027. The work will involve excavation and seawall reinforcement work with heavy equipment. The ambiance of Hale Mahina will be affected but we will try to maintain access to the beach area on the southside of the property. Check back for updates on the progress and view the webcam on Hale Mahina’s website for a real-time picture of the work.
🦎🐓PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.
☀️HAWAIʻI CLIMATE: Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports geckos, ants & occasional roosters. Despite regular pest control, these are part of normal island living. Our units are carefully cleaned and inspected; any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.

Awesome beachfront spot with a pool option as well.
We stayed here for a quick mothers&daughters getaway, this property does not disappoint, it was our 2nd visit to this property, our first in this unit. The views and location are incredible, a short walk away from a great coffee at badass coffee or an evening walk to the food trucks. The condo was clean and stocked with what we needed, the maui coffee and Maui pancake mix provided a wonderful touch. The quiet vibe of the property suits our family well. A wonderful experience overall!
We loved the location and our view of the ocean and sunset. The pools and grounds were very well kept and we felt very safe. The listing was super accurate and the host was easy to reach. I recommend this property to every one who wants a Maui sunset and a rainbow every day.
