Flawless Experience – A True Vacation OasisOur stay here exceeded every expectation. The property is pristine - impeccably clean, beautifully updated, and nicely appointed with high-quality finishes and tasteful decor. It is entirely obvious that the owner deeply cares about guest comfort, as absolutely no detail has been overlooked.We especially appreciated how meticulously organized everything was; having the light switches and TV instructions clearly labeled made settling in completely seamless, and the very convenient parking was a huge plus. And a huge high five for the kitchen amenities! Seeing a premium Zojirushi rice cooker available (even though we didn't end up using it) truly speaks volumes about the thought and quality put into this home.We also have to give a special shoutout to the amazing bed. Finding a mattress that caters perfectly to side sleepers by providing excellent firm support is rare, but this one nailed it. We slept like royalty and are dying to know the brand name so we can recreate the experience at home!To top it all off, the breathtaking ocean views from the private lanai were simply unforgettable. James was an absolute pleasure to deal with as he was highly responsive and easily reachable whenever we had a question. Combine this stunning outdoor oasis with the luxurious interior and wonderful hospitality, and you have the perfect getaway. Thank you for an incredible stay and we will definitely be back!

Property was as described. Even better ocean view than I initially thought. It’s also really quiet which helps with kids. Overall a really good experience. James and I were able to figure out late check out that made sense for both of us since my flight was at night. All beach essentials are already on the property so we didn’t have to buy any of that which helped a lot.

Loved our stay in this condo. It was clean, updated, and bed was super comfortable. We were on Maui when the major Kona storm hit and washed out the road in front of the condo. James was super attentive and made some phone calls on our behalf. Excellent communication with the host. Only drawback is the pool area. It is clean and kept well, it’s just dated. Time for some new chairs. We are beach people, so this didn’t matter much to our stay. The view from this condo is spectacular. Saw many whales with the binoculars provided. Loved our time in the condo—we will be back!

This was a perfect place to spend our honeymoon! The host, James, was clear with communication and how the place looked. He also provided items to use at the beach, including snorkel gear, which was awesome and one less thing to take on the plane! We traveled from the east coast, so the less we had to take the better. You also can't beat the view from the lanai!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this complex. And our unit was delightful. Plenty of kitchen amenities which helped our meal prep when staying in. Pool is great. Guests and residents friendly. We had a great view of the pool and the ocean. And the artwork in our unit is fabulous.

We stayed here for our first trip to Maui in late May 2025 and this condo blew our expectations out of the water. The unit is exactly as it appears in photos, super clean, all new appliances, fantastic AC units in bedroom & living room, walkable location to Kam Beach II & shops, and has an amazing view of the ocean. The owner, James, was quick to answer questions and very polite. The complex is away from the main road which made it peaceful at night. Cannot sat enough good things and looking forward to staying here again!

We spent the whole month of March here. Sadly, we're leaving today but would gladly stay another month! We enjoyed our stay so much that we already booked for next March. The condo is perfectly situated within the complex with truly EPIC sunset views every evening. James is an amazing host and very responsive to any questions or requests. The condo has everything you need for any length of stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, snorkel gear, beach chairs & umbrella, etc. Comfortable king size bed, mini split air conditioning in the main room and bedroom(although with the cooling trade winds providing a nice breeze through the lanai screens, we rarely needed the AC). The grounds crew in the complex keep the area spotless, cleaning and the pool areas and community grills every single day. Kihei is THE place to stay in Maui as far as we were concerned. Very centrally located on the island with plenty of shops and good restaurants to walk to(the 6 shrimp tacos on Taco Tuesday at Freds Mexican restaurant just outside the complex were the best we've ever had!). Happy hours at Tommy Bahamas & The Monkey Pod were also highlights of our dining experiences and Mama's Fish House was epic but bring your wallet and make reservations months in advance. Sunday Jazz night at the Kuia Chocolate factory in LaHaina was also a very relaxing evening with some really good jazz. All in all, don't hesitate to book this condo, you won't regret it.

The unit has a great west facing view with really nice sunsets. It is located on the 4th floor of a 6 story building on a hill so it is high enought get those views. Although it also overlooks a pool and is in a mulit unit building, there is little noise and the published quiet hours are observed.Its within a short walk to restaurants and shops. Althought there is a public beach right alcross the street, we elected to go to another beach about a mile south that was less crowded and a bit cleaner.James our host was easy to work with and very helpful.

This condo was beautifully appointed, every detail thought of by the owner. Breathtaking view from the balcony, which directly faces the ocean. I would certainly stay there again.

The best condo we’ve rented in the Kihei Akahi during our many stays. Beautiful upgrades, well stocked, very clean, comfortable king size bed and with a great ocean view.Attentive owner as well.

Amazing condo well situated across the beach and a short walk to restaurants and bars. Lots of cute little shops in the area too. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our trip, and the views especially were incredible

Kihei Akahi is a great location across from a good swimming beach, grounds are kept spotless, pool, barbecue, tennis courts are great features. For the condo itself, it has everything you need for the beach (chairs, towels, snorkel gear, umbrellas, boogie boards) which is great not to have to rent or pack. The kitchen was well stocked, with both a nespresso machine and traditional drip coffee machine, cooler bags and ice packs for grocery trips, and all the required gear for cooking and/or eating in the unit. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the lanai, great view. AC in both living room and bedroom is a rare find and was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable and we were able to do laundry in the unit. We would stay here again, owner was very responsive and friendly, with a super easy check-in process.

Everything about this property and specifically this condo was truly awesome!!! The condo is beautiful, so clean and well stocked with everything you need during your stay. Amazing view of the ocean and the epic sunsets. Easy access to many beaches, equipment rentals, restaurants and shops. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained and the condo owner is very responsive and provided all information in a timely manner. Pretty place right across street from beach and snorkeling. Host has snorkel and water gear which is convenient. Property deska and host are friendly and helpful. Beautiful views.

We enjoyed staying in this great little apartment for our Maui trip. The decor was Hawaiian, and so nice! It was clean, in the perfect location, had comfortable furnishings, safe and walkable to a wonderful beach, many shops and restaurants. It included beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and had a wonderful ocean view. The pool and grounds were kept immaculate. Elevator and close reserved parking nearby. Communication with the host was great. We would definitely like to return to Maui and would choose to stay at this apartment again.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED this condo!!!!! We spent 12 nights there and we’re so very happy with our stay. The condo is STUNNING and just as perfect as the pictures. The location is absolutely incredible close to the beach (Great beach gear is provided). We loved how close the condo was to wonderful eateries. We can’t wait to go back and ABSOLUTELY want to return to the condo. James oversees the condo and is SO good at communicating and being available, he’s super responsive via text, and details everything SO well. He was so kind allowing us a later check out time so my daughter could have one last surf day as we had a red eye fight. He is so kind and responsive. This is a place you DEFINITELY want to book if it’s available!!!!!! This was such a wonderful place to stay, fantastic experience!!!!

What an amazing property! It's more beautiful than the pictures! An amazing kitchen stocked with everything that you could possibly need! The entire unit is stocked with everything that you could think of! What a great property with amazing views - centrally located in Kihei. Quiet and clean - the entire complex is so great and all of the people that we met were so nice! Thanks for an amazing time - we'll be back!

Excellent condo! Had everything we needed and within walking distance to beautiful beaches and shops. The pool was fabulous too! Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent accommodation and location. There aren't many places that I know of where you can watch whales from the lanai. Sunsets aren't bad either.

We would come back. All was as advertised.

You can not beat the location or the view! Very comfortable condo with everything we needed to enjoy our time there. James was very good about replying to any questions we had. We would love to stay there again!
