Let the sound of the Pacific set the pace from this oceanfront one-bedroom condo on Ali'i Drive. Made for two, the 850-square-foot home has two baths, a full kitchen with dishwasher, a breakfast bar, and a private washer and dryer, so you can stay in when the lanai view is this good. The beach is right outside the complex, while Magic Sands Beach Park and Pahoehoe Beach Park are about a mile away for a change of scenery. After a day in the water, take a dip in the shared solar-heated outdoor pool or settle into the shared hot tub. Kailua Village is a couple of miles north for dinner by the water. It is a calm, grown-up Kona escape for a couple who came for the ocean and intends to use it. The whole setup rewards a slower morning and a later sunset.
The Space:
This one-bedroom, two-bath condo gives two guests an unusually roomy oceanfront setup. The private lanai faces the Pacific, making every meal feel like an occasion, and the full kitchen includes a dishwasher and breakfast bar for easy mornings. Ceiling fans keep the rooms comfortable, and the private washer and dryer means beach towels are ready for the next day. The view does the rest.

The Neighborhood:
Along Ali'i Drive on Kailua-Kona's sunny west coast, Kona Bali Kai gives you an easy rhythm of surf, beach time, and town evenings. Magic Sands Beach Park and Pahoehoe Beach Park are each about a mile away for sand, tide pools, and an ocean dip, while Lyman's surf break is less than a half mile from the complex. Head a couple of miles north to historic Kailua Village for waterfront restaurants, shops, and an evening stroll. It is a strong base for families and couples who want the Pacific close and downtown Kona within easy reach.
Getting Around:
A rental car is the easiest way to explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Ali'i Drive connects this area with Kailua-Kona, beach parks, dining, and shops. Check your reservation details for parking information and plan on a car for flexible access to beaches and day trips.

Great location, Awesome view. Clean.
This is an older unit but the ambiance is fantastic. We had the patio doors open and ceiling fans running whenever we were here. In the mornings we relaxed overlooking the blue water without the sun beating down on us. If you want to sunbath the patio gets warm in the afternoons. We didn't miss air conditioning and could not imagine shutting the patio doors all night and shutting out the surf. Very well stocked kitchen if choose to cook. We never used the pool which I would not rate very high.

The view from the lanai is outstanding. Being next to the ocean with the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep each night was an incredible experience. The condo itself was perfect, comfortable, and well decorated. We loved it and will return.
We booked this condo for our wedding week. We loved lanai overlooking the beach, the sound of the surf and tide pools outside our room. The Poke Shop in the building was a bonus. Local was close to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely rent this condo when we came back.

Outstanding location, bring earplugs if crashing waves bother you, saw turtles, dolphins and whales from the lanai, parking easy.
Loved beach
Very clean, great kitchen, great lanai. This was a 3 week trip - one week on Kauai, one week on Maui, and one week in Kona. This was our favorite condo.We left the patio doors open all night and the sound from the waves is almost too loud! Almost. :-)If we go back to the Kona side we will try to get this exact same unit.
Very clean, well appointed condo with amazing sunset views from the lanai. Close to lots of shopping & dining options as well. We were surprised at first that there was no a/c but you truly don’t need it, the breezes off the ocean and the fans made it very comfortable! We enjoyed watching the surfers and all of the fish!

Very pleasant and well set up. A few things did not work of course. Fan lani ,coffee maker need attention. Over all great.
Overall this stay was amazing, the condo is right on the water and amazing sunset views. As some mentioned there is no AC but the place stayed pretty cool with both doors wide open and fans on at night, listening to the waves is a nice bonus but you will most likely be waking up with the sun. Condo has everything you need for the beech (towels/boards/cooler/chairs/umbrella) and kitchen. Washer/dryer in the condo Master shower water temp is hard to master but we figured it out and master bath toilet makes a loud noise, but 2 Baths so all good there. Both should be fixed and ill send comment to Vacasa Vacasa communication before my stay was tough over chat/email but very responsive on the phone. But any checkin/out and stay communication was great. Location of apartment (besides the ocean being there) is pretty great, everything seemed to be 10-30min away. Not a good walking area but plenty of people are seen walking into town so it could be done (2miles ish)
