Lyman's is close when surf watching sounds better than swimming. Kailua Village sits a couple of miles north along Ali'i Drive, ready with waterfront dining and shops for a low-key evening. The open layout and lanai make this a smart choice for people who want a real pause between beach time and dinner in town.
The Space:
Natural light and an open layout make the living area easy to share after the beach. This one-bedroom condo sleeps up to four in two beds, with air conditioning and ceiling fans for comfort. The fully equipped kitchen supports anything from a quick breakfast to dinner at home. The private lanai is the natural place to take coffee, lunch, or an evening drink before the next Kona plan.

The Neighborhood:
This stretch of Ali'i Drive puts the west coast within easy reach without requiring a busy resort schedule. Magic Sands Beach Park and Pahoehoe Beach Park are about a mile away for sand and swimming, and nearby Lyman's gives surfers and curious kids something to watch. For a different kind of afternoon, drive north a couple of miles to Kailua Village for its historic streets, waterfront restaurants, and shopping. The area works well when each person in the group wants a different pace.
Getting Around:
A rental car is the easiest way to explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Ali'i Drive connects this area with Kailua-Kona, beach parks, dining, and shops. Check your reservation details for parking information and plan on a car for flexible access to beaches and day trips.

Cockroaches! Left as soon as we saw multiple cockroaches dead on the floor. Sent photos to vacasa and requested a refund and called, but still no response. Horrible experience!

Away from busy downtown, easy to access parking, nice small beach area
Located about 20 mins from the airport. A short walk across the street to beach access. Plenty of parking. Unit is on the third floor (no elevators). A/C unit is only in living room however, if you utilize the 2 standing floor fan's it does cool down the whole unit quite well. Very well maintained and clean. Great for couple, family or self getaway. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Everything you need to enjoy the island, great location
Great location
The property was just as the pictures showed. We appreciated the use of beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and water socks! Pool and beautiful ocean are just across the street from the rest of the condo complex. We understand the simplicity of the condo, but thought it would be nice if the living area offered a comfortable chair for evening family time. (no complaints! We were well aware of the furnishings). The bedroom is quiet and bed sooo comfortable! Kitchen is well stocked. There is a nice patio with two chairs and table. Be careful, though, because the A/C drips and the tiles are very slippery! This condo fit our budget nicely (there were 4 of us: 2 adults, 15 and 8 year old) and we appreciate the comfortable stay. This was our first trip to Hawaii and I would highly recommend this condo for budget minded travelers. Easy distance to all shopping. People drive very carefully and slow on the street in front of the condo. I would rate this condo a 10.

Very cozy, clean, & close to everything. The check-in lady was extremely friendly. Quiet & landscaped beautifully. Came equipped with everything needed for cooking & more.
That it was right in front of a good surfing spot, and close to good snorkel spots
Loved the pool and location, wasn't in a loud crowded area, close to great snorkel spots on Alii Dr. Def going to come back some day
