Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire private studio and all building amenities using the key card issued at check-in (government-issued ID required at the front desk). Guests will have access to all building amenities including the pool (Floor 1, 9am–9pm), fitness center (Floor 1, 5am–9pm), BBQ grills on the amenity deck (first-come, first-served — ask the front desk to light the grill), self-service laundry, and lobby/mezzanine areas, and complimentary WiFi. Valet parking is available on-site ($52.35/day); nearby alternatives include the Marriott parking garage and street parking.

The open-air International Market Place is steps away for shopping and dining under a historic banyan tree, the Honolulu Zoo is just around the corner for a fun family outing, and the iconic Diamond Head hike with its panoramic coastal views is only 15 minutes away. Getting Around:

You're perfectly located on Kalākaua Avenue, Waikīkī's main boulevard — the beach is a short walk away, world-class dining, shopping at the International Market Place, and the Honolulu Zoo are all within easy walking distance. No rental needed for most of your stay! If you plan to explore the rest of the island, The Honolulu bus and ride share options like Uber and Lyft are good options. However, we recommend renting a car for the most seamless island exploring experience.

Beach-Ready Amenities

To help you make the most of your time in the sun, we’ve stocked the suite with beach essentials including a beach umbrella, beach towels, two beach chairs, and a cooler bag. While we don’t provide snorkel gear due to liability reasons, guests sometimes leave theirs behind — feel free to use anything left in the unit.

Parking

If you have a car, your only option to park onsite is to use the hotel's valet service. The cost of valet parking is $52.36/day. Many guests have found it convenient to park nearby at the Marriott Parking garage. Rates are currently $55/day, but subject to change. Also, street parking is a convenient option when available.

IMPORTANT! Overnight parking is available based on availability. Guests staying in privately managed units at Luana Waikiki may be asked to move their vehicle if the parking area is full. Guests should be directed to nearby alternative parking options, including the Saratoga Road Post Office parking lot and Hale Koa parking facilities. We recommend planning your parking arrangements in advance if you will have a vehicle during your stay.

Tropical Life Notice

Hawaii is home to a unique tropical ecosystem, which means pests can show up even in the cleanest and best-maintained properties. We use a trusted local team for regular pest control, and we keep the unit spotless between stays. You can help by throwing out leftover food daily to avoid attracting anything unwanted.
