Pack lighter and stay near the water in this one-bedroom Mana Kai Maui Resort condo, where a private washer and dryer means beach towels do not have to take over the trip. The one-bath layout sleeps two and gives a couple a genuine kitchen, private lanai, air conditioning, and WiFi between long walks on Keawakapu Beach. Start with a swim when conditions allow, linger at the shared pool, or use the fitness center before heading out to South Kihei for dinner. Two gas grills on the property are handy for the nights when you would rather stay in. Wailea is close when you want a dinner reservation or another scenic beach. This is a well-suited Maui base for two people who want condo comforts with the sand close at hand.
The Space:
This 383-square-foot one-bedroom suite is arranged for two guests who prefer a real home base over a hotel room. The kitchen keeps breakfast and simple meals easy, and the private lanai offers fresh air after a saltwater day. Its private washer and dryer are the useful difference here, letting you rinse swimsuits and towels whenever you need to. Air conditioning, WiFi, and an in-room safe round out the stay.
Guest Access:
Guests at Mana Kai Maui Resort enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool, hot tub, and fitness center, right on one of South Kihei's finest beaches. An elevator and disabled parking spot make getting around easy, and the beachfront setting puts the sand just outside. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Keawakapu Beach stretches along the South Kihei and Wailea edge, giving this location a beach-forward feel with town conveniences nearby. Walk the sand in the morning, swim or snorkel when conditions permit, then explore South Kihei's coffee shops and casual restaurants. Wailea's beaches and dining are a short outing in the other direction. It is a strong fit for couples who want the coast close enough that a sunset stroll can be an ordinary part of the evening.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Excellent property with great ocean views
Beautiful place, very nice furniture, comfortable 👌 bed. Million dollars view from the balcony. Green lawn, sandy beach.
This unit was so well stocked! Kitchen, bathroom, balcony...so appreciated the chairs and umbrella...king bed was a little high for this short woman, but very comfortable. Everything was wonderful…went in October…no whales, but beautiful sunrise and sunset from balcony. will definitely try to get this unit again (from Vacasa!). Just make sure the AC contact at top of doors are lined up!
The building is in a wonderful location on the beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. It is managed by another company so they did not communicate through VRBO and wanted me to sign up for their app to get more information.

Loved listening to ocean sounds and sitting in bed overlooking beach and ocean. Spacious, all desired amenities. Great location within walking distance of wailea beach pathway. Great lawn and beach.
The condo is beautiful but that view…. It is totally breathtaking! Sunsets in the evening and sunrise over the mountain in the morning. Exquisite!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This was a lovely location for our family to enjoy Kihei and the surrounding areas. Pluses: The owners have fully stocked the unit so it has everything you need and all of good quality. Perfect location with a 1 minute walk to a wonderful beach and we loved the grassy area and small pool facing the ocean. Loved eating breakfast facing the ocean too. Things to work on: We had a lot of ants in the kitchen and bathroom. We didn't keep any food out, but they seem to come as soon as you drop something. I'm not sure if it is part of all buildings in Maui. Also, the sofabed is not sleepable as it is so old and you can feel every spring - our kids and us could not sleep in it. I called Vacasa after our first night and they said there is nothing they could do about it and I should write about it in my review.
The View was stunning. The room was very clean and highly organized.I look forward when the new restaurant will be there. I didn’t like how many people came off from the street who were not staying at Mana Kai…..
This is one of the best apartments we have ever rented. From the well appointed kitchen to the lovely furniture and view, perfection. The owner obviously cares and has great taste.
