The place was in a great location, the grounds are well maintained. Sunsets are fantastic, the host responds quickly. The condo seems to be well stocked. It could use some updating but really functional. The location is ideal to explore the island. The beach was great and we managed to watch whales.
The listing is accurate. The view is amazing. Access to the beach, sitting on the lawn, a sense of community with others, and Sherry responds quickly to all needs. Terry works hours cleaning the pool every day. Great experience.
The condo was very nice. The building, pool and beach was very quiet and calm. Residents were very nice. The sun set right in front of the condo. Incredible view each night. The water on this beach is a little muddy for swimming but not a huge deal. The beach was quiet with very few people so walks on the beach were very pleasant.

Sleep peacefully on a king-size bed, relax watching the swaying palm trees & the ocean from the lanai, living room & kitchen. An instant exhale. Take the elevator or a quick set of stairs to the pool and Sugar Beach, or BBQ at the oceanfront grills. During this trip we discovered sweeping views & amazing menu at Ocean Organic Farm & Distillery in Kula, a short 20-minute drive - next to Surfing Goat Dairy). Do not miss the toasted coconut or lilikoi malasadas & key lime pie at Sugar Beach Bake Shop (a quick 10-minute walk) are out of this world! Thanks, Sherry for the recommendation! A wonderful stay. We love this unit for its beautiful view of the ocean, the sounds of the ocean waves overnight and that you can just walk right out to the beach! The unit was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. We highly recommend a stay in unit 203.
We love the place and location..Coffee in the morning, watching the sun rises and sets is one of our things to do. We can’t wait to stay here again soon!

Reviewer Comments: OVERALL: From 9/20/2023-9/24/2023 in room 203, I enjoyed my stay despite minor disruptions that were resolved during the stay (faulty bathroom vanity light, broken coffee maker, etc.). Our unit was on the second floor overlooking the pool and beach. The views could be seen from the front door, through the kitchen and the living room/dining room. I appreciated the white kitchen and organization updates in the kitchen (esp the drawer and cabinet pull-outs). I liked that the bedroom had a large window view of the ocean and trees. It was very convenient that the unit had its own beach towels, beach chairs (with straps as an attached backpack), umbrellas, and small cooler that we took to the local beaches including the one right outside. Once we touched base with the front desk manager, she was a fount of great information and recommendations. The bedroom was large, had a window with a view of the trees and ocean (it also had a camera that looks right into the bedroom so could that be changed please?) and had a futon in the sitting area (for extra sleeping spaces - good idea). CONS: Cleanliness was not up to par. I swept the entire unit within hours of arrival and found dirt (not just sand) on the floor). I handwashed the few plates, mugs, classes and silverware we did use before using them as they seemed dirty/spotty; I handwashed them afterwards. I did not use the dishwasher while there. The bathroom was clean. Although not all the dresser's drawers worked, there was still enough space to unpack some items and the bedroom was clean. The only other downside was that the bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable. We could feel the springs through it so it's time to replace that. Otherwise, everything else was great.

The marketing photos are shot with a fisheye lens, you're shocked upon entering the unit to see how small it is. I'll describe some of the features and you decide if it's a luxury unit. The white track light canisters in the living area and kitchen have yellowed in the last there decades of use. The white drapes in the bedroom are stained, apparently from rain exposure a year or two previous. The pale floor tiles really make the dirty black grout pop. The grout reaches it's pinnacle of grunge where it meets the shower and morphs into multiple shades of brown and black. Nimble feet and skinny legs are helpful when operating the bathroom door as it clears the toilet by only an inch, really. We found stepping into the shower first before closing the bathroom door was helpful. Interesting use of a bar sink for the bathroom sink, created some helpful vanity space. Pots and pans have long lost their non-stick coatings, only one was usable. The manager Sherry, told my wife the contract couldn't be broken, all the other units were the same and she was just nit-picking. Use realistic photos and accurate adjectives when marketing the property, luxury and newly renovated don't fit. All said, the grounds are well maintained and the units are thirty yards from one of the nicest sections of white sand beach on Maui. An in-service on customer relations would be beneficial for the management.
