Haleakala Shores A-301 - Golden Sand Beaches, Ocean Views, Sleeps 6, Split AC!

The good: excellent view of the ocean right across the street. Good location convenient to restaurants and stores that we like. The salt water pool is very nice, gas grills are available and work well. Management was very accommodating when we asked, at the last minute, for a late check out which they did for us, The bad: killed four cockroaches in the kitchen; left some fruit on the counter overnight and the ants were all over it the next morning. Hid all the food in the refrigerator and put out more ant traps and that seemed to lessen the number of ants but they were still there. The split air conditioners put out mildew smelling air, maybe filters need to be cleaned? Anyway, compared to another unit we rented at the same time, in the same building, this one was disappointing.

We were very happy with our stay in the condo! The view is great overlooking the park and ocean and being able to walk to many stores and restaurants was perfect! An added bonus is the Wednesday "Maui Gift and Craft Fair" that is located just across the street from the condo. There are several vendors with quality products. The pool was very nice and clean but not heated. The air conditioning in the condo was excellent! Fully air conditioned units can be difficult to find in Kihei. The communication with the property managers was also excellent. We highly recommend renting this unit.

We really enjoyed how spacious the accommodations were as well as how nicely stocked it was (with nice beach chairs and an umbrella).

Absolutely love this place. We were on our honeymoon and had a blast. Being across from the beach was just fantastic. The views were great, place is so comfortable and homey too. Can't wait to come back.

Had a great stay! Central to quite a few beach options and all the supplies you need- even some toys for the sand! Pool was a great option for a break from the sand. Close enough to walk to nearby stores, but also super accessible by car even during busy traffic. Loved having a dedicated parking spot when the craft fair came on Wednesday and when the park got busy on the weekend. Perfect spot!

We had a really good time. The condominium is clean and views are amazing. Has all the amenities including an outdoor storage with beach chairs for your convenience. Would book again in the future.

This condo is fabulous! It is right across the road from the beach. Each morning, sitting on the Balcony, you can listen to the roar of the ocean road and watch the surf come in. It is so relaxing with all the songbirds singing away! Unit has three wall mounted AC Units that work excellently to cool you down after a long hot day at the beach. Highly recommended!!!

We loved the location to the beach and the shops. Good place for kids and glad there was an elevator for our stroller.

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit. We love how close it is to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The unit was clean and well stocked. We had a great stay and plan on renting this unit again in the future.

Place is great, updated very nicely bathrooms, lots of natural light. Very great to have some beach chairs, towels, cooler, and two umbrellas for use. Fold out sofa bed, and two king beds. Street between the apartment is very busy, lots of cars traveling on that street. Also, some interesting characters in the park, but we never felt unsafe. Kitchen is dated, but functional. The beach across has some great snorkeling, saw all kinds of corals, sea urchins, turtles, and tons of colorful fish. Felt no need to spend extra to go on an excursion for skin diving, had everything that I wanted very close by. Would stay there again. Gave four stars because of the dated kitchen and locals. There is an art market that pops up close by.

Loved the unit. Right across from the beach and had everything you'd need. Good restaurants just down the road along with places to rent snorkel gear and boogie boards. Would stay again!

I can't say enough good things about the stay, location is convenient, lots of big windows to view the waves and the sunset. Suite is spacious and host was one of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend!

Great location! Just across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III with a good wide view of the water. The showers make it feel more luxurious than other places. The AC works well, and the place feels comfortable, clean, and relaxing.

We spent a lovely Christmas in Kihei and the unit was perfect. Since it's just across the street from the beach there was some noise but sleep sounds on my phone took care of that. A lovely condo and we appreciated that it was spotless! The best, would choose this unit again.

The unit was very spacious with lots of nice windows to see the ocean. The furniture was very comfortable and the king size beds amazing.Location of the unit is close to lots of shops and restraunts, and directly across the street from a nice beach park. My only issue was the sound of traffic from the bedroom on the road side of the unit.

Perfect location and view! This spot had everything, was well located across from the beach and was the perfect home away from home. The host was very responsive and helpful. 10/10

The property was just as described. The views were amazing and it was perfectly located just steps from the beach. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, as was the rest of the condo.

We had a rough first 24 hours but the host more then made it right. He was exceptionally responsive and made everything right. We spend 4 1/2 weeks. Loved our location and all its conveniences. The unit was more than adequate and very comfortable. We would definitely go back. If you want to walk everywhere in Kihei this is the spot.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. The location was unreal. Looked just like the photos. Gorgeous. We barely cooked but if we did we would have had everything we needed. We had our local family come over and they are looking forward to booking for a weekend, The pano view is exactly as described.

Such a convenient place to stay! Close to everything and directly across from a beach. Little bit of road noise but they had sound machines in the bedrooms to cover it up and they worked perfectly! Definitely would stay again as I felt safe and secure . Came with all the amenities you could ask for !

We had an amazing time in Maui! The unit was exactly as described. It is close to restaurants, shops, and most importantly the beach! Having 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer were great. We enjoyed the “extras” (beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards). We would stay here again.

Had a wonderful time here. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Quick walk to local restaurants, bars, beach across the street and central to all parts of Maui. Would definitely suggest staying at this condo. My only critique (and this is me just picking on something that may not be that important to all) is the Pool, although clean sufficient) was a bit of a nuisance because we needed keys to enter and exit. Overall, everything in the listing was as stated.

Nice place, beach is close. I wish the AC was allowed to go lower than 69 degrees. The place could use a stand alone de-humidifier. Parking space is extremely tight. Other than that, it's a nice place.

My recent stay at this condo in Haleakala Shores was a slice of paradise. The condo had lovely decor, an ocean-view lanai, and a well-equipped kitchen. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were very nice. The condo was full of beach supplies. Other than groceries we needed nothing else! The location was convenient and allowed easy walking access to Kam III, shops and restaurants. Highly recommended for a Maui getaway!

The condo was perfect for my husband, myself and 2 adult daughters. The traffic noise may be disturbing for some. We had earplugs and to be honest I only used them 1 night.
