The Neighborhood:
Casa de Emdeko places you on Ali'i Drive, about two miles south of Kailua-Kona's waterfront restaurants, shops, and coffee stops. The complex's oceanfront setting makes it easy to build pool time and a sunset look into each day. For beach outings, Honl's Beach is close and Magic Sands Beach Park is farther down the coast. Kahalu'u Beach Park is another Ali'i Drive stop for snorkeling. The area works particularly well for families who want to move between beach, town, and home without long drives or a fixed resort schedule.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 minutes away by car. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Kona Coast. Casa de Emdeko is about two miles south of Kailua-Kona town, while Honl's Beach is about one mile away and Magic Sands Beach Park is about two miles away.

We loved this property. It was very clean, comfortable and great location. We loved the pool by the ocean. We would definitely stay here again. We had issues with getting into the property - could never get the 10 digit code to enter in the door lock so had to use the key while we were there, but that worked.
The lanai had a wonderful ocean view and the sounds of the waves and the salt swimming pool reflected beautiful sunsets. It overlooked a tiki lit garden complete with pu blown at sunset. Great Polynesian decor Lovingly cared for clean and comfortable four four.
I just returned from an incredible stay at Hale Ohana 317. A two-bedroom oceanfront condo. I can’t recommend it enough! The views from the balcony were simply breathtaking, and waking up to the sound of waves was a dream come true. The condo itself was well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and a spacious layout. We loved having a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals while enjoying the incredible ocean views from the balcony. The saltwater pool right by the ocean was a highlight for me. There’s nothing like floating in the pool while watching the waves crash nearby. The freshwater pool was also a great option for a more traditional swim. Both pools were clean and never felt crowded. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the cabana area. It had a lovely seating space, perfect for gathering with friends or just lounging with a book. The three BBQs made it easy to grill up dinner while enjoying the ocean view—what a perfect way to unwind! Every evening, the community gathered at the ocean wall for the sunset conch blowing, which added a unique touch to our experience. It was a wonderful way to connect with fellow guests and celebrate the end of the day together. The sandy beach area was great for lounging, reading a book or taking a nap, it felt like our own private paradise. Overall, this condo offered the perfect blend of relaxation and community. I can’t wait to return!
