2BR/2BA White Sands Village-Ocean View Condo-footsteps from Magic Sands Beach!

The location was fantastic. The beach across the street has the most amazing, majestic waves. That means it’s not really swimmable (at least when we were there), but it’s a boogie boarding hot spot and the locals put on quite the impressive show.The house was so well provisioned. It had everything we could have possibly wanted. So grateful to the hosts for all the attention to detail.

The place had not been cleaned after the previous guest. There were used towels in the bathroom, the bed was not made. Host was very rude and inconsiderate. He sent the cleaner in the evening. We could not use the place till after 7 pm. Host did not provide any refund or discounts for the inconvenience. Location does not feel very safe. Condo is spacious and has the essentials. Just the cleaning and communication with the host was very dissatisfactory.

The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need and then some. The view of the ocean was excellent and the walk yo the piblic lifeguard beach was just across the street. The pool was very relaxing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time and it was directly across the street from a beautiful beach and a nice restaurant. I would stay there again. Don’t think I would suggest is if you’re going there bring beach towels there are beach towels that they have are very, very thin.

As a family traveling with kids, property provided us with all things to make overall experience fun for kids.

More toilet paper and towels otherwise fully stocked loved the beach

The kitchen was sett up great for our needs. Unfortunately we were unable to use the outdoor facilities due to the Kona Low storm during our stay but they did look clean and inviting.

The unit was fantastic! Very clean and the upgrades and finishes were really nice. Especially the beautiful solid wood doors. This is one of those rare units where you don’t have to worry about coffee filters, salt/pepper, or even soap and shampoo. Very well and thoughtfully stocked. Even a couple of boogie boards and snorkeling sets were available for use. All of that, plus the location and view are great. Highly recommended.

We’ve stayed in White Sands Village a number of times and this was our favourite unit! Close to the beach, great view and all of the amenities were in good condition. Best of all, though, was that the kitchen was stocked with the essentials - spices, condiments, etc. So often there’s nothing and we have to throw out half used ingredients.

Great location with all amenities as described. Mild confusion with initial check in but otherwise great place to stay on the Big Island!

This unit is amazing. Very clean and everything you need is available in the unit. The view was great but most of all the location. Right across the street from magic sands beach. The sun sets were some of the best we have seen in our lifetimes. Host was great. We will be back to this location again.

This was a wonderful location! Magic sands beach was closer than I expected, I could see the ocean from the kitchen and we could hear the surf. The condo was comfortable and clean and was well stocked with anything and everything. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and we hope to be back someday!

The property/condo were very nice. I love it when they're stocked with the little extras: seasonings, lots of kitchen items, and all the beach stuff. We were only there 3 days, so we didn't take advantage of all the amenities, but we were impressed. It would've been perfect if a crib or pak'n'play was available, but I got the impression wee ones aren't real welcomed. And that's ok.

Great location, cross the street to jump into the waves. An older beach unit but well taken care of. Lots of kitchen supplies; plenty of pots and pans, many storage containers, and well stocked with spices. Handicap access can be difficult. Garage is on the ground level. There is an elevator but you still have a flight of stairs down to the unit. Wish we had more time there.

This place was amazing. Location was fantastic, and the VRBO was stocked better than any other Vrbo we have stayed at. Only on negative comment on the bath towels, the were the worst ever. Please get softer towels for future guests.

Very clean, spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything our family of 5 needed, including tupperware for excursions! Excellent location in Kona just across from the sandy beach. Parking, pool, hot tub, and tennis courts were all top notch.

We’ve stayed in many hotels and resorts but this is the first condo we’ve booked. Attention to detail was very much appreciated, such as power bars with USB ports next to the beds, luggage racks, laundry baskets and night lights in the bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, dishes, spices, ice packs, plastic containers, ziplock bags, etc. plus there were coolers and beach chairs. The condo was exactly as shown in the pictures. We picked this complex because of the beach across the street and everyone agreed it was a perfect location.

Great place!

The place was clean and well stocked as far as kitchen, laundry, and beach accessories. The location was good, across the street from Magic Beach, and not far from all the places in Kona. Check in was simple and the host was responsive when I messaged about a possible late check out. (Side note, I should have checked about a late check out far before the trip, my bad.) The pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor cooking spaces are great. There are a few things that would have improved our experience. First, the towels are terrible and rough like sand paper. Second, this is not a sleep 6, there are beds for 4, an uncomfortable couch (not sofa sleeper) that doesn’t fold out and several air mattresses to choose from that don’t have sheets to fit. We were 5 so we made it happen but not what we were expecting . Third, one of the two beach umbrellas does not have any way to anchor it down, so be prepared to hold it all day. Overall we had a wonderful trip and would stay here again if we were only sleeping 4 or less people.

What a great condo. Loved the location-8 min drive to Kailua Kona for dinner and shopping. Loved the beach across the street and the pool. Condo was SO well appointed with everything we could ever need.

We have been to the Big Island before so we were not looking to do a lot of sightseeing. We rented a car for one day and used the free public transportation (Trolley) when we needed to go anywhere! The location of this condo was perfect with stops very close to the condo.The condo was very clean and very well stocked with everything! We have stayed at several VRBOs and never had one that provided so many supplies such as storage containers, Ziplock bags, shampoo, conditioner & body wash!!! And of course all of the necessary kitchen appliances, dishes and utensils!The complex was perfect! BBQ, pool table and pool! The grounds were very well maintained and we felt very safe there.We highly recommend this unit and look forward to staying there again!

Very much appreciate how smooth everything went. Super easy check in/check out. Condo was spotlessly clean, nice view of the ocean, ample supplies including items left by prior renters (boogie boards, noodles, etc). This condo is directly across the street from Magic Sands Beach, about a one minute or less walk. With a rental car easy to run into town, visit the Volcano National Park, Hilo, etc. Thank-you for a very wonderful vacation. It provided my wife and I a very special time and memories with our adult grandkids.

This rental was so well stocked with a complete kitchen full of condiments!It's located right across the street from Magic Sands Beach!

Great location and home base for exploring the island! There’s a Beach Shack across the street where we enjoyed lattes and açaí bowls and watched the kids boogie board and jump waves at Magic Sands beach. Well stocked kitchen and a KTA within a six minute drive. Communication with host was quick and easy. Would recommend and love to stay again.

Place smells moldy, bed mattress worn out, to close to the road noise and late partiers on the beach making loud noise.

Great location and space. Unit was well stocked and it was nice to have access to beach equipment and towels to use during our stay. There did not appear to be a double futon in the living room, but perhaps it just was not obvious to us how the couch became a futon. Comfortably sleeps 4, more seems a little tight but we made it work. Overall very pleased.

The property itself was fine. A little older but clean, nice pool area and nice lanai to sit and listen to the ocean. The Magic Sands beach is nothing special, overcrowded, rocky, lots of homeless around the area, and an evening hangout for the local teen crowd. Never felt unsafe in the area but it’s not exactly the best part of the big island.

We loved that the home It was well stocked with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Food that had been purchased and not used was available - in pantry - which is always helpful. Beach across the street was nice but unusable for us at this time since the waves were incredibly high. Lots of restaurants around. A distance from other sights such as Volcano National Monument and the Rain Forest so we did do a bit of driving.

Great location if you’re interested in beach, sun and surf. It checked our boxes!

The location was convenient to beach across the street and Magics restaurant. The condo was well equipped in kitchen, bathroom, and beach equipment(chairs, cooler, boogie board, beach towels, umbrella etc). It was very clean. The initial access to unit was confusing. We followed sign to office which was closed when we arrived. After making a phone call we were told to park in space with unit # and go up the stairs or elevator to unit where there is a lockbox. We thought the lockbox was at the office. I recommend this 2 bedroom rental for family.

Had everything you would maybe need to buy foe your stay. Owner has thought of everything. Comfoetable beds. Excellent layout of condo. Balcony is spacious. Pool and hot tub at complex is great place to spend an afternoon. Directly across street from Magic Sands beach and short drive to downtown. Would stay here again.

The title pretty much sums it up. This is such a a great location right across the street from Magic Sands Beach which is beautiful. I have never seen a rental that was as well stocked as this place. Just about everything I needed was here. I did not need to pack half of what we packed because it was all here. If we are blessed with the opportunity to return to the island I would totally stay in this same place. I will recommend this place to any friends or family that will be traveling to the island.

This condo was perfect for our trip with two kids 3 and under along with a 10yo. It had the right amount of space for all of us. All the items you may need on a Hawaiian vacation, this place had it! I loved that it included bathroom supplies like soap, razor, and hair ties (to name a few). The amount of beach items included was awesome too! Everything was in working order and the place was clean and well kept. To my surprise the dining table was not glass which made me happy. I was a little nervous about my little ones around a glass table. Mainly because their ages but my worries were gone seeing there was a nice, sturdy table. The host was quick to respond before our arrival. We had no issues during our stay and would look at staying here again in the future. My favorite part was the lanai. We sat out there every morning, my kids enjoyed their breakfast while my husband and I enjoyed our coffee. I loved listening to and watching the waves across the street.

Nice balcony beach across the road and clean

This was our third time at White Sands Village and we so enjoy the location, the outdoor facilities (pool, hot tub and BBQ's) as well as the beautiful lawn. The easy access to the beach and the stunning views from our Lanai make this a great get away for our family. This condo was comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen and was big enough for our needs.

We enjoyed a few days here before moving on to Hilo. Comfortable lounging space, kitchen, and pool access for evenings in after snorkeling trips from Two Step (~40 minutes south) up to Beach 49 (~ 50 minutes north). Available gear includes snorkeling masks/fins (we brought our own) and some boogie boards. Teen enjoyed latter for a first attempt to body surf at beach across road. Thank you.

Perfect location for our various activities, plus just across the beach to watch the gorgeous sunsets every evening. Property well maintained; loved the pool area. The condo has a well-stocked kitchen, lots of beach accessories including beach chairs, coolers, snorkel equipment. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent instructions from the owner made for easy check-in. The condo was very clean and well equipped for beach outings. There are beach umbrellas, boogie boards, pool noodles, coolers and more. Most everything you would need for the beach. The kitchen was stocked with spices/dishes/cookware and about any appliance you need for meal prep. The lanai is a great space to enjoy your morning coffee while you watch the ocean surf and it also looks out onto a beautiful landscaped courtyard. There is some road noise from Ali'i drive while on the lanai but it didn't bother us. It is a very short walk to White Sands Beach to play in the water or just watch the sunset. This condo provided a fantastic base for our big island adventures. We hope to stay there again sometime.

We had a wonderful stay!!! The condo was clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better vacation. We will definitely plan on staying here again. Next time I hope that Magic Sands Beach Has sand but that has little to do with the condo. Luckily the pool was a life saver with our younger kids!

Fabulous! Comfortable! Amazing amenities! What a lovely place to stay. The hosts have thought of everything, and talk about a well stocked kitchen, truly appreciated being able to easily cook there and just have all the basics, including condiments already there! We'll be back!

Steps to the beach! Clean and well managed condos. We come back every year!

We love this complex. We’ve stayed at this complex 4-5 times so far, right across the street from our favorite beach. This unit is wonderful.

This property was more than we expected! My only exception would be there were no elevators to get to the different floors that made it a bit difficult to get our room, but once we got there our stay was amazing!

Super clean property right across from the beach. Appreciate the use of free beach chairs and umbrella. Did not use the pool but the property ground looks very well kept. Just and FYI: there is an elevator but you’ll also need to take some small steps to the unit so if you have heavy luggage or traveling with elders, be sure to help them with it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place was perfect for my kids and I! Loved going straight from the pool to the beach and was very comfortable for all of us! Very clean and had everything we needed! We will definitely be back!

Everything was nice clean and spacious. The only problem I had is getting my scooter to the apartment didn’t realize there was stairs to the apartment. But we managed.

A spacious condo nicely updated with great location. We enjoyed being close to the harbor for snorkeling tours and a short walk from a restaurant.
