Perched on the third floor of Kulakane's intimate oceanfront resort, with just 42 units, this beautifully remodeled condo offers spectacular, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. Relax on your private lanai and enjoy breathtaking sunsets, watch sea turtles feeding and playing on the reef below, and, during whale season, witness humpback whales breaching offshore. Guests also enjoy direct ocean access for swimming and snorkeling, an oceanfront dipping pool, plenty of lounge chairs, and a sandy beach located just steps away.
Ideally situated in the heart of West Maui, the resort is only minutes from the world-renowned destinations of Ka'anapali and Kapalua. Within walking distance, you'll find local favorites including coffee shops, grocery stores, a farmers market, surf and snorkel rental shops, and nearby parks. Additional shopping, dining, golf, beaches, and water activities are all just a short drive away, with Kahana, Napili, Kapalua, and Lahaina easily accessible.
Completely remodeled in 2018, this spacious condo features two private bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The upstairs primary suite offers a comfortable queen bed, en-suite bathroom, and large closet. The downstairs guest bedroom includes two twin beds and generous storage space. For additional flexibility, the living room features a queen-size sleeper sofa, comfortably accommodating families and small groups.
The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a gourmet dinner. Amenities include a refrigerator with ice maker, cooktop stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, rice cooker, and a full selection of cookware and utensils. Guests also have access to beach gear, including boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, a shade umbrella, and even a set of golf clubs.
For your entertainment and convenience, the condo offers complimentary Wi-Fi, free local phone service, two HDTVs with cable service, DVD and CD players, and an iPod docking station. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms, the living area, and kitchen work with Maui's refreshing trade winds to keep the condo comfortable year-round.
The resort provides two gas BBQ grills for guest use, complemented by fresh herbs grown by the on-site manager. Complimentary off-street parking, quality linens, bath towels, and beach towels are included. A convenient laundry facility is located near the office, which also features a free lending library for guests.
One of Kulakane's most beloved traditions takes place each evening at sunset when conch shells are blown from the seawall to bid the sun farewell and welcome its return. On Friday evenings, guests gather for a casual, no-host pupu party by the pool, sharing stories, recommendations, and favorite Maui experiences with both new and returning visitors.

Our host was amazing and great at communicating and accommodating, and he needs we had. The place was set up perfectly and very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We dealt with a blackout that had nothing to do with the owner and were able to still enjoy our stay there. We loved it there and would go back many times more.
The whole family enjoyed our stay here. The location was beautiful with great snorkeling onsite and near by. Several of the local food options were excellent. We had plenty of space for our family of 4 in the 2 bed/2 bath unit. Watching the turtles from the lanai was so much fun!

Aside from it being oceanfront and full of turtles; it was also conveniently placed for food and shopping. Our only complaint was one broken fan (that they did offer to fix but we were fine at night without it) & the lack of air conditioning because it would get a bit hot during the day. Luckily, the nights were great. We would definitely come back!
Loved falling asleep with the waves and the breeze off of the ocean. Easy walk to the food trucks. Plenty of parking. Saw whales from the balcony.

It’s always so perfect having coffee on the lanai (cocktails) in the evening and watching the turtles. We named 1 “Steve” a few tears ago, he only has 1 flipper but didn’t see him this trip. Your condo has become a home away from home for us over the years and we are so grateful for the beautiful space to make memories and enjoy time with our 3 teenage daughters. We have already booked stays for the next two years...and hope for many more visits as well. The condo was clean and stocked well. The cleaning teams are just amazing and so kind! We even found items that we have left in the closets, so that was fun!If we could offer any suggestions, we would love to see the couch upgraded. We don't spend a ton of time in the condo, but at night it would be nice (especially around the holidays) to be able to all (fam of 5 adults) have a place to sit and relax. An L shaped couch with a pullout would be amazing and then you could just get rid of the chair by the door. The couch in general is getting a little worn and "grimy" looking and feeling. The carpet and rugs also are getting very worn and could probably use to be replaced at some point. Beds are comfy and we always sleep so well in Maui. Thank you for your kind hospitality and for sharing this beautiful space with our family. We will treasure our time here forever. Can you beat that view?! It's such amazing.

Sunset was gorgeous......only negative was no air conditioning, it was a little warm and the windows in the living room were broken so not as much air flow I guess. With Air conditioning or maybe more of a breeze it would have been more comfortable.

We appreciated the snorkel gear we were able to use also. Some of the things that could be improved would be lamps with phone chargers, updated bedding and more wash cloths in the kitchen.
