Loved the location- walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants and stores. Only complaint is we are in between the pool and laundry and walls are thin… thankfully everyone was respectful of being quiet after hours. Great value for the !
I liked the decorative touches around the room, and the orderly nature of the kitchen.
Would love to have had some sugar packets and cream available to go with the coffee.
The room was great, free parking spot! It is an older building/room but for the cost, it was fine. The host was very helpful and communicative. Walking to the beach, boardwalk, and shopping. There is no couch as in the picture. The traffic was loud a couple nights and the host left ear plugs as an amenity so. That cannot be controlled by the host though.Overall, good value!
The property was significantly more rundown than the listing showed. Half the stove burners didn't work which significantly hurt our ability to cook effectively for 4 people. It was incredibly dirty when we arrived, it was clear that no one had cleaned there in a long time as there was dust and even grime everywhere. The shower mat had mold and the kitchenware cabinets had a moldy smell that made me feel unsafe to store dishes there after washing them. The sofa in the listing was not present. The location is close to everything, but it is very noisy at all times of the day and night which makes it hard to sleep. The bed sheets and pillows had an awful smell and the beds were so uncomfortable. We contacted support which connected us to the property manager who only managed to make excuses before ghosting us. I can tolerate a lot and never leave bad reviews, but this was so bad that I had to say something. I still have yet to reach a resolution with support/the property manager. The only thing that was offered so far was refunding the cleaning fee (which they obviously pocket themselves) before being ghosted and not even refunding it. Do not stay here.
Very clean and perfect for what we needed. Very central to everything on Waikiki. I would definitely stay again.
