Great location. Big space for our family in center of Waikiki. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every day. Short walk to beach and in middle of shopping center. Loved having a fridge and dishwasher for our kids. Made travel much easier.
Great condo! Excellent location - close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We got lucky and had ocean views from the balconies. The condo had everything we needed and worked well for our group of 6. One of the bedrooms is small, but it was fine for us. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ABC store next to the lobby has a deli and was a convenient place to pick up quick meals to eat in the condo. We would definitely stay here again!
I’ll start by saying the staff were friendly and the location is super convenient, it being close to shops and other hotels, which we appreciated. But unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay here again. The unit felt really old, worn down, and not very clean. Every time we turned on the bathroom light, it flickered like something out of a horror movie. And the bathroom layout? Nearly impossible to get in and out of. It definitely doesn’t seem up to code—installing a pocket door would make a huge difference. The couch was oddly damp from the moment we arrived, which was uncomfortable to sit on. But the most frustrating part was the misleading listing on VRBO. The photos show an amazing ocean view, but that’s actually from a completely different unit. It’s not made clear at all that you might not get that view, and you only find out two days before check-in when they send the details. That was a huge letdown, especially since we brought our two college kids and had booked this place specifically for that view. Bottom line…wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.
Excellent location. One of the bedrooms was very small and also the mattress seemed worn down. One of showers was very small. The other bedroom and bathroom was great though. The hot tub was great but the other one was out of order. The rooftop pool area could use some updating. Kitchen and laundry room was great. Transportation and check-in/out was easy.
Room layout isn’t what we or others would expect. We expected the room with the private bathroom to have 1 king size or queen size bees for my wife and I. Instead my son and his family were in a room with 2 double beds and had the private bath. The small bedroom was very small and the plugs were in horrible spots Also the add said there was a reserved parking spot by the car had to be valeted and it was 35 a day plus tips and resort fees of 15 a day and various taxes. The bedrooms layout wa our biggest issue. You could pick one day a week to have sheets pillow blankets and have the place cleaned.
The Imperial is not the newest luxurious hotel but it has great character and is in a fantastic location just behind The Outrigger. Short walk to restaurants and beach and the fact that there is a kitchen and two bedrooms and you can self cater is great. Beds are comfy and staff friendly. This is our second stay but
Location of the property is close to beaches, restaurants, and shops of Waikiki. The property is dated and could use some updating (particularly the bathrooms)We did experience a few issues with the property. The ‘main’ bedroom with 1 bed is very small without much space between the bed and walls. It also doesn’t have an en-suite bathroom. The larger bedroom with 2 beds is spacious with an en-suite bath. Not the ideal situation for a family as ideally the parents would use the main bedroom, but that was too cramped. We were also charged an additional required daily fee, which was not included in the listing and we were only made aware of it when check-in information was shared a few days prior to our arrival.
I have nothing to complain about. The place was clean, tidy, and the staff were super. We had a car and that was a smooth process. All the valet attendants were amazing and quick. It was worth paying for parking. The pool was very nice. And having an ABC store right there was very handy. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
Perfect location and unit. Views were amazing, with a rainbow outside the balcony almost every day. Walk to beach, shopping and restaurants. Imperial condos had a nice private pool on rooftop and 2 outdoor jacuzzis on another floor. Had fun activities for guests, like lei making, hula dancing and ukulele lessons.
The property is well maintained. In booking the unit..it said the master suite had a king bed and the guest room had 2 singles. The master bedroom had 2 queens and the second bedroom had one queen bedThe daily parking rates Ken at HAwIi rentals quotes was off by 10 per night. It cost me an additional 70 to park my car for the week. The unit was clean and the view from the unit was wonderful!
Great place, excellent staff, great lovation
Great location and great service
Everything was awesome, everyone at the hotel was very polite and accommodating.
As long time Ohau travelers, we know this place very well. Great location, a lot of close shopping, restaurants and most importantly the beach. We’ve been coming to the Imperial for years. An update of furnishings would be nice, but it is still our favorite place in Honolulu… no need to even look at another place.
This was a nice, clean place in a great location. Short walk to the beach. Although the view was not at all like the picture, it was still a decent view and better than other places around us. Our host was good to respond to my messages. It was a good and comfortable place.
Place is not exactly what the picture shows online. It’s not overlooking the ocean but surrounded with buildings but still impressive, Nice and cozy. I wish the place had its own washer / dryer as well as complete in condiments. However, who wants to cook when there’s a lot of good places to eat. Overall, it’s a nice place.
The Imperial was a great place for our family to stay! We were only 5 minutes from Waikiki Beach, and the neighborhood was vibrant and felt very safe! Customer service at the Imperial was fantastic, and our condo had everything we needed - we especially appreciated the two bathrooms and the convenience of the ABC store downstairs. We would definitely stay here again!
Amazing place. Clean, close to beach, shops, restaurants etc. staff is friendly and helpful. We’ll be back
I little outdated. The pool was terrible. The condo was missing alot of kitchen cooking stuff.. very small bedrooms
Great location! Awesome stay!!!
Great place. Hotel was nice. Not many amenities but the resort fee was only $10 a night. As for the room, we got lucky and our condo was high up with a great view west. For traveling with 6 people, it was very good.
Loved that an ABC store was downstairs. Valet parking, very easy. Food options everywhere.
The stay and everything else were good, with one exception. The pictures shown on the online listing were wrong, giving the impression that you will stay in a place with full Ocean Views. We were expecting to have a full view of the ocean, but we ended up at a lower level and only partial view of the ocean. I only stayed in this location for the views.
We loved the location and overall condition and amenities. One neg was we missed the notice of an additional Maintenance fee to be charged upon check in.
The hotel staff was nice and Ray was very attentive leading up to the trip. The room was perfect for us, full kitchen and two balconies! The rooftop pool was nice. Walking distance to everything we wanted to go to. Will be booking again.
The location of the Imperial Hotel was excellent. Next door was an ABC store and short walk to the main shopping strip.
The room was on the 21st floor and nice views. The apartment was well equipped with all the necessary tools for meals.
We had a 2-bedroom apartment and whilst one room was a bit tight on one side of the bed, only a minor issue.
Todd at reception was excellent.
Housekeeping emptied our bins every 2nd day. Additional towels, toilet roils were easily available from housekeeping.
I would stay again
I thought I booked ocean front. Had to stretch to see the ocean and walk a ways to the beach. Certainly didn’t look like the picture!
The unit is in a great location with amazing water view and the staff were lovely. The only down side was the size of the second bedroom as it was very small. Hardly enough room to walk around the bed and no window that opened.
For Australians booking be aware that the cost does not include the daily service fee which was a surprise we got when the email came with unit check in details a few days before checking. We thought the price was inclusive.
