Hands down the best place to stay in Poipu. The best unit in the best complex. The grass area was great for our kids and we were just a view steps away from the pool. The walk to brenneckes and Poipu beach is quick and everything else on the south shore is just a quick drive. Love watching the rainbows and waves and turtles daily. We will absolutely be back!
We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back. The view was absolutely amazing. We had the pleasure of watching whales breach from the patio during our morning coffee and had plenty of sea turtle visits while swimming at the gorgeous pool, which sits right on the ocean. Beautiful beaches steps away and the place provided all the beach toys and gear we needed. Falling asleep to the waves each night was wonderful. The condo was well stocked, very clean, and the neighbors were all friendly. You won’t regret staying here!
The condo is located in a complex that sits directly on an ocean bluff. The sound of the ocean from the condo and patio area was AWESOME! The complex pool also sits directly over the bluff which was wonderful and relaxing. The complex is dated and part of the pool fencing was broken and coned off during our visit, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the pool area. The unit itself is roomy ([plenty of room for two couples) but could use some maintenance. The A/C units are rusty and the unit could use a new coat of paint. Also, just be advised, there are no kitchen condiments other than salt and pepper and a coffee sampler, so if you plan to cook at all bring your own oil, spices, etc. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful location and the pool. It is within walking distance to restaurants, etc, and the turtles at Poipu Beach!
This is a nice unit with comfortable beds and good indoor furniture. The property management company was great and very responsive.
However there are some small updates needed. The Lanai needs an outdoor table with an umbrella as the sun is VERY intense & hot if there are no clouds in the sky. We found there were some afternoons when we could not sit outside for more than 10 minutes.
Some basic additional kitchen items are needed, such as basic metal sheet pan, cork boards, large cutting boards.
The bathroom in the master bedroom needs to be updated soon.

Beautiful location, very nice and spacious interior, with a Lanai that connects you to the ocean. Great pool, able to see a pod of dolphins and sea turtles right along the wall. Would definitely recommend!

Poipu Shores can simply not be beat. The location is ideal, and both the view and the sounds of the ocean are unforgettable. We especially enjoy the sea turtles and dolphins/porpoises (we can never remember which) that we watch from the patio outside 104A. Simply an amazing place to spend a week.
Nice location. Older, dated building and grounds. Condo was comfortable for our needs. The AC in the living room couldn't keep up with the heat of the day. AC in primary bedroom kept the room cool at night. Beds were comfortable and all linen was clean. Overall nice place, just needed a little updating and finish work.
Good location and clean. The AC didn’t work great so the room where my daughter stayed and she ended up on the couch a couple of nights bc it was so hot.
Also, the front desk was not super helpful bc that is the only property that is managed by someone offsite so all they do is give out the parking pass. We were told check out was 10:00am and at 10:03am someone was checking to see if we were gone.
I don’t think I would stay there again but it ended up being ok.
